The mobile check in was terrible. We had to talk to more then 8 people. We kept being transferred and we had to call for assistance every step of the way. It was ridiculous and extremely frustrating. We arrived early to retrieve the truck but still was one hour and a half late getting a truck. We had to drive to another location because they did not leave a key for us . Absolutely unacceptable. Our reservation was originally booked for a one way pick up but when confirming the reservation beforehand they said it wasn't possible and our only option was to do pick up and drop off at the same location. I was given no explanation as to why this now wasn't possible. So this was not supposed to be our move day experience and we already had to rearrange plans a day before . We then hit many obstacles the day of because we got our truck extremely late, all on the fault of Uhaul. We had many people waiting on us, who came from 3 hours out of town. I am extremely disappointed. At this point I am very hesitant to ever recommend Uhaul services to others and do not recommend the online check in. For covid purposes we wanted to choose this option. But the hassle it provided on an already stressful day.. it was not worth it. The second location we had to go to, we had to go inside and talk/register with employees so we did not get the benefit of limiting contact with others.Ron F.

My second experience renting Uhaul truck wasn't as good as the first one. I lost 2 hour moving between three locations to finally get my equipment. My location had changed and the second one didn't have the truck it was supposed to have. The third location was great. Overall the experience was ok.valdeir A.

Vehicles should be rented with a full tank of gas. My moving truck only had a quarter tank, last thing I want to do when picking up a vehicle is to go get gas right away.MICHAELG B.

The returning process after hours. The online app was not working. Even when I finally got someone on the phone after an hour standing in the cold, it was not working. There was no box anywhere to drop off the key. The lady on the phone was working with me trying to figure out how to return the key and she finally gave me a combination to a locked box in the front to leave it there. I guess I would say just the returning process after hours needs to be improve and made more user friendly. Put a visible box to return the key, and make the app more user friendly. I am a programmer and it was hard for me to do this. I'm not sure how an older person with not technology knowledge will be able to do this. The lady on the phone was extremely helpful.BELISARIO H.

Make sure the equipment purchased made it into the truck and that if it doesn't that when the customer asks for the charge to get removed from the bill it does and they don't have to call the next day to ask for refunds ;) but all in all staff was really pleasant and very helpful- thank youELEACIA S.

This is my third time renting from here . The condition of vehicle is atrocious as like before . I rented 20 ft truck and requested for low mileage truck, they didn't have any , i was offered 26 ft truck, I took that and it was vibrating all through my drive. The tires are bald with no traction . I think MTO should pass these truck before putting these truck on road to avoid danger to life. When I returned the vehicle the agent told me I should have asked for round Tripp to save $100. Surprisingly I was checked in by the Same agent and it was clearly told that I am returning the vehicle to the same location. I was charged $400 for doing 200 Miles which doesn't make sense. I will be reporting the condition of the vehicle to MTOAMRINDER T.
Employees are very bad image for your company. I don't even want to do business with Uhaul because of the staff at that location.AMMAR Z.

1. Uhail online was down when I tried to pick up the truck. Wasting at least 10 m. Keep getting msg the session had already expired. 2. Was told the truck was parked somewhere in the back. It was time consuming to find the truck as the truck ID was blocked by snow. And when I found the truck it was blocked by parked car. So I had to redo the whole process again. Wasted at least 30 m getting the truck 3. The truck had no washer fluid. Very unsafe. Very hard to drive it during snow. Had to stop and wipe the windshield a few times while driving the truck. 4. When returning the truck I keep getting kick out when trying to do it online. Tried at least 10 times without any success. Finally wait for another 15 to speak to uhaul rep. She showed me how to do it online as well with no success. Eventually I just emailed her the picture of mileage and gas tank. Spent at least 1 hour when returning the truck In general, very bad experience. I m thinking twice renting a uhaul truck. I should be compensated for such inconveniences.SIEKLIE D.

I rented a 6 x 12 Enclosed trailer. From the booking process over the phone to the pick up and drop off, everything was very smooth. No issues at all. The trailer was in excellent condition, nice and clean. The way everything should be! I will definitely be returning to this location!Brad K.

Everything was great until I returned the van. Then a girl at the counter (not the one that looked after me at check in - or ultimately check out) but a girl behind one of the desks - starts saying with a horrible attitude. Did you do this, did you do that - we can't do anything until you do this or do that. It wasn't what she said - it was the condescending tone. To make sure the equipment is available at the time email notification states it is. Also spent far too much time waiting for the employee to have the 'accomodation' price sorted out. Tried charging me full amount and would be re-imbursed at a later date. Very poor customer service. Unfriendly staff also. Giving me the ability to think I can book a one-way trip a month in advance, and then calling me 24 hours before my reservation and stating that the location does not offer one-way trips and regurgitating some scripted response about how I booked a commitment and not the actual truck or whatever when I asked why, is a horrible business model. Acknowledging that I am not actually confirmed for the rental the day before, if the location does not offer one-way trips at all (which is what was communicated to me), there is no reason to give me impression I might be able to book one from that location in advance. It ended up forcing me to leave at 4:30am the next day to return the truck to the original location on-time and costing me $100 more in fuel when I could have gone to a competitor instead if you don't offer that service from that location. In hindsight, I should have left the truck in the middle of nowhere and disputed any additional charges you added for not returning it to Mississauga. Congratulations, I guess I am a sucker. In the event you actually care, as a repeat UHaul customer, I will never use Uhaul again based on this experience.ALEXANDER M.

My vehicle pick up location was changed 4 times. Saturday morning I arrived to pick up the truck for 9am. After waiting in line for half an hour, I was told the truck was not there and had to go to another location on the other side of Mississauga. I received a text from Uhaul after I was told this in person, telling me of the location change. Once at the new location, I had pre-booked 2 dolly's for the move. I was informed that they were all out, and it was a first come, first served thing. Also, booked a one way trip originally, After all of these location changes, we were told we had to bring the truck back to the same location. Overall, very poor customer service, with a lot of wasted time and money. Left a bitter taste in my mouth about Uhaul!FRANCIS W.
