The guy working the desk spent more time on his iPhone than trying to attend to my needs. When I finally got a 10x10 until it was one with 3x3 of it taken up by a internal metal tube taking up a very large space of my alleged 10x10 rental area. There was also a large human feces in the unit itself, one I reported and asked to have removed. I've no idea if this has been done due to the employees disinterest in his job and fascination in his iPhone tiq toq or. Whatever kept his attention more important than me as a customer.

Everything sucked. From picking up the vehicle, which I flew 1000 miles to do, to find out my reservation was cancelled two hours prior to my pickup. Up until the fact i couldn't be accommodated a new reservation anywhere that night. Went out of our way the next day, got 1/4th of taxes compensation from what we went through (a joke), and even upon return there was a mix up with the price. Horrible. Never will use Uhaul again.

This has been thee worst experience I had ever had with a Professional business. First, I booked a Truck for ‘26 ft at the Juniata location, they call me later on that day to say they don't have that size and I would have to go to the strawberry mansion location. I agreed. The day before I was suppose to pick up a truck I check my email at 7:08pm and it tells me that I am getting a 20' truck and I have to pick it up from south Philly location. I had to call customer service because it was after hours and they could not help me. Meaning I would have to wait the next day and call them at 9am. Which delayed me moving. I called and they could not accommodate me what do ever. I told them this was a huge inconvenience especially when I am paying movers by the hour, picking the truck up from Douth philly is adding more miles on that I didn't except to pay for. When I pick up my truck it was dirty. And didn't have any gas in it. So, Guess what I had to go to the Nearest gas station to fill it up another inconvenience!!!!!! I would never recommend Uhaul to anyone!!!!! Try other business don't even waste your time!!!!!

Worst uhaul experience I have ever had. 2 hours to get a trailer. 5 associates working, only 2 knew how to do anything, so every customer had to wait for the two to help. No system of prioritizing who was next, just back and forth between waiting customers helping whoever pushed to the front. My trailer wasn't available, no solution offered until I went into yard and found 2 equivalent options and then had to wait while they figured out how to move my reservation, hook me up and check me out. Tail lights on trailer never worked but I didn't notice until it got dark so I drove 2 hours without lights, just brakes and blinkers worked. Kid who tried to help me was nice, but had no idea how to do ANYTHING. He had no help, no management to support him, and I paid the price of 2 hours for a simple trailer rental that should have taken 10 minutes.

Worked well for what I needed. I unloaded ink es for storage and then loaded them again for a move. U-Haul box location isn't convenient for the storage area, but I'm not sure how common it is to unload the crates into a regular storage unit. Seems like there should be a way to make this process more convenient for the customer. I realize it's a warehouse, and mice are common but my belongings had mouse feces and urine all over it. You might want to treat the area. Staff seems happy and very helpful, although always very busy and wait times were long.

We had to reschedule to rent from this location in Philadelphia after we had serious problems with the Wildwood NJ location. We were originally scheduled to rent from Ed's Citgo in Wildwood. Ed was the most miserable, disrespectful, incompetent, angry individual we have ever dealt with. Really quite shocking. You should not be letting Ed represent U-Haul.

First your software to initiate the rental is terrible. Impossible to use on iPhone or desktop. I had to cancel my first attempt because the software added extra stuff (the old prechecked items trick) and there was no way to modify the contract. Finally called a person who was helpful and guaranteed a location which was of course changed to a more inconvenient one. The employee at U-Haul was incompetent with attitude. Spacey forgot to give me the key. Return was equally bad. Forced to use the after hours return app even though I returned the truck a 3 pm. I will never use U-Haul again and will spread the word you are terrible

U-Haul needs to do a better job about notifying customers that their pick-up location can change last-minute. We unexpectedly had to drive 35 minutes to a location to pick up (and drop off) different than what our initial booking indicated. Didn't receive any sort of update regarding the change - I just noticed it changed when it came time to check in the night before. Very frustrating.

I must say that this was the worst experience renting a U-haul, from start to finish. First time ever getting from this location and I would not use them again. 1 person working, this is no reflection on the gentlemen behind the counter, he did very well under pressure with people getting tired of waiting. I think this is on the Manager or U-Haul themselves, they should know how many rentals they have and staff accordingly. It took us almost an hour to get through the process, that needs to be reworked. Not everyone has a smart phone and having to walk all around the truck and take pictures, is crazy. I do understand why that is but a little harder for us people are not great with electronics. Brining the van back someone told us they we had to do it via a text, which I never got after waiting more than 10 minutes, I just left the key and left.

A dead rodent and rodent droppings were found all over my storage unit. When i mentioned it, the staffperson swept up the dead rodent but refused to sweep the open space, then was rude and uncooperative. A claim nor an followup took place the day of the incident. Didnt get a call back. Had to call back multille times before claim was opened - amd still never received any feedback about the claim. I ended my strage contract sooner than I wanted to because of this.

The front desk officer was not helpful at making the process smoother. The storage unit was difficult to access. It took us a long time to get in the unit and then found out the unit we were assigned to was locked… so we had to wait to be reassigned another unit which was more expensive since it was the only one available left. The overall experience was inconvenient.

Shortly after I moved in 6years ago there was construction done on the building and my unit was a mess had to make an insurance claim to get my unit cleaned. Lighting was no and off in my area. Also when I moved out this weekend, the unit was all dusty again and climate control thermostat INSIDE the building was 80 degrees...outside temperature was in the 60's

After leaving the customer service area, I forgot to inquire about moving the due date to the 21st of the month. So, when I called back after returning back to my house. I called U-thul, I was put on hold for a couple of minutes, and the customer service representative answered the phone. This young man had an accent voice. I said to him that I just left the customer service area with my son and I wanted to move the due date back to the 21st of the month. He said to me that I would have to pay another month's rent in order to change the due date. I told him never mind and I hung up the phone.

We want to thank Andrew Yogboh for being a huge help in finding the best size unit and most convenient location for us. Andrew was friendly, patient and answered all of our questions and requests. Andrew went out of his way to make sure our unit was ready and clean for our move in. He was very professional at all times and very efficient with our time. The young lady that helped me, went above and Beyond to make Sure Everything went smooth. In was. Sent. From an other facility that had my reservation but was sold out of units. The quartermaster facility was able to Accommodate me at the last minute and they were very helpful.

Janjay Jackson was extremely nice and helpful. There were two other employees that were incredibly helpful as well. I am going through a rough situation right now- I was evicted from my apartment during this pandemic which caused a great deal of anxiety but when I left the storage unit I felt relieved and accommodated! They all were great!
