Great people. Nice location and shop. Did not appreciate the loss of room in the truck due to hand truck and moving blankets. I requested a 17 foot truck but because of the extra items in the truck I don't feel I got a full 17 foot truck.Carl A.

the people there are great, however, 1/4 tank of gas to start my rental? i know gas is expensive, however, when i get into a Uhaul, the first thing i dont want to do is put gas in it, but that is exactly what you are asking your customers to do. Seems cheap to me.richard B.

We made a reservation weeks in advance to have our truck ready for the location. When we arrived, we were told that despite our reservation, they did not have a truck for us. After calling around, there was a truck available for us on the opposite side of town. This delay in the process caused us to be late to meet our movers and we were charged with an extra hour from the mover company. What is the point of making a reservation if there is not a guarantee a truck will be available? We will be using a different company for our next move.Kevin G.

Waited, sitting in return land as check-in was moving others units. Watched him drive by in another unit; while he was smoking with windows up. Jumped out to smoke, since it appeared it may take awhile. Check-in came by immediately after lighting it, and wanted me to put it out and jump in. Asked once for a moment since I had waited. Gave me attitude, and said "Fine. I'll send you a receipt." Refused to work with me after that, and just started cleaning the outside of the unit. Would not recommend location after that interaction. Make sure all information on dimensions are present on website. Rented a utility trailer dimensions didn't annotate that the width of the gate was less than the width of the trailer, my cargo was too wide for gate but would fit the trailer width-frustrating!Bob B.
The people were amazing. I was told the van had just been repaired recently and found shattered glass in the rear cargo area that I had to clean out. Also there was something off because the van tended to drift and shake at highway speeds. Upon return the workers were busy handling a slew of customers so I tried to do the online return which did not work because it wouldn't allow me to take a picture of the odometer.Stephen B.
I have 2 problems with my rental experience. First, I tried to make a reservation 3 times in Monument, CO. Each time Uhaul took the reservation but proceeded to move my reservation to Colorado Springs. No, this was not last minute. The last time, it was moved a week in advance. I think that is a poor practice with per mile charges and high gas prices. Second, I felt like Uhaul's new policy of actually contacting a secondary number is obtrusive. It's just bad policy to punish the 98% who do the right thing for the 2% who do not. I have a long history with Uhaul. I do not like this policy. Poor policy by weak management. I wasn't happy about having my storage unit moved. I was glad that I was able to stay at the same location. The movers were nice and very good at reorganizing but the move took 5 hours. Which was 2 hours longer than I was told that it would take. I was disappointed to have my furniture moved because inevitably there was some damage to the wood. Not sure when it happened, either when it was moved in or moved to new space. But every tim I move there is risk of damage, so I hope that I don't have to do this again. I'm glad to have 2 free months, but I hope you don't raise rates on me AGAIN before I move out completely.Laura K. | First Impressions

My uhaul truck was cancelled (due to lack of trucks available) so I couldnt move out before my month renewed. When I moved out 2 days later, I asked if I could get a prorated amount since uhaul cancelled my reservations. I was told to talk to the manager. So I called back several times and was never able to get ahold of Jen. I was told multiple times she would call me back, but never got any call from anyone. The facility was clean amd well kept but communication was non-existent from the manager when I needed help. All the other associates were nice and helpful. It was just frustrating to pay another month of storage when uhaul was the ones who cancelled my move in the first place.Anna A. | Overall Experience

The fact that you won't guarantee a truck or made changes to u-box drop off locations at will was extremely inconvenient for me, especially since I was moving out of state. The U-Haul storage facility was all good but they don't pro-rate the rental so I basically paid $60+ for 1 week. There is zero reasons why they can't pro-rate. I also got different answers from different people about the equipment rentals and pro-rating the storage unit. The gentleman Shawn didn't know what he was doing, kept messing up the account and order, kept us at the facility for hours. I missed other appointments I had per that day, then having to go back and forth purchasing items, retrieving items because he did not know how to set up the account and save it, thus having to redo everything. He showed me the Storage and got plastic pieces stuck it in where it didn't want to lock had to contact someone to fix it. Then I received a phone call 8am to return a trailer I rented at 7pm for 24 hours stating it was over due, the lady that called me simply stated I will extend it and add stuff to my account that made no sense if Shawn and Chris told me the return time was 7pm the following day than to be harassed by someone not only calling my phone but my family members. Then I called back and asked her how did this make sense and she said for I told hold or that she would call me back because she had to assist other customers and never called back! Horrible service, horrible customer service, no military discounts available, waste of time, waste of taxing me everytime to purchase something additional after they forgot to mention a requirement of one item or another. Everyone at this facility was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and caring. Even during change in management didn't prevent the staff from exhibiting a total teamwork mentality. I've found the staff members I interacted with to be knowledgeable and thorough, while being pleased to help by providing all the pertinent information I needed.
