Improve customer service / satisfaction by reducing long line and wait time to check out. Have more personal in morning to check out rental. Make sure equipment is on site to full rental. Fix the formula in computer system that matches vehicles to tow dolly weight maximum.

I was having an issue with the truck went back to location person that assisted me was busy so he'd ask coworker to help but I stood at counter for 10 minutes watching her count money in the drawer and step away to grab some paperwork so I'd asked if she could stop to help me so that I may get going she snapped said that she was going to to continue what she's doing like I wasn't standing there........

Not enough staff to support customers without an extended wait. Found out after renting that the dropoff location was closed for the holiday, forcing us to drive almost 20miles additional out of our way to return trailer to a location that was open. This cost us most of 90min additional from our already short weekend.

Your app doesn't work, not only on my phone but my tablet too. I tried to do the mobile check in with no success. Returning via mobile would not work beyond taking a dash picture, meanwhile other frustrated people were standing in line to complete return. I've rented your trucks several times in the past 5yrs and voice the same complaint yet nothing has changed.

Took 40 minutes after we submitted our details to pick up a truck as we were waiting for the online “review” to be processed. The truck was parked so close to the building and another truck it was impossible to inspect 2 of the 4 sides of the truck. There was no ramp on the 10 foot truck which we were unaware because again we couldn’t even check because the truck was so close to the building. We are now going to have to rent another truck and take an additional day off of work because there was no ramp and check in took so long.

Our pickup was done online express. When we got to the pick up we waited another 45 mins in line with about 20 other people. The two gentlemen behind the counter did their best to get us out the door. They were very nice and friendly. Maybe have a line for the people who did the online express service? Just a suggestion.

I have rented from this location multiple times. I had a reservation for 3 weeks and when I got there the truck didn’t have keys. You would think by 9:30 am they would have noticed a truck is missing it’s keys and ensure another truck or this truck is ready to go by the time the reservation is there to pick up. I waited almost 2 hours to get a truck. The staff wasn’t apologetic and they made little attempts to fix the situation.

I was scheduled to pickup at 3:30 and my truck, which was reserved WELL in advance, was not there because the previous customer was SCHEDULED to drop it off AT 3:30! This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. We had to wait 45 minutes until they decided to just upgrade us to the next size up and only gave us a $50 credit to make up for the mistake. It made my move to another state extremely stressful and I’m very upset. I was told that the previous customer would be charged our rental cost so we would get a refund for the inconvenience and when I called customer service to confirm they only credited us $50 for the whole ordeal. Very unhappy with this experience.

First off the staff at Ridge Rd, Top Notch, Uhaul corporate not so much. I arrive to pick up my truck and Uhaul corporate changed my price that I agreed to earlier that week, to more than $50, I was transferred 3x to get the issues resolved, the guy on the phone kept telling me that that was the price, but I could see on the computer that Uhaul changed the price, needless to say 1.5 hrs later, they changed the price back to the original. In turn made my arrival time to my final destination till 9:45 at night. Not good service when I had proof of the amount and the staff at the store agreed with the amount. Also the a/c did not work in the truck, 80 degrees outside. The drop off destination was to be Bath NY 14810, we get to that destination to drop off the truck, I went on my phone to update the drop off and they changed the destination to Painted Post NY, 20 miles farther. Again I called customer service, The lady then was amazing and resolved my issue, The drop off location/owner was on vacation at that time, note on the door, Uhaul reservations knew this. So needless to say the experience and hassle was not a good one. I will continue to use the Ridge Road location, due to the amazing staff and location.

I did have an issue with the damage coverage. When I reserved the trailer the coverage was $9 and I did the express checking. Will the express check did not work and the person at the counter had to enter my information like 3 to 4 times and put my credit card in the same. So then he said the damage coverage was $16 and that is all he can check. So not sure why there is 2 different rates. I wasn’t real happy at that point. Mike

Have an express line for truck rental reservation holders and have a salesperson who only handles material sales on the floor;ie boxes, wrap,tape,etc. especially at busy times like 8-10AM and 5-7PM when rentals and returns are more frequent. Wait times too long .

I had to add 10-psi of air to bring the tire psi up to 65-psi. Would another customer, towing a fully loaded trailer have thought to do that? I assume they would have assumed tire pressure was up to the correct pressure when it left your place..

Service was fantastic, both on the reservation phone call and the pickup. The only reason I did not give an overall rating of Excellent is because the window crank was loose and I had to fix it, and both brackets that hold up the visors were broken. One fell out and I could not find it. I did not use the visors, I was just trying to push them up and get them to stay up so they would not block my view. I as not able to completely do that because the hooks were broken.

After filling fuel to 1/2 as requested, I returned unit after hours Sunday.. When I returned Monday to request tax free due to being for our church, I was told this could only be done before the rental. I then found a charge for fuel of $4.50.had been added.. When I assured the clerk it was 1/2 full when I left it, The clerk produced a picture of a dash board showing less than 1/2 full. The picture could not have been of the unit I returned.. I left saying I was NOT a happy customer and would not recommend your outfit to others.

The whole experience was horrid. My location and time was changed which caused my granddaughter to be waiting to move back from college. I asked to have it earlier again. They said they would call if one was available. We live near U haul and saw a trailer was there all morning. The same one we got a 1 pm. I called several times and was told there was a 20 wait to talk to someone. I went inside your store to find NO customers. I called again while in there. Phones were ringing and no employee answered. Once again I got the 20 minute wait recording. Clearly customer service is a joke. I will never recommend you to anyone!

I would like to thank Matthew Hydock Area Field Manager U-Haul Co. of WNY contacted me while driving on the thruway. Informed me that my chains on the trailer were not connected properly. Noted that the hook up at the location did not properly connect the trailer and should of never left the lot like that. Thanks Matt

I had an 11:30 appt for a hitch, it wasn't even started till 1:30. I was done at 2:40. There seemed to be too few employees available.

Online check in was tedious and in the end I was instructed to go inside to get the keys anyways. Once inside, there were no employees to be found, just customers milling around waiting to be helped. Once an employee appeared and it was my turn to be helped, they couldn't find the keys to the truck. Poorly run, poorly organized location

My problem was not the place i picked it at but the confusion with the online reservation. I went on line and found a trailer 5 min from where i live, i set up people to help me as i went to pick this equipment up. i had my confirmation number and location. When i got there they said it was the wrong place and the computer generated the wrong location. I had to drive another 15 min to the next location. So the round trip to get and then return it was a big hassle let alone i had my helpers waiting for me at home. The customer service could have been better but since they figured they did not make the mistake but the computer did it was not there problem. So i payed for 4 hours and used this for 1- 1/2 hours and with the trouble i had i thought they could have done something for me

I had a reservation at 11:15am. I arrived at 10:55am. Two people on line ahead of me, and after 15 minutes in a very hot store, i asked had they been helped yet..answer was no. My friend then went outside to walk around property. He found soneone in a boyt 5 minutes. He came in clearly frustrated. Second employee came in..waves his hand in the air and says its gonna be awhike. Not talking to me or anyone personally. I finally left with my rental at 12pm. I returned at 3..to wait again, horrible customer serrvice..and worker telling me each mile is 99 cenys .not 79 which i was quoted. This store was terrible

The staff is wonderful. Polite, patient and very helpful. The manager Bill, not so much. He has business cards at every counter and yet doesn’t answer calls nor returns messages. Even when he’s at he location he holes himself up in the back and communicates through his employees.

My originally reserved trailer at a different location was not ready ... I was directed to the 1875 Ridge Rd location (which was out of my way), and had to rent a different trailer type. For the past TWO TIMES (once in Jan, and now this time in May), you have failed to have my originally reserved equipment ready. I am a disappointed customer ... what's the point of taking a reservation, if you can't honor it??

Knowledgeable and friendly staff, just not enough of them. No dedicated counter person. Every time I entered the building there was no one there to wait on customers, just other customers waiting for staff. This includes waiting to rent, and returning the rental. Some entered and left without speaking to customers. Expect a 15 to 20 minute wait for any service at least. Nice people, just very scarce.

They sent me out with a trailer missing the necessary documents rings for tying down the load. When I called them they said bring it back they'd give me another trailer. When I got there they didn't have another and just shrugged at the situation. I used it as was and was only able to move a part of my things as a result. When I returned the trailer the service was equally as bad by different employees. I was directed to do their work for them.

I had problem with the Uhaul website when I was checking the truck in. It did not allow my cell phone camera to take a picture of the gas gauge and odometer. I called the Uhaul help number and was finally able to complete the process. There should be an alternate way of completing the check in.

Disappointed in the customer service, the wait time to speak with a customer representative is almost an hour of waiting in the store. The service has drastically declined in the last couple of months.

I rented two trailers in the past week. One on Saturday and one on Wednesday. Saturday it took 57 minutes to pick up a trailer and Wednesday it took 53 minutes. The store is understaffed. I regret to say after years of doing business at this convenient location I have seen customer service decline.

I was never informed my vehicle was ready. I called and THEN got an email stating it was ready. I had an appt for wiring for my trailer hitch. 1. Now my turn signals do not work 2. There are wires hanging all over the place from both o my taillights. I immediately took the vehicle back but because I was not notified until I called that the vehicle was ready the shop is closed. I cannot drive a vehicle with no turn signals and as I drive for work I am out a days pay tomorrow because I do not have a vehicle. I got a ride after i dropped my truck off. Got a ride back tonignt. Need another ride tomorrow whenever the work is done. The workmanship is shoddy, the wires are visible from behind the truck without even looking under. Just hanging loose. Clearly the work was not tested as my turn signals do not work. I need some sort of compensation for this.

I was told by the rep Andrew that I needed to bring the gas tank filled at 3/4 when it was given to me at 1/4 and that I would be credited the difference. Now you are not crediting me back my money which I spent $60 over in gas. I have all my receipts and proof and still nothing has been done. This has been the biggest RIP off I have ever experienced. DO NOT come here.

When returning the equipment it took way too long, the employees seemed not to care about people's time , after about 20 minutes waiting outside at truck return I had to go inside to get someone and it took another 20 minutes to check out overall time for return was 45 minutes, This should have taken less than 15 minutes, Recomend paying more attention to customer service on returns

The driveway has an upgrade. The surge brakes made out impossible to back up the hill... And there was no way to turn off the dam brakes. Driving straight in was the only option. Unloading from the bottom of the hill, and lugging everything up the drive was not pleasant. Please put a lock out an the dam surge brakes.

Go over existing damage to the truck. Instead of just waking around it. For example tell me that the truck may leak because of a crack temporarily fixed by tape. Also determine where the closest drop off point is in relation to my destination. I had to drive 20 minutes away to drop off my truck when there was a uhaul 3 minutes away in the other direction, this caused me to h e to pay over mile fees.

This was a BOUNCY van!!! We drove round trip to Kansas City & back... better when loaded but may need better shocks!!! Also, it got somewhat hot one day and we needed AC, it was not very cooling! Ordered online, ready when we got there, easy return, clean, full tank, refunded the extra day and estimated 100 miles we did not use! So overall pleased with our experience.

When we walked in there were 3 employees no one greated us. We stood there for 25 min while one person just stood there. One person walked by line and went and cleaned bathroom, one waited on customer, other just stood there. I asked can you help us to Molly and she said I'm new I cant and walked away. Then it was our turn and guy that was helping us quick ran through what we needed and just pointed us to were to go and drop key wasn't very clear. I would recommend having folks at least say we will be with you shortly she is training or something. All of us standing in line (4 people) were all like what is going on with these employees.

I was very upset regarding my storage unit. I didn't know that I had to purchase mouse traps or that we had to pay extra for dumpster use. The mice ate through my clothes and futon.

This place was outside, so it was dirty. Whenever it snowed I had a 3 foot snow bank in front of my unit. Called the manger several times. No response. No thanks...

Pros/Cons: Well lighted & clean. But rental fee increased 2x in 1yr! Call center never has the answers to you questions, have to go into the location to get issue fixed. Cnt ever find worker on site.

We made our reservation on line. When we went to pick up the truck and get keys to our storage unit the process was simple and fast. Got great customer service!

Service was lacking in explaining the use of vehicle. Each truck is different. My wipers became loose in a rainstorm. Couldn’t find the lights. Space too short to say how you rushed, were unhelpful.

This location has needlessly sold my goods. I had automatic electronic withdrawal from my ESL account from my deposits of permanent disability. Each month the payments were there.

Make sure you wrap belongings in plastic because rust completely soaked my couch pillows. Not sure if it was the humidity that caused the rust dripping or what other than that the storage is clean

Would recommend. The lighting was very poor in unit. The automatic door didn't work often. Nut they repaired in efficient time. Thank you for service. I was there 26 months .
