You guys at the location are great but U-Haul is always a pain in the ass. I set a reservation for 8 AM at a different location. Get left a voicemail right before it's too late to call back saying my new reservation is for 3 PM now at this location. Send an email - get a reply at 6 AM saying I can pick up at 10 AM, after I had already pushed all my helpers back to later in the day. Just a mild cluster-f like always. Cheers.DOUGLAS B.
I stopped by just before close to go over the return, but realized I hadn't filled it with gas yet. The guy behind the counter said he'd still be here when I got back, but when I returned, he waved me away, and left. I had problems returning with the phone app, so I was charged an after-hours fee, and the damage that I received the truck was initially charged to me as a damage fee. Everything worked its way out and was refunded once I opened a dispute with UHaul corporate, but Kyle Miller and the folks behind the desk were not very helpful up front. It all could have been avoided with much better desk presence and customer service.Matthew P.
The u-haul pick up location on 1875 E Ridge road was awful. Poor customer service. They gave a truck with a damaged tire. I brought the truck back and they told me to call road side assistance. They didn't even bother to try and find me another truck saying it was out of their hands. I was on hold with customer service for over an hour trying to find another truck while also waiting at the u-haul location for roadside assistance to come fix the tire. I was moving from Rochester To Albany NY over 200 miles. If I was on the highway and the tire blew it would of caused a serious accident. I am very displeased with how they handled the situation.George D.

Was a bit disappointed with my return experience, in particular the fuel gauge piece. The rep attempted to charge me for not returning the rental with the same amount of fuel...literally had to show him a photo I took of the gauge when I signed for the vehicle (was hoping not to need it believing the obvious mere visual inspection would suffice).mike P.

The return after hours app was extremely unfriendly. I worked on it in a dark parking lot, alone and feeling very insecure for over an hour. My primary problem was that I had locked the vehicle and put the key in the drop box. In fact, I had already gone home before I discovered the instructions on my phone. One thing about clean. The inside windshield was filthy, but I gave it a bit of Windex and micro-fiber and it was fine. Everything else about the equipment was excellent. Got the job done.WILLIAM F.

The virtual approval was difficult . I wish I knew they would need multiple contacts to reach out to on my behalf . That was difficult at 5:45 am completely blindsided. Finding the truck was also difficult . Had to stay on hold for 25 mins which made my reservation late. Will never use this againWendi D.

The vehicle I rented broke down 2x and I ended up having to abandon on a major expressway and lost a full day of moving. My 26ft truck was replaced with a 10ft truck that created 3x the work and mileage incurred. .RICHARD L.

I was charged fees that were not explained . I didn't receive a receipt until 2 days later , recent was sent to a different email then what was given. I was charged twice for the same equipment, I called in to address these issues and extra charges an had a guy in customer service answer the phone and blame everything on me an was very rude . His name in my email after he finally sent it said KYLE MILLER. After KYLE MILLER argued with me back and forth instead of listening to my issues I asked him to transfer me to a supervisor he then hung up on my IMMEDIATELY. I have never dealt with this type of disrespect an poor treatment from uhual an it will affect my booking with uhual ever again I was very unhappy with the service I received an would like to speak to someone in a supervisor position ASAP!SHAQUANLEVAR B.

Store employee was great, expedited my mobile checkin process when I had been waiting too long. I rented a 9' van and it smelled of cigarettes and the alignment was off to the point I had to keep it slightly to the left to go straight. Not having power mirrors is also unsafe especially for me im 6'7" tall.Joshua D.

Hey Kevin. Not sure how my experience differs from others but others but I constantly had mice in my unit for almost the full 4 years I was there and they nested in my rug, carpet tiles, packaged tv wall mount hangers, tub/box of hand tools and memorabilia and had feces all over the place that ruined a floor lamp and required me to clean everything I had in storage from my 2 bed apartment. I filed a claim with Joshua Buzi at repwest and they said they would get it to local managers to review. Can you tell me how that is going? I would like to be compensated for the items that were ruined trusting that my possessions would be safe at your location. Its not much. I handled most of the issues with my own sweat equity which was actually very tough and big job that I was not planning on doing. I will wait until I hear back before I review further. The person who helped me when I got the truck was nice, but it was downhill from there. Got in the truck and the entire cab smelled like cat urine. My boyfriend is allergic to cats so the ride was unbearable for him he chose to ride separately. Returned the truck an hour early and made sure there were no messes (swept up back of truck) and accidentally put a little bit more gas in it than when we picked it up but that was my oen fault. Returned the truck and had to call customer service because I wasn't texted a receipt like I said I would be. Then I was charged over $35 for gas even though my original paperwork (when i got keys for truck) showed that I returned the truck with more gas than when I picked it up. Customer service was helpful, but now I am having to wait for a refund for the extra amount I was wrongfully charged. I am not very well ofd and that $35 is a huge amount when I needed it for school supplies for my kids! Had an awful experience!Justina W.

The reason I answered "No" to question #5 is because I found rodent droppings and what appeared to be urine on several of my items all of which I had to discard. I have 2 complaints. 1. I see no reason whatsoever to give an aquaintance's info to you other than advertising. 2. We didn't care much for the HUNDREDS of mouse turds covering the floor. My storage unit was overrun by mice. Anthing that was wrapped in paper was shredded and they urinated on my furniture. So much was ruined. Threats to sell my possessions during the pandemic was a horrible experience, especially after I had spent so much money there. Customer service, terrible. What a horrible attitude. Get another job.
