Probably the WORST experience I've ever had with a U-Haul place. Don't even TRY to call them. You will sit on hold for twenty minutes! They will answer but then just leave you on hold. Went to pick up the truck, absolutely no one around to help us. There were multiple customers just standing around waiting on someone to help us. Stood and waited for about 10-15 minutes. ONE person came in just to tell the first person they were waiting on they lost their key. Already not looking promising. Two more employees walk out and not really even acknowledging anyone. Helps the person in front of us luckily all they had to do was drop off a key. Woman came to help us not really helping, still engaging in the conversation about the lost key. She asks me about my emergency contacts I spell out my husbands name.. A nice shitty response of â€œwell I know how to spell that.â€ Just trying to help out cause there's multiple ways to spell his name. Drop off the keys easy peaseyâ€¦ One of our mover helpers had thought he lost his sunglasses in the truck (our fault obviously) so now here I am on hold. AGAIN. 15 MINUTES. COME ON PEOPLE. I just need to know if the sunglasses are there. I will never EVER come here again. I hope someone reads this and doesn't even try to call them cause they won't answer and will just be shitty to youNATALIE P.
Ive used this location often as the personnel are excellent. The vehicle/trailers I need is easily reserved, and the way the folks in Milford handle my pickup and drop off is really professional. Will continue to use them as often as needed.PETER B.

The customer service area is cluttered and difficult to see if there is an employee at the desk or not. Three spots, with lots of "stuff" blocking the view. I would recommend stream lining the area so customers can clearly see who is available or not. The employees were all friendly and knowledgeable.Susan M.
Only problem I had was the night time drop box is not labeled. Had to leave keys in night time pick up box and scramble the code and lock key in box. When I called they told me where the box was and it is a slot. The slot is not labeled in anyway shape or form.HOLLIE B.

When I called this location to speak to a manager I was put on hold for 20 minutes and no one ever picked up the phone. Very bad experience over all. I was charged for extra miles which I think 50 miles should be taken off for my inconvenience.Heather H.

I made an appointment for a hitch to be installed two weeks ahead of time. I showed up at my scheduled appointment time and was told that no one was there to install the hitch. I took an hour out of my day to drive there when I could have easily been called to be told that my appointment needed to be rescheduled.Whitney L.

The brown haired unhappy, unfriendly, chain smoking female who checked me in this past Saturday had a pathetic non-customer service oriented attitude toward me and then my daughter who came back down to the store to pick up a pack of bungee cords I left on the counter accidentally, shortly after I picked up the rental truck. What was worse is that the lady told my daughter that she noticed I left the cords BUT she was telling my daughter this outside of the building while smoking and did NOT even, once, attempt to call my mobile ph# which was right on the computer there to let me know I left the bungee cords.. She was pathetic, uncaring, lazy, unfriendly and needs NOT to work directly with customers EVER and I will NOT advise any of my friends to go to this new location as long as I know she works there. Your manager, I believe her name was Stephanie, was very rude. I guess one of the parts was not in stock. I asked why you book appointments 5 days in advance, like I did. She said she was not aware I was coming in. Then gave me some grief about having to drive her car somewhere to get the part. Check my transaction, that appointment was booked, AND THE HITCH WAS PAID IN FULL, 5 business days prior. I will not be returning to that center ever again.Douglas R.

The location and the truck were fine - my problem is with the incredibly difficult communications with U-Haul overall. I had selected and pick up and drop off location but then received messages to call them to "finalize" - 40 min on hold and was told pick up location didn't have one-way rentals. Ok, I can deal with that - but not the fact there is no way to reach a local rental agency without going through the national number and waiting on hold.CORY P.

There must be something wrong with your Uhaul application. When I tried to return the truck, it just kept looping at the step where it asked for a photo of the odometer and fuel gauge. I finally closed the app and was able to use the Uhaul website to return the truck. So, the website version failed at pick-up and the app failed at drop-off. Overall, not a great experience.Eric C.
The truck I had reserved was ready on time, and the agent who checked me out was courteous and efficient. The office was neat, clean, well organized and well stocked. The truck and pads were clean and in good repair; it performed as I expected and did the job we needed. The only glitch was that I did not receive a receipt - I had to call the office in Milford two days later, but they discovered the receipt and forwarded it to me within a few minutes. I will gladly patronize this U-Haul location again and recommend it to others.DAVID G.
It was recommended that I use the online web portal to return the rental truck after hours. The online web portal for return was not working. I then called U-Haul corporate, I followed the phone queue to return vehicle after hours, no one was answering, I was left a lone to figure out U-Hauls return policy myself, I made the mistake of locking the keys in the vehicle. The manager called the following day, she was very upset, rude and unprofessional and before she hung up on me, she told me I'm responsible for another day of rental on the truck. I'm going to challenge any additional charges, it is unreasonable to leave a customer to follow procedures when U-Hauls technology in not working properly and U-Haul is uncontactable. This is very unfair!ELY G.
