I had out door storage and there was a problem with crickets a lot of dead crickets that I had to clean out of the storage I rented. I was not happy about that, but other than that it was a good experience.Cherry B. | Overall Experience
In going through the boxes that I have moved out, I am noticing water damage on a high percentage of them. Not sure if it was from last years winter freeze or what. I did notice a broken board near the ceiling. Looks like I am going to lose at least 50% of the things that I had stored. Management is great and the facility is easily accessible. The location was great. Amd the mobile experience was good but some things that could be improved. I had a CA license so it required extra verification. Wish the app would have told me that ahead of time so I could have provided it from home where I had access to more docs. The best storage facility and staff by far. Everyone was so friendly and professional. Getting my storage was a simple and quick process. All the signage outside the facility says to stay in your vehicle and the staff will come out to you to check in the equipment. Well that certainly didn't happen. No problem going inside but change your signage.Craig W.

The rep who helped me in person at the store was great, but the guy who helped me make my reservation on the phone completely screwed me over. I reserved an open topped utility trailer to be dropped off at the 78737 location, and we even discussed the dimensions of what I was moving and why it couldn't be an enclosed trailer. He told me the only available open topped trailer for a one way trip like that was at a location on the other side of town, but I had no choice so I accepted it. When I got there, I learned he had made the reservation for an enclosed trailer and set the drop off for the downtown location half an hour from where I was supposed to drop it off! I spent extra hours in the car, got the wrong trailer so I couldn't fit everything I needed, and my sister was late to her friend's wedding because of how much longer the trip took with all the extra driving. So ridiculous. I hope y'all have records of who made the reservation for me on the phone because that guy is totally incompetent and I hope he hears how it affects peoples lives when he doesn't care about his job like that.BENJAMIN O.

My van had tons of those "+" claim stickers on it which was annoying and seemed unnecessary. It implied that I was getting a van that had had many scrapes which isn't something I want to think about constantly if I'm renting from U-Haul. And the photos I confirmed at the beginning of the rental aren't sharp enough to make sure that all dents and scratches are accounted for, even if my phone is viewing the images in landscape.PHILLIP T.

Although in hindsight, it's likely my fault for not thinking it though, but, associates could definitely do a better job of notifying customers of flat rate charges and possible additional charges. I was unaware that I only had 100 miles before I would pay extra for each additional mile. I was also unaware that there was an extra charge if the vehicle was returned at a different fuel level. Lastly, I was under the impression that the flate rate to rent a van was 19.99 not 89.99ALBERTO L.

The manager guy on duty was great. We got so lucky someone had left a bike ramp on-site and he took action. We had our Honda in the truck bed and no way to get it off. We didn't even have to ask for help. He saw the situation, mentioned he had the ramp and let us use it to unload the bike. Another save the day opportunity for UHaul. The lady at the counter was a super douche and she totally wanted to make everything seem like my fault. I tried to return the truck but she wouldn't let me. She wanted to make sure that I used your faulty online return service that doesn't actually work at all so that you have a shitty way to charge me another $20. I don't understand why there is a limit as to when I can go to the secured location. When I initially rented i couldn't get there with my first load to store while the facility was open (the office), but came back before the secure area closed the unit they assigned me had a lock on it. The next morning the worker was awesome and helped assign a new unit. I work late so, the timing for the secured units was difficult to work with. I moved from another facility sight unseen because of the website pics and the prices. I was able to order the storage unit online. NO WHERE on the site did it say I would have to wait 30+ minutes to have the unit made ready upon arrival. NO WHERE when making the reservation for the unit did it show a photo pf the actual unit. I was HIGHLY disappointed. The staff is miserable, unfriendly, and has zero idea on how to staff properly or communicate with customers. From the initial signing of the paperwork and getting the card access thingy to the final call to confirm I had a zero balance and was moved out, this location is subpar. I've been inside the office 6 times total and every time there was a line of customers, no one greeting people, and staff unhappy. Once an employee (with a neon green and blue wig on) was cussing in the store to another employee. Its the closest Uhaul for rentals for our company so we will keep coming back for that... I went to my unit 24 hours after signing the paperwork and there was a little green lock on my unit. Mean while I have a truck full off stuff to put in my unit, it’s getting dark and I have to deal with a lock on my unit the first day I signed the contract. Not cool, not convenient.
