Should pro rate the storage units when you don't use the full month and the trucks should be worked on the one we had the front end was no good we were lucky we could stop.

The hitch for the car that was provided broke shortly into our trip as we turned a corner. According to our drop off location there were several bolts missing as well. We were provided faulty equipment endangering our vehicle. This is not acceptable.

It's rare these days to receive good customer service, especially due to COVID-19 many of Us are in fear of dealing with normal day-to-day Activities, some just don't care to say the least. My experience with Alex and Kyle was very helpful, we laughed and cried(I did, you would too with those long-distance prices) and laughed again while still trying to give me the best deal.

All rental trucks should start out with at least a quarter tank of gas. My truck had less than 1/4 tank, causing me to have to stop and add more gas before starting my moving project. I was compensated for some of the gas I bought. Other than that, everything else was acceptable.

Fast, friendly service! We needed our trailer hitch to have wiring installed. Eventhough this location did not have our wiring package in stock, they went above and beyond to call around and found another location that did!

I ordered a 10' and on the day of pickup was told there are no 10' available, and changed it to a 15' and also changed the pickup location. I was also charged for the 15' which is totally inappropriate.

Never again....damage goods within one of my storages. I was storing a $10,000 snap-on toolbox among other tools and stuff that was in my garage before relocating...Due to covid 19, I became behind in payments. As we all know once payment is behind they cut your lock off and lock you out of your storage till you are up to date...My problem wasn't being locked out.....My problem started when I paid off my bill and decided to leave. When they cut my lock off, they went into the storage unit and cut across my toolbox with the cut off wheel they used to cut the lock. The other Dewalt stackable storage containers I had in there had signed of attempted forced entry.....never again will I use Uhaul storage.....customer support was great during the storage process and this situation is probably isolated to the individual location....but I refuse to ever go through that again. There are cheaper and more secure locations than Uhaul.

First we went to one location which was our original choice and the worker did not leave the key so we were forced to go to the 3500 Orange location. Pick up was good but dropping off was a joke. The guy outside who was supposed to check us in was to busy working on someone's car in the parking lot right next to the check in spot. I went inside to check out and there was one person who was helping someone and it was along wait so I just walked out. Told the guy outside to just email me my receipt. He told me he placed it on hold cause it wanted to charge me twice. Then 2 days later it still was not processed. I had to call customer service to find out what was going on. She told me someone from the location would call me and I never got a call. Just pure laziness!

Vehicle “cleaned” while I waited despite my resv time. Terrible job of cleaning. Dog hair everywhere. On steering column, on floors and seats. Back of rental vehicle reeked of pet urine. When I returned the vehicle to rental location, the attendant did not even reply/respond to my dissatisfaction with the cleanliness. I had to respond to myself, “I'm sorry sir. That's unacceptable and I do apologize for this”, is what I said to him. “Our blower is broken” is what he finally said to me. After checkout complete a few mins later, no thank you's given. No apologies. Nothing. Complete negligence of customer service and care. I will not be using U-haul again for my future moving needs. Certainly not this location.

One of the car straps for the vehicle tow was broken. I did not notice (as I've never used a vehicle tow) but quickly realised the mistake when I tried to strap my car. I'm a little disappointed nobody noticed, but totally understand it was an honest mistake. Other than that, all was well.

The computers in the office was not working right. It took at least 20 minutes or more to get the paperwork finished for a little trailer rental.

A complete cleaning of the truck would have been nice. The truck was brand new, but the windshield look as if no one ever cleaned it. As soon as I turned into direct sun light I was blinded by a white dirty haze on the glass. Not a good first impression.

This was the worst experience. First my pick up location was changed after I was at the location. Without my knowledge or approval. Because the people at the first location in Orlando had no idea what to do Then I had to leave the vehicle unattended while I went across town to repeat the whole checkout process. This added hours to my rental. I believe the problem here lies with Uhaul and it's disorganized ways. This is an unacceptable way of doing business.

You need to have more people in the office attending to customers. There was only one employee working at the check-in counter. I had to wait for 20 minutes for my appointment which was for 10;30 AM. There were three waiting. I wouldn't mind waiting but during this time of the covid, it is scary for me because being older, this is my first time out in an enclosed building with strangers. Not much hand sanitizer in the bottle which was on the counter. I didn't see any wipe down of counter, etc. after each served customer.

The current crew is excellent. I did complain about one staff person not wearing his mask and whistling as he walked towards me but I returned weekly for 3 weeks and never saw him again so maybe he's gone. In the Covid era it's never to safe. He wasn't speaking to me so he had no reason to whistle. I spoke to him under my mask but he never responded so I don't know his motives. All other staff was friendly and courteous not only to me but to other customers so that's a good thing.

I got there before closing was told that I couldn't unload my U-Haul truck. Then i was promised someone would be there at 630 AM the next morning so I could unload my truck. The lady told me sje couldn't find my reservation, so she took the time i could've been unloading the truck to find the reservation. She then tried to create a new one and told me I wasn't charged until i showed her my banking app that showed the charge. A guy from the back (thank god) came out and had to show her how to use the software to find my reservation. He found where i had been charged and everything. Next morning i get there thinking all i needed was the black card she gave me, come to find out there's a whole check in and check out process that she didn't even tell me about. On top of all of that i was charged for a lock for the door. Then I speak with a new lady who'l told me we had access to our until until 10pm and that there shouldn't have been an issue with us unloading the truck the night before when we got there before 7pm. Then I was told I couldn't leave the U-Haul truck I rented from another LOCAL U-Haul Location because i didn't get a certain type of U-Haul truck reservation and was told "i should've been told this when I made my reservation". There were so many service failures within my experience that Indint plan on keeping my stuff with you all ever again.
