My ubox took a month to be delivered. The first delivery was to be June 1O th and then the 11th , and that wasn't to be . No one from uhual called to give me delivery window so I called them and come to find out was told they couldn't find a driver to get it here. It finally was delivered on June 19th , 8days late and in uhual contract it says that you are to get $50 for each day it doesn't get delivered, so I called and complained and customer service person agreed that I should get $450back and that she would take care of it , yeah right, next day $200 refund was given to me. Called again and told a new customer service person the facts, I asked to speak to her manager and for some reason that wouldn't happen. She put. Me on hold for far to long and came back on saying Monae her manager said she would give me $200 more. I am still owed $150 and called again and I am mysteriously hung up on every time I call and tell a customer service person what I'm calling about. It's dishonest what uhual is doing, there is no apology for what happened. It's hard to set up housekeeping when you don't get your things for a month. If I hadn't called and told them I wanted a refund it would never have happened as they said and offered me nothing for all my trouble. In the future I certainly will not give uhual my business, I will use some one else most definitelycvarthy S.

Reserved a 20 foot truck 3 weeks in advance, did it on line. Original pick up location was changed a couple days before pickup. It was farther away. Went on Saturday morning as per reservation and the location did not have a 20. They told me I could go 70 miles away to another location to get one. That wouldn't work because I had people scheduled to help load and help unload at my scheduled drop of town. I had a reservation, it was useless, waste of my time. Luckily the two girls working that morning were able to help me out with a smaller in town truck and let me drop it in my destination town. We used the truck and peoples cars to complete the move.Barry P.
Store was empty when we arrived. After about 10 minutes we found an employee helping a customer in the far back of the parking lot. We were relieved that nothing was amiss. Numerous businesses are short staffed these days.Patty P.

Trailer was clean, but the right-side clearance lights were not working. I only needed it for 3-4 hours in the morning, so didn't worry about it. Didn't get a chance to tell the desk as I had to finish, drop the grandsons home and go back to work.BRENT A.
Ordered a truck, and it was not on site unfortunately due to someone over-extending their rental. We were given a bigger truck. While we appreciate not having to wait for a truck, t made things a little more difficult to move than we thought since we then had to find parking and maneuver this much bigger truck in a packed apartment complex full of cars. The truck was not filthy but also not clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Truck was not where the online check-in said it would be and there was an unordered furniture dolly rolling around the back of the van.Ruth K.
I had no issues with this location on Michigan rd. My original reservation was with Carmel welding. Somehow the reservation wasn't done correctly according to the uhaul regional manager. We wasted 2 hrs trying to pick up original reservation and driving further to pickup 2nd reservation.JAY P.

The customer service rep did an amazing job and was very nice and patient the only thing I wish that there was someone helping her. She had a line of people and she was checking people in and out by herself. She did an amazing job considering how busy it was though.Keary B.

The truck I rented would barely catch gears I couldn't move all my stuff because the truck I had sounds like transmission was going out. The wheel alignment is messed up I couldn't finish my move, I will never rent there again. I've rented from uhaul in the past but this was by far the worst experience. The back of the truck was dirty and the inside is dirty to I took pics. Never Again from this locationDIETRA V.

The self service pick up/ drop off did not work for me. Please find a way for customers to complete all the necessary steps when they return their truck without exiting it. Returning a truck at night on an empty lot, can be frightening and risky, and customers should not be asked to spent more time there, and exposing themselves unnecessarily.Gladine K.

Location was not far from my home. The reason that I am giving it a low rating is because if I make a reservation ahead of time I expect to have the truck size that I reserved and not be told that I have to take a 26 foot truck. After the 26 foot truck was pulled up front I was then told a 20 foot truck was available. I was told that the reservation had to be updated and given the receipt for the 20 foot truck. I had a Six hour reservation but when I got my receipt that changed to a 4 hour reservation without any explanation. The main factor that made me so angry is when I checked my bank account I was charged for both trucks and had a rude rep answer the phone when I called to ask why I was charged twice. I won't be using uhaul again. This experience made my moving more stressful than it already was to begin with.LaToya B.
Awful service. I was charged $100 gas charge that I was never given the keys to. When I called to resolve the issue, was put on hold for 25 minutes. Submitted proof that I was charged wrongly via email and chat - no response for 3 days (and counting). NEVER using U-Haul again. Stay away.JACOB L.
The first trailer we were supposed to rent had a bad electrical connection. AJ let us rent a larger trailer for the same price, but really had problems with your software trying to override the price difference.Jeffrey K.

Very easy check-in and check-out. Young lady manager was exceptionally courteous and nice. I had never rented a truck before and told her we were doing this to help clear out our son's house because he had just passed away. She said she loved her job and wished us the best for our sad task that day. You don't normally see such sweetness and professionalism at the same time; she had excellent compassion and people skills. Truck was perfect for our job. Overall a very satisfying experience.phil G.

The knowledge of UHaul was not where it should have been. Very nonchalant and uncaring attitude, not what you would expect from someone that you are paying to provide you a service. I rent trucks for my employees regularly, but I will search my options before selecting UHaul again.EDWARD N.

Upon returning the trailer, the lot attendant helped remove it from my vehicle and said he would process the return acceptance and issue an email acknowledging the receipt. This was at 5:30pm on Saturday and as of 5:00pm on Monday, the return had not been posted. I went back to the location, confirmed the trailer was still there, and had another attendant process the return completion. A return trip should not have been necessary, but I needed to be sure I would not be responsible for late charges or the appearance of having not returned the trailer.R B.

The vehicle I rented was not in good working condition. There were major engine problems (anytime I would apply the brakes, the engine would rev and go up to 4-5 RPM; there seemed to be problems shifting between gears as the engine would make concerning noises when accelerating). I reserved two furniture dollies with the truck. I called a week before the rental to ensure the dollies were secured, as a year prior I was not supplied the dollies I requested. I was told that they would be available. When I arrived on site, I was told there were no furniture dollies available and that the next closest location to check with did not open for another two hours. This is the second year in a row that I have been told that the equipment I reserved was not available.Kristi A.

The truck itself was clean and had a good amount of gas in it when I picked it up. However the wheel alignment seemed off because the steering wheel was not straight which made it kind of hard to turn the truck at times. Also the gentle man at the front who helped me when I pick the truck up gave off a terrible vibe when I was there. He did not greet me when I came in nor did he make any eye contact with me or any of the other customers that came in after me. He just seemed like he didn't want to be there. The staff at the facility were so helpful. There was a problem with my access card and staff members Stony and Jesus were always available to open the storage room and Stony put in great effort to investigate the problem by reaching out to his boss and then the supervisor above his boss too! So a huge shout out to the staff for being helpful. Monet was the agent who helped us secure the storage room and she was friendly and quick to get the room assigned so we could start moving in. The hallways are very well lit and there was even a cart we could use to move things into our storage unit.
