I am very dissatisfied with billing. I had to extend the rental the day of my rental, which I was able to do after sitting on hold. Then I ended up being charged double and am having difficulty disputing the charges. Very dissatisfied and will think twice before renting from uhaul againBenjamin S.
The workers gave my truck to the wrong person. Waited over an hour for them to finally give me another truck to use. You can improve by being organized and knowing what is going on.paul H.
Location opened at 9am but no one from uHaul showed until 9:15am. Van provided needed oil change, ABS braking light issue, Traction control stabilization issue. Van was supposed to be ready for mobile pickup at 8am and was not, had to pick up in person and not until 930am. Location was changed on me without a call. Entire experience was a fail on part of uHaul. Will not rent with this company again. The gentlemen that did help me at this location was friendly, apologetic and knowledgeable. Fuel service fees are unacceptable and were not communicated to me. I drove the U-Haul 5 miles total and was charged a $30 fuel service fee; that's ridiculous and I won't be using your company again.ERIC W.

I'm very disappoint it in the service that I received after my return of the truck because, While I was trying to use the ramp and it had a Malfunction and did not work properly but with my return of your truck, I put it in the return Equipment lane and was told by one of your employees that I use 18 miles out of the Estimated 20 miles while talking really fast. I only used 11.9 miles. I'm really pissed off right now and I'll be Contacting corporate on Monday. To think that some would be trained to take money from me to make the company extra money is nothing that I will Tolerate. There are two things that U-Haul could improve on: 1.) Training call center agents with the right auto part ordering knowledge. One of your agents placed an order for a wrong part (trailer hitch) that resulted in delay 2.) Training your technicians well so that they are able to work on different third-party parts. One of your trailer hitch technicians at 222 N POINT BLVD, DUNDALK, MD location said that the dealer gave me a wrong hitch and he was unable to install, but when I went back to the dealer, they installed that very same hitch on my car in less than 2 hours.Ankur M.

Because we arrived after hours because of the lost truck, we tried the after hours drop using their app. It wouldn't accept the photos of the odometer and fuel gauge. At this point I'm done with U-Haul so I lock the doors and put the key in one of the boxes. They called the next day to inquire about the key and seemed friendly and competent. I have used U-Haul many times in the past but never more since they can't seem to get the basics right anymore.KENNETH W.

We went under the mileage we pre-paid for, and they were supposed to refund us $93 for our final rental amount when we returned the truck. However, instead they charged us $93. They did the same thing for items we bought but didn't end up using, so we returned them. Instead of refunding us the money for the items, they charged us for them again. They didn't understand what they did wrong despite us trying to explain and break down the false charges, so we had to leave the location having been overcharged more than $200 and wait for it to be resolved by a manager who wasn't at the location during that time. It was an incredibly stressful and frustrating experience. We are still waiting for some of our money to be returned 5 days after the fact.Jocelyn N B.

Not sure what's going on but moved my stuff out on may 1, 2021 got a call about 10 later stating they put a lock on my door and I would have to coming into the office and pick up a key and I will be charged accordingly which didn't make sense since I already had all my belongings out of the storage. This whole experience was just bad when I got to Maryland where I was supposed to get my original storage gave it away. I was accused of losing the U-Haul key which I had no idea what they was talkin about but once again there was a telephone call stating that they will be charged me for a uhaul key. When I moved in I paid for the 24/7 access hours. There was no light hanging up in the back area where my storage locker was located. I could barely see what was in my storage locker during the day and couldn't see anything at night. The ceiling broke apart over my locker a month into my storage and ruined half of the items in my storage locker. I was partially replaced a couple months later but it was a patch job. Rat's got into my locker and defecated everywhere (There was nothing edible in my locker but I believe the locker next to me had something in it). The solution to all of this was somebody throwing a tarp, bucket and ladder over the top of my locker. I am absolutely disgusted with my experience at this facility. I paid for a locker that was not serviceable and the result was half of my property getting covered in rat poop, dust and ceiling debris. I emailed the manager about this (And got no response). I also confronted employees and him in person but nothing was immediately done to help me. None of the employees/the manager were rude but nothing was done to help me.
