I returned the trailer to the location we texted to me but had no help and they did not even know I returned it one day early. I call the Uhaul customer service and they said that it would show up as returned later. I said that I did not want to get charged the additional dollar amount. Then 49 hours later I get an invoice for the additional twenty nine dollars. Had to call customer service and she had to start a file instead of just reversing the charge. Not acceptable customer service and not a get return location that would wait to charge he amount. By the way still NOT fixed.

I was told to drop the keys in the slot ... but the doors to the truck were not locked. I was told it makes it easier to move the truck the next day. I would have felt better had the truck been locked.

My initial poor opinion was driven by online reviews. I lowered my expectation because I had no choice at the hour I needed a rental truck to help a church get donated freezers for there food pantry. The first contact did acceptably and had me saying I lucked out. Then things went wrong. It all centered on one employee who didn't seem to care and came off a bothered and acted with no sense of urgency. I even saw him be rude to another customer so it wasn't just me. If you read the bad reviews and think they are joking believe them and save yourself the frustration. Don't go to the Michigan location if you expect good customer service from all employees. READ THE REVIEWS..

Workers stayed 1hr & 30min passed the close time. They made sure that I was completely satisfied before leaving. I was very impressed with their willingness to please me as a customer. I brought in a 2019 vehicle that had not been installed on prior. They were still willing to do the work and put in the extra time to make sure it was correct!!

The online reservations do not take into account the needs of the customer. We did not have a truck available for the day we needed, so decided to rent the cargo van. When we arrived at the pick up time the van was not available as it was being used by someone who would return the van later that day. We rescheduled and picked up the van later, but we noticed we were provided the keys to a van that was sitting out front the entire day, even when we were there earlier. The rental process is very poor. Fix your online rental algorithms; figure out that what you are promising online is not the same as what is showing up in the store. These people were also completely rude and straight out said they do not provide good customer service there, and seemed proud of that fact. Ridiculous.

This was the first time that I had rented a U-Haul trailer. I pulled into the equipment return lane to return the trailer, assuimg that's where I would return it. The attendant opened the building's door and said, "Just take it back to where you got it." Since I brought the trailer from Kentucky, I said, "What?". He then asked me if I drove it from out of state, and when I said yes, he said, "Well, just drive it back where the others are." I'm still confused. I'm in the 'return the equipment lane'. When he noticed that I was still confused, he said, in a very condescending and impatient way, "How do you think we're going to get it back there?" I backed the trailer into the parking area where the other trailers were located, and waited for an attendant the come remove it from my car. When no one appeared, after a few minutes I walked back to the building, walked up to the attendant, apologized for not knowing how to return a trailer, and assumed he would say that he would be right out to detatch it. Again, not knowing how the return worked. He said that he would be out as soon as he was finished with the customer that was currently in the store. I returned to my car, and a different attendant walked out and disconnected the trailer with HIS HANDS. If I'd known that was possible, I would've done that myself. Anyway...I understand now that there's a process for returning trailers, but customer service with patience, kindness, and explanation would've been appreciated.

You should have the utility/motorcycle trailers available at other sites. it was quite a drive to get to this facility from where we live. There are several U-Haul facilities much closer to us, but none of them had the utility trailers.

So, your system let me rent a trailer from this location, when this location doesn't and never has rented trailers. I went in to pick it up and was notified that my pick up location was changed to a facility 40 minutes away which means I wasn't able to make my appointment with the trailer and had to cancel everything. Very poorly ran. Please DONT let anyone rent something from a location that doesn't even offer what they're wanting

The 2 Male employees were rude, one of them walked away from me at the register which lead to me waiting over 5 minutes to be helped when there was no line and the other guy parked a truck right in front behind my fiance's truck and when she asked if she could move it he insisted she had room eventhough she didn't. Not to mention the truck I was given have a fast leak in it and I had to put air in the truck 3 times during a 40 mile trip... I'm never coming here again. We'll probably go budget next time

VERY DISAPPOINTED IN UHAUL! WHEN I RESERVE 2 DOLLIES, I SHOULD GET 2 DOLLIES!! THE TRUCK WAS THE WORST ONE I HAVE EVER RENTED! IT WAS CLEAN, BUT THE STEERING WAS WAY OFF. THIS LOCATION HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY HELPFUL IN THE PAST. I JUST CAN'T RECOMMEND UHAUL IN GENERAL ANYMORE. YOU GUYS NEED TO GET YOUR ONLINE AND LOCATION STORES IN SYNC!! I AM GOING TO PENSKE IN THE FUTURE. MUCH EASIER TO DEAL WITH AND CHEAPER!

The inside windshield was dirty. The workers didn't want to show me to the vehicle. I jad to guess which vehicle I had. Telling someone the general direction and having 3 vehicles to choose from is not very customer friendly.

Did online check-in but it still took almost an hour to get equipment and there were only two people in front of me. Truck windshield was dirty and poorly maintained. With 160,000 miles the steering was loose and shaky and the suspension was almost none existent. Will not rent from this location again and will try Budget next time for the equipment.

Cargo van was incorrectly booked for one day rather than two. In hindsight, I'm not sure if I got the better deal. $19.95 times two plus the 557 miles might have been cheaper than what I was charged.

The inside of the unit I rented was full of construction debris. It also leaked in the front right corner. I had to put several towels on top of my daughters desk so that it did not get ruined. I took several pics and showed them to the Uhaul person at the drop off point at my destination.

We will always use this location from now on. When we arrived, our van was ready, but the last driver didn't leave the key so we had to wait a couple of hours for another van. Yes, it put us behind schedule, but I was very impressed with how the manager and the young lady taking care of us handled the situation. They were apologetic even though it wasn't their faults and accommodated us with a credit without us even asking. Great customer service. We've been to other u-haul stores and have never received this quality of customer service. Everyone was so nice and friendly. We will be back to this location.

Unfortunately, the truck was not large enough for my needs. I told the woman on the 800 line that I was moving a refrigerator. She told me the cargo van wouldn’t be large enough so she suggested we get this 10’ truck. But it still wasn’t tall enough for our needs. Nor did it have a ramp. Nor did it have a hand truck. I told the people at the location what I was going too, but no one said, “Oh, hey. Let’s see if we can get you a bigger/different option.” So.... yea, this wasn’t a great experience.

My reservation in the system and did not have a 5×8 TRALER on the lot.so i had to take a 4×8 one.still had to pit alot of stuff in my truck with my two dogs.then i got a free day and still hot charge for the free day.am souppest to get a refund back on my card bit still have not heatd anything.

The representative I worked with was fantastic. She knew what she was doing and took care of me quickly. The vehicle had some nasty liquid in the cup holder when I picked it Ul, it the same agent took care of it. The back of the UHaul was not swept clean upon pickup.

I have moved several times and this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I reserved my truck weeks in advance only to receive a call the day before my reservation to tell me that it was cancelled because they are closed that day (Saturday). Then I get a call to reschedule a truck at a different location farther away from my storage unit so I reserve a truck from that location only to receive a call on my way there telling me that they don’t have a truck for me and they send me to yet another location even farther away from my unit. I will never use U-Haul again. No one took responsibility, every representative blamed someone else, and no compensation was offered at all.

Trailer was full of broken plastic and trash. Never any assistance at this location when hooking up. Trailers are in considerable disrepair. Will never use this location again, everytime I chose a different location I am forced to go here. Clearly you have an issue with 6x12 trailer quantities in Indianapolis

First, I called national Uhaul 3-4 times several weeks *before my pickup date in order to change my dropoff location, and I was told repeatedly that "honey, you can do that when you pick up the truck." When I picked up the truck, the young woman who helped me was unable to change my dropoff location. I had to call national again and complain/be rude about it in order to change the dropoff. The Indy location was understaffed, and the young lady who was there was not particularly knowledgeable or well trained. Waits were long and she had no supervisor to help her answer questions or help customers more quickly. Then, the man who attached my tow dolly did so incorrectly. When I returned the dolly, the Uhaul employee in Inkster was horrified and said that it was lucky my car made it all the way.

I am disappointed in the shape of the 26 ft truck. We have used uhaul 3 times in the last year in our family and a couple more times recently with friends. The attendant acted like he was bothered. Didn’t come out and inspect anything when we picked it up. The truck was banged up not swept at all. Nasty. Also shook like crazy if going 60mph on interstate and a rough ride. Black smoke coming out and guzzled gas more than any other. I rented one in Zionsville only to be sent to Michigan road the next day. I am not a happy customer and will be writing my first review online ever.

Actually inspect your equipment ahead of time to make sure it’s in proper working order. Having to wait 2 hours because of your inability to maintain proper working equipment is ridiculous. Also, stop having side conversations while working with customers. We have things to do and don’t have time for you all to bicker and comment on everything.

Milage on truck was wrong. I brought it to the counters attention.. I was told it would be taken care of..it was marked on the receipt and signed.. nothing was entered into the system to correct this error. After I returned the truck.. I was billed for the extra miles . after I called to get this corrected... I was told that I should have put the contract in the box with the keys.. I was not informed to do this and now they tell me I have to come back to the store and show them the contract to get my refund.. I emailed a copy of the invoice and nobody answered..

I spent 2 hours extra on this truck because it kept breaking down on me. The truck was badly service. The transmission was slipping. It was a horrible move. The customer service was great but the vehicle was terrible. I had to pay xtra for movers because we kept getting delayed. This truck should have not been rented.

The person that did my reservation did not do a good job. I called to reserve to pickup at the Carmel location. Once i got there i was told the unit was not there. I had had to drive a extra 20 minutes to pick up. Which cause me to use more miles on the rental coming and going.
