Truck was not at Tulane location. Had to go to St Claude location to pick up the truck. The problem is that poor service in New Orelans will never have any consequences. That's just the way New Orleans works.

I waited over an hour and a half to be helped. I had a reservation but it took almost 2 hours to be in front of line. Then when I told the employee that wait was ridiculous she became rude and raised her voice. I secretly recorded her. I plan on putting on you tube and FB, as this was absolutely the worst I've ever been treated as a customer

The pick up and verification time really slows the process. Creates long lines. This was the second trailer we picked up that day. The first was at a different location and took an hour to get through the line. The manager at this location was pleasant and patient. Staffing at peak times should be increased to provide a better, more efficient customer experience.

Had a 6:30am pick up using smartphone and got to a point where I needed to call for assistance. On hold for over 20min. Store was to open at 7am, but manager did not show up to 8am to open with a dozen customers waiting. This is unacceptable.

Wanda was very professional. She was the only one there, but did her best to take care of the customers. One customer's attitude bothered her, but she professionally asked her to stop. She didn't allow her negativity to be taken out on other customers.

I was not greeted or addressed in any manner by the uhaul staff as I waited for around 20 min to be helped (yes they were working on other reservations but a "we will be with you shortly," would have been appreciated). The process to actually obtain the uhaul took a long time and was worked into my rental time as opposed to my rental time starting after the contract was completed. This caused quite a bit of stress as I ended up having around three hours to use the uhaul as opposed to the four that were expected. When I got into the uhaul, the cabin smelled like a port-a-potty. Not even two miles from the uhaul place, I was pulled over as the uhaul did not have a tag. Is it common practice to rent a vehicle without assuring that there is a tag on it? That is not something that I WAS told to check for or even thought I had to check for. This was overall a poor experience and I will not be renting from this location again.

I made my reservation at The OW LLC 8237 Earhart Blvd. Apparently it was changed to the above location but no one informed me by email or call. The confirmation the day before by phone was for the time, but never mentioned the location change either. That AM, the OW was closed and I waited on hold for over 30 minutes before realizing the location had changed and I had to drive to the new place. Once I arrived, the help was great, but this was really poor service!

Austin’s equipment return process was quite brutal. I felt a little abused by his order barking and hyper analysis of the equipment. I understand and appreciate a thorough review, as I certainly wouldn’t want something overlooked on a truck I later rent. However, Austin’s process was something akin to watching a prisoner intake scene on an episode of Locked Up Abroad. Damned, dude. Scale it back.

My visit was the best ever. I’ve been using your company for years. I was frazzled, undecided and overwhelmed by my last min move. A employee named Ms Wanda was so patient and nurturing. She immediately calmed me down and help me make the best decision. Customer service has truly died but coming into contact with her made me realize it’s still people that enjoy their job and appreciate the customers which in return was the best customer service experience I’ve had in several years. I’ll never forget it and if I know anyone who’s in need of any service your company offers I will definitely refer them. Thank you so much

The key drop box was hard to locate, but after 15 minutes I finally located it. It was a slot in the front entrance door not the orange box in the picture.

I waited almost an hour to get a truck that was supposed to be picked up elsewhere, based on my initial order. The staff was rude, used her personal cell phone to take a picture of the front and back of my license (THIS IS A VIOLATION. WHY ARE YOUR EMPLOYEES SAVING MY DRIVERS LICENSE TO PERSONAL CELLPHONES?), and was just generally unhelpful.

management seems to be running things better than the manager from 2 years ago. the guy who hooks your equipment up.. could use some personality lessons. don't snap at me for disconnecting my trailer. i don't care what your policy is.. you can ask me but you can't demand me not to unhook a trailer. i don't work for you. you work for me.

Easy going, very nice, clean ready to go. One thing a man said at time of drop off that he was waiting for staff to bring him with key to take to another lot a truck.. He told me it was ok to give him my key? He said have a little Faith, I am a Reverand, I do and I put the key in the place I was asked to! Very weird

I waited in line almost two hours to pick up the truck. There was 1 employee working by herself on a Sunday. She had to check everyone in, show vehicles, everything. Terrible. She did the best she could, but poor staffing was the real issue. When it was time to return the truck, the attendant working was rude, not considerate, and was on her cell phone when people are waiting on her. Thoroughly hated this uhaul was experience and if there is ANY other option next time I move, I’m taking it. Moving is already awful and a headache and the staff at uhaul made it 10 times worse.

The girls who work behind the counter are friendly and accommodating. They made sure I had everything I needed for the move. I've used this location to purchase boxes for 2 moves plus rented the truck from there. I'd recommend this location.

Ms. Jide’ Foster was extremely thorough during the inspection of the returning equipment. She noted the damaged finder and non functioning break light on the tow dolly. I connected my boat trailer into the trailer lights plug to test it. All worked. I commend Ms. Foster for her patience and attention to details despite my arrival minutes before closing time.

Completely understaffed. When the van was returned, they ordered us back into the van to do an inspection of the lights - which we certainly did not do on the way out. Overall a very very difficult experience.

Dropped off at midnight. Not the location assigned by U-Haul, but this location was MUCH closer and in the same direction I needed to go to our hotel. U-Haul assigned location was 5 miles further in the opposite direction. Stupid.

I ordered a 10’ and was forced to get a 15’. In town this would not be a problem but having to travel 3 hours away it made a huge difference in gas. They do not give me the 10’ price. I was forced to pay the price of a truck I did not need

On a Saturday there should be more than two employees working. There was a waiting line almost reaching outside the store. It was the most ridiculous thing. We pay money for this and this should be a smooth process. When I returned for the drop one lady working was on her cell phone between two u haul trucks. No one was in the store. The worst store customer service experience I have ever been a part of. I’ve been to other locations in the past and do not recall those store being so unorganized.

This seems to be a busy location, but the customer service is...slow. Even after going through the expedited check-in online before showing up, I was there 35+ minutes, which is a lot of time to just pick up one of your smallest trailers.

The single person doing rentals was very customer friendly thus the line was slow...she did nothing wrong but conversing with every customer & their friends made everything slow. It was annoying to have the online system not work.

Get rid of staff chatting about babies children and a lot of other stuff with other customer in front of me complaining that they have to open up and work by them selves. had 7:00 appointment and did not leave until after 9:00 with wrong trailer for my job not supposed to have rear tail gate supposed to be 6'x12' foot no gate the width of gate opening was 4'8" got to my pick up site in Tibedeux La. And could not make pick up of three wheel Harley Davidson 5' width I teservrdcsv6' trailer with no tail gate and recieved wrong trailer. Lost the customer to another person. Round trip from New Orleans to Tibedeux La.gas used plus paying for my helper Did not make for s good experience.

I love these people at this U-Haul. I don't love all the people at all U-Hauls locations but I love these ones. They are always so nice, so smart and do their jobs so incredibly well. I told her yesterday, I will always have to ask her her name again because it's unusual and I'm getting old. I don't know how to spell it but I think it starts with a G or a J. She should be promoted to president.

I reserved a truck online for the fast pick up and the truck was not ready in time even though I reserved it at 10am for a 5pm pickup, the lady who helped me was wonderful but I still had to wait in line until the customers in front of me were done which ate into my rental time

Very busy location. HIRE MORE EMPLOYEES!!! Those you have are competent and work hard but this situation is very stressful to them and the public. I have rented 5!!!! Units from you this year. I am in the process of leaving them all. Yesterday rented a truck, went 21 miles (10 foot), returned it after refilling with 1.5 gallons of gas..it registered more gas than it Gad to start... still the check in guy ALMOST got away with charging me an additional $7.5!!!

Our boxes had mice chew marks, on every corner of some boxes, after only 3weeks of storage. I'm glad I got my stuff out before more damage was done. Dead mouse in hallway as I was moving out. no bueno

The unit we moved into for storage had oil spilled on the ground and there were definitely rats about as i would see their droppings despite the rat poison containers.
