Better after closing lighting and security. It was pretty uncomfortable having to return the vehicle and spend time taking pictures for the process on site in the dark. ??

The overall rent process was smooth and easy. Scott who was at the desk was very helpful. He even helped me fix a issue in the bill due to a mistake made by me. Definitely recommend to all.

I picked up a trailer to tow a car and a he pickup process was decent. The return process was a different story. I went to return the trailer and waited inside for about 10 minutes (without anyone employees around) then when we did find an employee we were told to hold on and he continued to eat his food. When The employee finally came inside I was greeted but rathe just a “who’s next question “. When I informed the employee that lug nuts were loose on the trailer I was told they can’t check them, they can install a hitch but not validate torque? My entire review was based on returning the trailer and not the pickup which was great.

I rented a unit from this storge facility for a about a year, everyone was always willing to help me, I always received a phone call and a email from them for reminders about when I needed to make a payment, all in all I never had a problem, of I ever was in the area I was always able to access my unit no matter what.

I probably wouldn't recommend this specific U Haul location. We rented a truck with a dolly and blankets but never got them. Had to go back to get them (ended up cancelling the blanket order). Staff isn't very friendly and they look like they would rather be getting a tooth pulled than working there. The truck seemed very old and kind of a rough ride. Thank you

I started out a bit frustrated because I signed up for mobile checkin and when I got there, the truck that I was assigned to was driving out of the lot. I walked around the lot looking for the truck to be sure I wasn’t mistaken. Then I had to go inside and wait to talk with someone. I was given a different truck and it turned out perfectly fine. Everyone was very pleasant and the truck was great. The mobile checkout process went very smooth. Thank you!

Two main problems: (1) Took 30 mins to be waited on. There were maybe three people working and three customers waiting. Only ONE person was servicing customers, one at a time, doing every step including running outside to hook up trailers. The other two people working were useless. (Failure in management, need better manager) (2) The attendant working with customers appeared to be under the influence of drugs. He was asking inappropriate questions to customers. He was not communicating to customers what he needed. He forgot to tighten the ball screw clamp on the trailer! Even when asked to communicate so we could team together, he developed a snotty attitude. (Failure in employee, need to let employee go)

It was tight pulling in and no one told me I had to get the truck in a return line to check out. Guy outside wasn't directing people well. They are a great location & have lots of inventory, clean courteous.

Shane Klier was extremely professional, and very helpful with my 17” Uhaul truck rental. Took care of any and all my questions quick and precise. I enjoyed his canter and fun humor at pickup and drop off! I will definitely be coming back just because of his dedication and speed.

The staff does not seem to have much motivation and they take their time during every step of the process. The gentleman at the desk was eating when I was trying to pick up my rental that I had reserved online, the drop off person was concerned about his car in the parking lot while I was trying to return the truck.

When your location gives a quote based on known factors, do not try to over charge the customer by 61% on return of equipment, it won’t work and results in lack of trust and desire to rent again. To be fair, the location General manager after reflection, agreed to the original quotation. DF

We picked up the truck at 11am on Saturday morning, February 8th It was a local rental drove it less than 75 miles and dropped it off in south NASHUA at 4:30pm on Sunday February 9th. We had the vehicle for less than 24 hours we were charged for 4 days of rental, 4 days of insurance and four days of blanket rental.

I ordered online and selected the mobile pickup option. When I got to u-haul, I followed the instructions then went inside to get my key. The woman at the counter took my phone, clicked through the last few screens without showing me, and told me I was all set. I asked if they needed to come out to check miles and was told no. I took a photo of the mileage when before I left. Good thing I did! When I returned the u-haul the next day (less than 24 hours later), they tried to tell me that I had driven 512 miles. I explained what happened and was told I signed the rents agreement when I picked up and that it had been up to me to make sure the mileage matched. Apparently, the woman working the day before accepted without checking or telling me. Because the time on my photo matched when I picked up, they charged me for the correct number of miles, which was 30. Definitely not 512. It definitely made me reconsider using this location in the future.

I’ve never rented a moving truck before, and I didn’t realize that self pick up meant pick up using your phone without the clerk. So I got there at 8:00 AM as my time said and it was closed due to New Year’s day hours. I came back later when they opened and the man behind the desk laughed at me because I didn’t understand which I did not appreciate. With every question that I had about the process he continued to make me feel pretty stupid as if I should’ve known these answers. After finally getting my moving truck and leaving and get to my location, I then realized he never gave me the dolly that I rented. That’s partly my fault because I didn’t check, but I was just trying to leave because I was embarrassed at how dumb he made me feel. So I had to drive all the way back, which caused me to get a fee after returning the vehicle. Overall not a great experience I will go elsewhere in the future, and never recommend this place.

The storage unit was clean and the area was well lit. The one negative was the steep stairs leading up to the unit. The rental price was reasonable. Would rent again.
