I was charged a $20 fee for bringing it in â€œafter hoursâ€. I dropped it off at 7pm on the dot. Everyone was gone so I parked and locked the truck and dropped the key in the mail slot in the door. Fast forward the next day, I received a $20 charge. I was never informed of this at all when being read through the contract. Called to see what could be done, the girl who answered the phone was completely unhelpful and clearly did not care. She was argumentative and rude. I've been renting trucks here for years. You just lost a steady customer due to poor customer service and nickel and diming.ROBERT G.

The truck had an odor of smoke and a cigarette burn on the passenger seat despite the no smoking sti kers on the windows. Steering wheel was old and peeling/crumbling making it semi uncomfortable.Erik G.
The truck I had rented was in rough condition. The truck was driven 10 miles loaded and then broke down in the middle of the road. After waiting 4 hours a mechanic finally showed up and realized it was the fuel pump immediately. It seems very unlikely this was not a known issue in this truck. The truck could have broken down and stopped running for me in the middle of the interstate, I just got lucky I had not gotten to the interstate yet. Don't rent out trucks with known mechanical issues. Don't make customers wait 4 hours for a mechanic to arrive to fix your truck. Also when trying to figure out how to get our stuff back the customer service person actually asked if I wanted a replacement truck and reminded me that the truck was due back at 9:15 that night, this was after me waiting 4 hours for the mechanic and still having no working truck, not quite the customer service I would expect in this case.GREGORY H.

The exterior windshield was not cleaned, it had lots of bugs and dirt dried on from recent rain and wind. The interior windshield had some type of spray dried on and difficult to see in the sun. I had to stop and clean both sides. The truck and trailer were not at the location identified and I had to travel 45 minutes to get the truck and then another 40 minutes to get the 6 x 12 trailer.Timothy G.

The staff is phenomenal! Very helpful and polite. But the storage units that I had were falling apart. I used this facility some years ago and it was very clean and dry. That's what made me come back, but this last time was definitely different. The ceilings in the units are peeling and leaking, my things were damp and pieces were all over. I received the truck with audiometer having a wrong reading on it (79642, while the paper mentioned 79612), 30 miles difference. I figured that out after I took my vehicle and left the facility. I already informed the customer agent at location that I'm going to use only 20 mileage total for the whole trip. When I called the customer service to Discuss this issue, she did not seem willing to investigate it further or double check with the agent at location where I rented the truck from. I ended up paint 20$ extra money for extra-mileage I did not use.HANY S.

Other than the drop off everything was fine. I was not totally sure where to leave the van. We left it behind a truck someone else returned initially. He didn't know what to do either. Then my husband put it in a parking spot. This online drop off is pretty involved, more so than I thought it would be & my phone didn't want to bring up your site at all. Also, there were no actual instructions where to go on the site to return. The kid told me to go all the way down on the site page & there would be a return link & there wasn't one there. It took some messing around for me to figure it out. It's good that I am somewhat computer savvy. Otherwise I would not have been able to figure it out!!! I don't have an account with UHAUL, nor do I want one or to create one. You need to put a link at the TOP of the homepage for night returns & make it simpler.KATHRYN B.
