I made a reservation that was cancelled, so when I went to pick up the rental, it took much longer than it needed to. When I tried to drop off the rental, the contactless return errored out. The staff said it has a tendency to do that during business hours.

I called to get an extra day with my u-haul a new agent look up my information and told me $30 would be the extra fee when I called back I was informed that it would be $46 instead of the $30, my call was transferred back and forth Several time from store to service center because no would match the extra fee quoted by new employee, after several transfer I spoke to Michelle at the service center in orlando try to transfer me again I said “No if you can not help me I will just pay the amount or whatever the fees are I do not want to get transferred again she told me she would price the extra day for $30 that I was quoted by the misleading agent, she even told me she would put the note in the system of just being charge the $30 additional fee, I asked to be transfer to manager to explain how I was taken cared of by Michelle to her manager only to drop off the truck and be told the only note she put was the “customer is told the price and understand and agreement”. I was stocked because I told her I would pay the $46 or whatever the fees are so I don't understand why lie!

They were very helpful when I got there and set me up with no problems. I was there 10minutes before they closed and no one was in the office. There were two people waiting there for 2o minutes and they said no one has come out. There is extra money on my bill, I emailed the main office yesterday because there's an hour wait when I called, I'm waiting to hear back

Read the fine print! I needed to extend my trailer rental one day. The per day cost on the contract was $20. They automatically added insurance to the extension (which I didn't need) increasing the amount by 50%. Not happy.

The employees at S orange blossom location are extremely rude . I walked in at 4:40 , they don't close til 5 on Sunday and they basically said they were closed and weren't making reservations, glad I already had 1 . Before I left a man pulled up to return the haul and the workers inside shut off the lights with me inside and locked the door , forcing the man returning the vehicle to return the key to the drop box charging him an extra $20 . The man that checked out my U-Haul kept cursing with me right in front of him because he was mad customers were coming in 20 minutes prior to close and voiced it to every customer in the building ( me & 3 others ) . This is the closest location to my home and I promise you I'll never return

Everything was fine. The vehicle was clean. However the passenger side view mirror needs to be tightened. It kept dropping down and all I could see was the pavement. Receiving attendant was notified on vehicle drop off. Service was exceptional.

the rear light on the trailer was not working. I asked for another one but was told I would have to go back inside to the rental counter. I also was told there were no 5 x 5 trailers left. I asked if someone could fix the light. As that time, one of the guys that worked there walked by and we asked hime to take a look. Luckley he was able to fix the light. In addition, when I dropped of the trailer, the attendant took my cover pin off my hitch which I did not discover until later I the day. Hugh safety hazard. When I one the following day to get my pin, or have UHAUL just replacmentment, they guy at the counter was not helpful at all. He said he had to get a hold of the person that helped me yesterday. I refused to give me a replacement pin. I asked for a manager, and he said one was not available for 30 to 40 minutes. A replacement pin costs a couple of dollars and I could not believe I had to prove to the guy at the counter that is was UHAUL that lost my pin. Even the customer behind me in line said just give him a new pin. I have rented at this location for years, and this was the worst experience I have ever had at.a UHAUL location.

I was told my original reservation was not available; I agreed to a different pick up time and the change was never made. When I went to pick up the reservation (I thought I had) there was no truck for me. Fortunately someone returned the truck (I needed) right before I left. The night staff was unfriendly, not welcoming, like they are there just to do a job. No smiles, no hello, no may I help you. When I arrived to return the truck and started to walk inside I was stopped by a person waving his arms, smoking a cigarette. He told me to wait outside, “there's someone already there.” He did not identify himself in any way, again, no greeting of any kind. He checked-in the truck and did not say “thank you” or anything else. I asked for a receipt and he just pointed to the door and said, “it's printing inside, someone will get it for you.” I will not be recommending this place to my friends and family. I would rather pay more than return here.

I think this location is one of the best! The person in front of me was having trouble understanding how the "credit card hold" worked. I was so very impressed at how patient the U-Haul Employee was. I assume he was a manager but I really don't know. It was the end of the day and it had been a long day. His patience was amazing! I am so happy this is my local U-Haul Location!

The gas gauge in my truck was not accurate. When I left Uhaul , the gauge read 1/2 full. I drove 77 miles and figured that the truck probably got 15 MPG. When I got to the gas station the gauge read 1/4 and I put in 6 gallons of gas which should have brought the gauge back to where I started. Instead, the gauge went up to almost 3/4 full ! I feel a bit cheated.

I am in the hospital with for 3 weeks and the manager called me after I called several times to update them that I was stuck there, he was very disrespectful and screaming curse words in my ear(I have the recording) but I was explained that I had no way to bring it if I was in the hospital and he says "BRING THE FUCKING TRUCK BACK YOU HAD IT FOR A MONTH ALREADY " Then he tells me he called the cops on me like it was my fault I knew I was going to get rushed to emergency room while I was moving.... I use uhaul all the time and They are usually pretty good but this location was by far the WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER..... and I will neverrrrrrrr use them again

Pick up was pretty straight forward but the return? The process of pulling the truck into the “return equipment” line and “leave the keys in the truck” part seemed easy enough but getting a receipt took 3 days and more than 3 hours of collective phone time. My rental return was sitting as checked in but not closed out. I spoke to 4-5 people and everyone said the reason was something different with a customer service agent even calling the location manager and them saying they would process it momentarily..I waited two more days after this. The last agent I spoke to seemed to be able to just go in and close it himself. All in all, it took way more effort than it should have to get a receipt for a truck I returned and they just had sitting on their lot.

Kyle was helpful and switched my unit but there were multiple homeless people very sketchy LIVING inside the units it felt extremely unsafe and it was my last resort as I am moving to Chicago so I felt stuck in a scary situation. The staff at the facility were amazing but when I booked this on the phone to your main phone number. I said I wanted to store a washer and dryer and flooring. I was not told it would be a second level 5 feet off the ground. Also how do you expect people to get their itmes up on to a loading dock from the street level with no other entrance to get in?

The representative Shaquille was great however the experience with the storage rental was horrible. I reserved a storage on 10/26/21 to get there with all of my things on 12/01/21 to not having the reserved storage available and no other storage units available. The representative found me a storage unit after 30 minutes of searching that was smaller than the space I needed. All of my things didn't fit so I have things I have to find some other place to put them. The store unit looks horrible patched up and it doesn't even have a net to cover the top and protect my things. This was a inconvenience to me and my movers.

Upon checking in a few months ago the person who stated he was a manager was so rude to me. I had already filled out everything online and when I Arrived was told I need the name of another person. I don't have one. I'm 100% solo in my life. He was such a jerk about it and yep old me I can't rent here which would have left me stranded with a few belongings. So I made up a name and he said see that's no so hard is it? There's a lot more to it but I'm sure I'm running out of space. I know that we are in a world of being short staffed but respect and courtesy go both ways

To be honest i was a lil upset because online the way you guys label your storage. I had a 1st floor storage Upper level its says not understanding that it meant 2nd floor UPSTAIRS. I had already had a rough day with the Uhaul drinking up so much gas for a 3 1/2 Hour drive spending $110 just in gas and receiving the truck on Empty and all the credit me for gas was $46 something wrong. But the Asst. Manager their was Awesome great customer service, and patience made me feel at easy after a hectic day. I would say he was the M. V. P for me yesterday. Gracias

The plastic curtain where we load or upload merchandise is very annoying, there should be a something to hold it open when we are working. Also the platform to load or upload is much higher the the UHaul, that difference in hight plus the plastic curtain in our way makes it difficult and dangerous to work.

I reserved a unit online. When I arrived I was informed I needed to add additional names and phone numbers to my reservation per unsullied policy. I didn't have a name so the person checking me in said well that's fine we can just cancel this reservation then. I kept telling him I don't have anyone and he said come on everyone has someone. A mom a dad? My parents are deceased and I have no siblings. I do not have anyone that I can put down: your website needs to be clear that you need this info. I ended up making up a name and phone number just to get this guy to back off. It literally almost left me stranded with no where to store my stuff. Yep his was a very stressful and humiliating day xperiemce. No help at all from your manager just a give me a name or we will cancel this reservation.

Excellent experience. The only odd comment would be do you have someone actually living in their storage unit? His unit was close to mine, and he was always plugging in his radio or generator into the hallway wall socket. He had chairs set up inside his unit so he could eat his dinner, and had female friends over who would bang on the outside door, calling his name, and he would open the door to let them in. They sat in his unit with him late at night. Every morning, his unit would be locked and he would be gone. But every evening, his bike would be in the hallway, along with chairs and boxes. His appliances were plugged in and he was eating dinner and listening to music most evenings we were there. Maybe he's the night manager? If he is, a sign posted on his unit or nearby would be helpful so we aren't worried what he is doing could be viewed as suspicious or illegal. It was just an odd experience to see a man literally every time we were there after hours living out of his unit.

Never again....damage goods within one of my storages. I was storing a $10,000 snap-on toolbox among other tools and stuff that was in my garage before relocating...Due to covid 19, I became behind in payments. As we all know once payment is behind they cut your lock off and lock you out of your storage till you are up to date...My problem wasn't being locked out.....My problem started when I paid off my bill and decided to leave. When they cut my lock off, they went into the storage unit and cut across my toolbox with the cut off wheel they used to cut the lock. The other Dewalt stackable storage containers I had in there had signed of attempted forced entry.....never again will I use Uhaul storage.....customer support was great during the storage process and this situation is probably isolated to the individual location....but I refuse to ever go through that again. There are cheaper and more secure locations than Uhaul.

The current crew is excellent. I did complain about one staff person not wearing his mask and whistling as he walked towards me but I returned weekly for 3 weeks and never saw him again so maybe he's gone. In the Covid era it's never to safe. He wasn't speaking to me so he had no reason to whistle. I spoke to him under my mask but he never responded so I don't know his motives. All other staff was friendly and courteous not only to me but to other customers so that's a good thing.

I got there before closing was told that I couldn't unload my U-Haul truck. Then i was promised someone would be there at 630 AM the next morning so I could unload my truck. The lady told me sje couldn't find my reservation, so she took the time i could've been unloading the truck to find the reservation. She then tried to create a new one and told me I wasn't charged until i showed her my banking app that showed the charge. A guy from the back (thank god) came out and had to show her how to use the software to find my reservation. He found where i had been charged and everything. Next morning i get there thinking all i needed was the black card she gave me, come to find out there's a whole check in and check out process that she didn't even tell me about. On top of all of that i was charged for a lock for the door. Then I speak with a new lady who'l told me we had access to our until until 10pm and that there shouldn't have been an issue with us unloading the truck the night before when we got there before 7pm. Then I was told I couldn't leave the U-Haul truck I rented from another LOCAL U-Haul Location because i didn't get a certain type of U-Haul truck reservation and was told "i should've been told this when I made my reservation". There were so many service failures within my experience that Indint plan on keeping my stuff with you all ever again.
