The people at both pickup locations where great Polite and friendly and professional The only issue I have is with a couple of your company's policies First when I give multiple days notice about reservation and with the prices I pay I shouldn't have to go to different locations to pickup my equipment Second the location I wanted to dropoff wasn't even listed as a location in your system. It's weird that I paid $90 for a truck to go up and down three times only 6 mins away from each other. I was charged an additional $40. He said I went over the mileage and it's weird because I only drove 3 miles at least 4 times. I paid for the truck. However I thought that mileage did not matter only the time spent. How can I go from $45 to almost $90? Please I want to get an understanding.Christopher L.

Truck (retired) was very difficult to ride and drive at Hugh way speeds. 200k miles and lots of damage. Check engine was on. Shook. Should only be for local use. But this a replacement for 20ft that was unavailable. My estimated mileage was over 150 miles.Paul C.

The person who checked us in seemed to cop a bit of an attitude and told us there was nothing in the computer for us, despite us having visited the location a week prior and having it confirmed. I couldn't have asked for better service. RJ in particular was my man. He was very professional and helpful all of the time. Earlier in my storage days, I was in a U-Haul out in the country in Lee's Summit area. The Independence storage was hands down the best experience. Getting truck was ok, but brining it back was disappointing. I drove up and waited like the sign says, but after about 5-7 minutes I decided to go inside and there was three guys playing on their phones lying on top of the boxes inside. The wrong hitch was installed. The U Haul website is terrible. Very little information. Hard to navigate. A 1 1/2â€ receiver hitch was installed. I need a 2â€ hitch. I want it changed. By the way it took 35 minutes to get through to a corporate help center. It took the help center person to try the store in Independence Mo. Noland rd. Location. twenty minutes . No answer from store. Call center left a memo on store Mgr's computer to call me. No call! I want this hitch changed over to 2â€ hitch. Thank you.Dale S.

I needed this large size truck in a hurry because of several closing delays however, truck had dent damages and was not completely clean inside cab on passenger side(mostly crumbs, and dolly was not secured completely) . My trip to storage was 1 block so it was not a huge issue. We had storms and truck leaked water on my leather furniture, we had to stop loading and repair leak to prevent further damages throughout night. This was truck issue, I've never had issues with uhaul before. Today , I will go through and see how much water damage I actually had, we unloaded all day yesterday. ThanksDeborah S.

We were only allowed to rent the equipment for 48 hour. Extended rental was offered but after speaking to store they would not let us.Orlando C.
Staff was very rude to customers and lacked knowledge on the entire rental process. I asked questions and got shoulder shrugs. The girl at the desk asked a man sitting in the office on the computer for help with my reservation and his response was â€œno.â€ She had to ask him 3 times to come help. Once outside, I ended up having to pick up the trailer and attach it to my vehicle by myself. Also, although I completed the online check in, my rental process took over 35 minutes.Amber Ashley S.
