The staff at Pleasant Hill was terrible. No social kills. The store is being ran by a bunch of young kids that could care less. I made a reservation online 2 weeks in advance and I didn't get none of what was promised. I was told my storage wasn't 1st floor access, it wasn't climate controlled, I did not earn the 1st month free, I did not get a lock free. Whoever you had working Sunday 1/23 were not knowledgeable of the info being promised online. They were all very unprofessional and condescending. If I wasn't moving my moms things and needed the storage right then I would have left. I'm very very very disappointed and unsatisfied. The vehicle 26 foot truck, needed serious maintenance, It ran rough as if it had Transmission or Engine problems, I wasn't sure it would climb the slighest incline hill or overpass.LOUIS P.

This was by far the worst U haul vehicle I have rented. Seat was torn. Door handle was broken which resulted in several cuts on my hand. I showed it to the person receiving the return but he did not care. Even the side mirrors were in poor inoperable condition with tissue paper inserted to keep it together. I used the truck for 6 hrs and on return I completed the online return link using the www. uhaul.com/share as suggested. (Mind you the sign there says 24hrs). I was surprised to see a charge of 3days on my card and $42 insurance charge which I had declined.MARK T.
I felt lucky to have found this location! Having visited several storage competitors and other UHaul truck rental sites I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness, the personable and professional staff, and their assistive approach. Get rid of the guy who was working on the morning of 12.22.21. He seems to have never heard of customer service skills at all. He made no apology for the fact there were no moving blankets available (which I had requested) and in fact said, "There's nothing I can do about it." While I'm sure that's true, any degree of concern or care would have been a great improvement. By contrast, Aaron and Cesar were very nice and are a great example of wonderful service. They were both friendly and helpful!Laura C.

Be educated on the cars, it took about 5 minutes for him to find my car in the system after repeatedly stating what it was. Also check before u call someone to see if the equipment has been returned because it makes you look incompetent.Alanna D.

The 6x12 trailer I had reserved was not available so they gave ne an 5x8 which was as close as they had. It was dirty on the inside so I asked them to clean it before I took it. Drove 106 miles to my storage unit in south Ga. and the bed I went to get wouldn't fit. Drove it back another 106 miles to uhaul and returned it. Had to reserve a 6x12 again for 12/24 and have to repeat the trip again and return on Christmas dayMITCHELL B.

Too bad the staff that attends, when I made the refund they did not apply it to the system and of $ 47 that I had to pay they charged me $ 238 and an additional $ 35 that the bank charged me for overdraft, terrible service by the worker talking on the cell phone made the mistake, and the clients are the ones who have to pay for these mistakes. Customer service at the call center was horrible. I called on Saturday evening and spoke with Juan to extend my rental until next day. Juan was rude and stated he could not extend and I needed to return immediately. I advised him I could not return due I was in the middle of something and could not return and I needed it until tomorrow. He rudely said again to return the pick up truck right now. I hung up and called right back and got sweet Shyanne. She was able to extend for me. I could not understand why Juan was rude and said he couldn't extend.KENDRA M.

This is not about this particular location however, I originally booked my rental truck from Your Extra Attic because it was 2 blocks away from my destination. I come to find out, 4 hours ahead of my pickup, that Uhaul changes my pickup location, 30 minutes away from my booking location. BAD form!!! I book this location because I am time crunched for the pickup (in between theatre performances) and then during the show, I get the email. Really not happy!!TRACI D.

Staff was very slow. I understand some staff members were being trained but the pace of work was excruciating - I had to wait an hour to get moved into my storage unit after having made a reservation online with all necessary information. This was with no line and only 2-3 other customers for the entire time, and then was sold a lock that cost $15 that was not the typical lock used. Other lock and key locks only cost $5 or less by the front desk worker recommended the most expensive one that wasn't even secure.Alice C. | First Impressions
