Called in a reservation for an appliance dolly, it took the clerk half an hour to figure it was an appliance dolly not a towing dolly. Then, when I tried to pay their card reader wasn't working but the clerk managed to charge me, 1 hr later finally I was heading out. Came back next day to return it and the clerk took her time to finally take care of my return went through it and she said it was returned. Then on Tuesday some called me asking for me to return it! Explained to the caller I have returned it the next day on Sunday before noon. She was shocked with my answer and almost wanted for me to swear by God I did. As a cherry on top today, I get an email from uhaul collections because they said I didn't pay! Seriously? I'm a doctor, I'm not going to runaway for less than 11 dollars! Worst experience ever by far!FELIPE C.

The location was fine but the vehicle was not cleaned and or DISINFECTED ESPECIALLY DUE TO COVID PRECAUTIONS; we were made to wear a mask inside the building but the vehicle was not cleaned or maintained? Makes no sense. The truck air conditioning went out and I drove for 6 hours without cold air. I called uhaul early in the drive and was told it would be â€œmultiple hoursâ€ so I kept going. An hour before I was going to stop I called the uhaul roadside assistance and it still took 6 hours until it was repaired. I had to stay awake late (11 pm) in order to wait for the repairman to finish before getting up early the next day and driving another 12 hours.Brian D.

I rented this 6Ã-12 trailer to transport a small Bobcat loader. Unfortunately the trailer opening did NOT accommodate my 5.5 ft wide needs. I was also required to purchase an adapter for the trailer lights. But once I realized your trailer wouldn't work for me, I had to rent a different trailer for twice the price. But hallelujah, it didn't need an adapter. The money I spent at Uhaul was a 100% waste because you advertised a 6Ã-12 trailer with ramp. And your owner/agent could not have cared less. Way to go Samantha! You just got another F in customer service.MATTHEW H.

Rented a tow dolly for my Sons Jeep. The front tires did not fit within the wells. I was offered two options. Go with it or upgrade to a car hauler. I was ready for the upgrade but there was no one to help us load the Jeep. I was stuck with a front tire half in the well and half on the fender from Corpus to Galveston.Allan B.

I was charged for something that was not my fault..! Uhaul representatives made errors on my reservation. Other representatives tried to correct the errors with equipment I could not use, and did not reserve. The associates were very nice and checked my equipment in quickly. However the organization of the lot was horrible. There wasn't a space to pull in and unhook the trailer we rented and they had to move two vehicles so we had a space to leave the lot. We were the only ones there on a Sunday and there could have been plenty of space for customers if the lot was organized better.Whitney E.

I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone. My moving experience was horrific. I had a reservation to pick up a truck at 1:30 PM. I called U-Haul to let them know I was running a few minutes late to pick up the truck, but I knew the facility was open until five. It was only at that moment during the call, that I was told that my reservation was changed to a completely different location which closed at 1:30. I was never notified In any method that this had happened. If I had not of called, I would not have known. I thought this was the poorest of service that anyone could think of. To begin with the area is not well marked to know where to access the locker. Then it said street access on the website but its up a flight of stairs . Sooo to get to my locker its up a flight if stairs take 5 steps go down 2 steps take 2 steps go up 2 steps so theres no way to get a cart to my storage locker!! My reservation was for a 6-12' trailer and a dolly. The trailer was to arrive at 8:00am, so I made my reservation for 10:30 am to give them plenty of time to inspect and service the trailer for my 500 mile one way trip. Upon arriving the guy informed me that there was no dolly at this location, but did not offer any help in locating a store with a dolly...that was another hour of my day wasted of my busy day finding a dolly which was on my reservation. After asking him if the trailer had been serviced, he looked at me, kicked the tires and said "they look good". Pretty sure that there is an inspection upon reception of equipment, correct? That is the reason for the "poor" evaluation. My safety was not in consideration.ANTHONY W.

U-hauls Towing policy, "our validation process does not assess your vehicle clearance. If you see that your vehicle is low, you will need to decide prior to transporting your vehicle whether you want to proceed knowing that damage will be your responsibility or return the equipment unused for a full refund." I knowingly knew that my vehicle was going to be damaged so I proceeded to return tow dolly (after hours) same evening. Due to pandemic situation, I wrote on rental agreement that I determined dolly would damage vehicle so returned same day for full refund (after hours, put rental agreementin one of the after hours box for employee to have next day when checkingin equipment. I have yet to receive an email about a refund or a phone call. I've worked for U-Haul and done the training and assessments in Fort Worth. I can tell you right now that my situation would have been taken care of by my previous store manager in a timely manner.Jairo N.

I want a full refund. This is three out oof last five rentals from haul I ordered and paid in advance for movers that never showed up and I returned the truck with no use of it due to fact I am handicapped and can't move myself with my 10o pound body that has one good hand....not too to pick up and carry. I drove it home I drove it for soda to wait for movers I drovel my friend home that came to help cause they too are disabled. Either have movers at u-haul or stop letting your customers get ripped off by uhual and it's setup to not provide help only transport which will not get used due to fact no ties or dedicated work as movers for u-haul only. An exclusive contract ...i.e. uhual subcontractors....maybe it would make a giant difference...... Give me a full refund. This practice is becoming what I call a "deceptive sale tactic," and against uscpa law.Anna M.
