Everything was fine with this location until I received an incorrect invoice. I was charged a wrong drop off location fee, a extra two day fee, and a coverage fee. All of these were incorrect. This was done by an associate there by the name of Zach. I dropped off my rental with the auto transport two days before due date at the correct location with more gas in the tank than when I received it. On top of this, I have to wait forever and a day to speak to a rep to resolve the charge for additional mileage. I was told at the time of reservation that it would only cost $0.40/additional mile. However, I have actually been charged $1.00/additional mile. Pretty exasperating experience. Thankfully, I was able to speak to Zach and he waived each fee except for the mileage fee. Now, I have to hope and pray that I speak to someone soon at UHAUL to get the mileage fee corrected. I may never use UHAUL again after this experience.Taylor H. | First Impressions

The district manager was WONDERFUL at the store, he went above and beyondâ€"-helped us trade the 10' for a 15'â€"-got us back on the road in no time and he fixed EVERYTHING! We rented from another small location in December and had a bad experience, but thought renting from the main one in town would make it better. Wrong! We were supposed to pick up a truck at 6 am with the self checkout on a mobile phone. The truck just wasn't there. We waited on hold for 20 minutes to be that there is only one truck (out of at least 6 on the lot) that can be self checked out, and it just want there. We were told we just had to wait for them to open. The guys were already on the premises and wandering around chatting and smoking and we just had to wait anyway. Then the truck we got at 7 hadn't been swept out and had mouse droppings in it. There was very little care that the online system completely failed and we just had to waste an hour waiting. â€œYeah sorry bout thatâ€ is all we got. A company as big as Uhaul ought to be able to fulfill their commitment or fix it when a mistake happens. They should have been apologizing and getting us a truck, but instead they were taking a pre-work smoke break. Totally unimpressed and will use a different company if ever needed again.Devin D.

I reserved a truck and a storage unit for a 2 bedroom duplex. When we hot there we had the truck. But the storage unit was the size of a closet!! I wanted to cry, because my money is so tight. We had a reservation at 9am. No workers showed up until 9:05am. Instead of having the reserved vehicles ready for pick up, no one could find keys, trucks, and equipment requested. You can make people aware of any mileage travel limits and if there would be charged for over mileage. When I dropped off the uhaul truck, I was charged an additional $317 for mileage. I was not aware of any limited mileage. The charge seems very excessive, had I known this I would have rented it in another town when I had to pick up the furniture.David S.
Didn't have a problem with the location but will never rent from U-Haul again. Moving is stressful and U-Haul makes it worse. They did not have the equipment that I rented available at the agreed upon location and time. In fact the place I was sent to wasn't even open when I was told I could pick up the truck. The wait to get a truck, when I had already reserved it online and gone through all the steps was 45 minutes. This was a huge inconvenience especially when doing something as stressful as moving and when having others waiting on you. They did not seem to be using staff efficiently, contributing to the wait, as at the beginning there was only one person helping the long line. Eventually, more helped but there would be several standing around one station, so multiple employees were helping one customer, slowing down the process significantly.Julie W.

Henry helped us with our rental. He wasn't very friendly and had a hard time communicating the questions needed for the dolly. He seems like he really hates his job. He came outside to help hook up the dolly to our truck and he didn't tighten or whatever our straps so they were dragging down a busy street during rush hour and it could have caused an accident. Also, I'm not sure if this is his fault, but whoever checked in the rentals on 7/24/22 didn't do a good job. Today I received an email saying the dolly was never returned. We had it back before close and left it under the return tent. We weren't informed that we needed to come inside to verify (we said that we weren't sure we'd have it back before close or not) that we had returned it. Terrible experience all around.Timory C.

Customer service is lacking at this location. They didn't check that all of the rented equipment was available or in the truck before leaving us with the truck. Be more clear about your charges. When I first put this on the website I was told it would be about $50. Right now it is up to $63+ and then there's a $12.12 charge on top of that. I have no idea where the extra charges are coming from or why. So definitely be more clear on what you're charging. Also the price per mile: I saw $0.29/mile then $0.39/mile. I don't know what is going on at this location, I just received another notice that a refund was issued to my card for reservation #15131857. How nice that would be if that were my reservation and if it was being sent to a card that belonged to me. I do not know David or Dave Sanders from Everton, MO. His phone number and address are completely different than mine. However I do find it curious that the very same car (Ford Mustang manual transmission) that was being hauled with this reservation #, to a guy named of David Sanders, has a post on marketplace to part out a mustang, in Springfield with the same year make and model. There were issues. Couldn't find the trailer I rented at first - right in front of him. Forgot the dolly. On return they couldn't print a receipt, got a message the next day telling me I needed to return the trailer even though it was returned 3 hours after renting it. I got online to deserve a storage unit. I got a confirmation email indicating the one I wanted would be ready. The next day I went to the U-Haul dealer, and Matthew, who was quite professional throughout this whole situation, indicated that instead of the 10x10 I ordered all they had was 25x5s. Today I went back to get a refund as this would not do. I again talked to Matthew, who was again very professional, and then to his boss Zachary. Zachary said the computer was made to indicate that the unit I wanted was available even if it was not. This is a classic bait and switch, which is highly illegal, and I am considering taking action with the state's attorneys general regarding this matter. I called in advance for a bottom floor storage unit for a one bedroom house and when I got there I got a second floor unit the size of a closet that was the first time I had problems with U-Haul but they fix it it was a mess because they have no elevator to get to the second floor only stairs and I'm a 53-year-old lady. After being advised by the staff that the unit I was looking at would accommodate a 1200 sq ft apt I secure the unit, upon seeing the unit and finding it was no more than a broom closet that was 10' tall. When I went back to the representative for assistance he called the store manager who refused to assist, snapped at me to get off the property that he can refuse service and told me if I did not leave he would call the police for trespassing, when I requested a refund I was told to call corporate that he wasn't refunding me until they made him do so. Upon contacting corporate I was issued refund and never returned but have received emails and a phone call telling me my storage payment is due. Was a great experience, other then the fact my wife and I fealt we were being stalked and watched like we where going to steal something. While moving in two girls in uhaul uniforms where constantly around us. Every time we turned around they where there. I mentioned this to rep who did the turn in on my truck. I was told they where the cleaning staff. He explained what thier jobs are. Honestly, my wife and I didn't appreciate the feeling we where getting. We suffered a loss at our last storage unit. Someone broke in and cleaned it out. It all started by my wife being watched by a couple of people while she was unloading our truck. So we are a bit touchy and suspicious. We started out rocky, as our unit was smaller than what we were told, but we were given extra units that helped immensely!! We were then given an extra month's rental to help. Thank you, staff!!! We really appreciated your kindness!!! Coming from Iowa to Missouri with 27 years worth of accumulated stuff took a while to get to our new home!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! I went with the medium size indoor storage unit. It was the biggest size but after I filled it I didn't have room for some stuff so I just gave that stuff away since I couldn't keep it. I really wish there had been bigger sizes for the indoor climate control units without having to get multiple units…Jamie E. | Online Move In
This rating is no reflection on the facility. I drove 500 miles to move someone and was on a very tight time schedule. I was help hostage by Uhaul because of a system wide computer issue that prevented the rental of storage units. I was delayed a day and required to stay over night incurring unexpected expenses.
