Everything went really smoothly. I live near this location and have used trucks about 5 times in the past 3 years for various projects after my move in. Always clean, well organized and friendly people helping. Its a great location!

Sometimes the wait to get your rental is a little long even when you have a reservation. You should have a designated line for reservations so those customers can be prioritized. I makes no sense to have a reservation for 8 and wait in line for an hour till 9 to check in. Otherwise this particular location does a great job. Much better then several others i have rented from.

However, I was over charged. For some reason they changed the rental rate from the $19.95/day plus $0.69/mile that I agreed on, to $89/day inclusive of 100 miles. Having only used 83 miles, I was over charged by approximately $15. Nor was I asked. I've spoken to the 800 number and I'm waiting to hear back from them. Hopefully this will be corrected.

I had to extend my usage of the uhaul and the first customer service rep quoted 30 dollars and a day and then later in the week I was told that was wrong and it was 40 a day.

I originally had a van reserved for pick up at SW 18th and Taylor. When I got there, there was no van, the clerk seemed drunk and would not help me to find my reservation. I asked if he could direct me to another location and could not even do that. I called the 1800 number and was on hold for over 45 min before I gave up. I drove to the St. John UHaul, and they were not able to help be. I them went to the Columbia location, the manager was really helpful and was able to find me a 10 foot box truck. But I damaged the roof, as I reserved the van for a reason. Although the staff at this location were really helpful, my experience with UHaul was terrible.

I arrived at the store to find the trailer I had reserved was not only not available but the reservation was showing a different style than the one I selected. Luckily the next size down was available and did the job I needed to do. The customer behind me was looking for the same trailer (which they had none of) as well. good experience with staff - just disappointed the online reservation set up was not dialed in to what I selected and did not warn me of the lack of inventory.

I returned my truck at the time I had originally chosen, it was close to closing time for them. When they checked the truck in the next morning I was charged for another day of service, around $25. I emailed the contact email provided and didn't hear back. Finally I called the store and seem to have gotten it straightened out but as of now I have 3 separate charges from uhaul on my credit card. Seems like yall are just trying to charge extra and see if people don't notice. Not okay

The young guy that helped check me in was fast and made the check in process very easy... he even made a good suggestion for where to eat after we dropped off the truck to wait out the traffic

While the refueling procedure may be a great way for uhaul to get free gas, it's an inconvenience for the customer. Just send the trucks out full and require them to be filled upon return.

The red headed guy was a jerk. All other employees there were courteous, the red headed guy was not customer aware or customer friendly and demanded that I pay a $25 clean up fee for my truck. That is no way to attract customers.

Based on past experiences with Uhaul this location was better than many. The check out was efficient and quick. The condition of their trucks is another matter. We rented a 15' for a one way move. The cab was filthy which we cleaned ourselves before starting on our trip, windows were dirty, box had not been swept out. The steering was quite loose which I reported upon dropping off.

I had a reservation for 9 am this morning. I arrived to pick up the rental 10 minutes before 9am. There was only one employee and ended up waiting half an hour. This is ridiculous and defeats the whole purpose of making a reservation.

I believe it was just my truck but for a one way rental i expect things to work and most did. However, all three cigarette lighter plugs were inoperative so i was unable to charge my phone while driving. They just seemed to give me an older beat up truck. It ran fine though except for at one time it decided to down shift on its own but i turned off the tow/haul switch and it worked fine after that.

A different system for mobile app renters. It took me an hour this morning to get my van because I couldn't get the padlock to work and had to wait for the store to open. That's the second time I have had trouble with the mobile app system. Going in to do it with the UHaul team is much more efficient in the long run. I really like the location and have already got a van reserved for later this week to complete what I didn't get done this am...

Final cost was very sneaky! I was quoted 19.95 for the day. My final cost was about $70. I was charged $1.00 per mile which is ridiculous! I will not likely rent from U-Haul again, I will probably rent from Penske. However, the equipment from U-Haul was in good order, clean and in nearly new condition.

Parking for customers would be highly beneficial. Signage about where to park without being in way of rental equipment would be helpful. This would assist in carting heavy boxes out to car.

We had a great experience but U-Haul policy to not provide an initial full tank of gas creates problems. It was very hard to judge how to return the truck with the same level of gas. We ended up with more gas in the truck than we received initially. Filling it would have been fair and easier to plan for and the same when returning it. We had less than a quarter of a tank when we picked up the truck so we had to take extra time to go to a station. Mechanically it is better to keep the tank full to keep water condensation out of the gas. Any rental car I have ever rented always comes with a full tank and you know to return it the same way or pay extra. This is not a negative on the actual truck or the rental facility, just a suggestion for corporate U-Haul to improve their customer experience.

The person serving us was very rude and told us he was too busy to help. We had a small wiring problem. The location was to small for our RV. The great news is that when I called to find another location to pickup my uhaul a manager and a very helpful person arrived from another region of Portland and made sure our wiring was repaired in about 20 minutes and respectfully sent us on our way and we only lost one hour. Thank you

This is only related to the app for returning equipment after hours: would be nice if there were fewer verification steps. I believe I received a texted confirmation code, then entered that into the app, but then it still asked me to register for account after that. Basically, someone should go through the UI for that app a bit and see if it can be pared down a little. Otherwise, lovely experience.

I was pretty upset about the fuel situation, I had filled up the truck in Lebanon Oregon to make sure I had a enough gas, received truck at 1/4 tank. When I dropped off the truck I had3/4 tank and got no credit for the extra gas someone else gets to use. Very upset gas cost me $94.00. negative experience with uhaul company

I had rented trucks from this location before and not had any issues and this time they sent me on a one way rental from Portland to eugene with the wrong truck wrong amount of fuel and almost forgot to included pads and dolly which made checking trucks in at eugene location dufficult

College dorm overflow Rather hard intitially to get info and deal with Staff, much stuff. Space was physically awkward to access as place up hight off floor. Expensive for Sq Ft.
