The original lock that I had on my pod was not on there when I went to empty it. We had to break the lock however there was nothing listed in my file about why the lock had been replaced. My pod also did not arrive on time, no communication had been made to let me know that it was behind. It arrived five days late. I have never had any issues with U-Haul but this last experience was not a good one.

I'm very upset that my drop off location was changed without my knowledge. I delivered the trailer to Lafayette Rd location I had selected the day before and when I got there to do the online return, I found out the location was changed to Michigan instead. This caused me an extra hour in time plus gas. I would like to be reimbursed.

Truck was a total wreck. Many mechanical issues. No brakes, no emergency brake, check engine light, ran extremely rough. I am due a refund of charges $181.00 I DO NOT RECOMMEND USING UHAUL!! No customer service!! UHAUL IS PURE GARBAGE!!

The truck was not ready as promised. had to go into the store and none of the staff was wearing a face covering. When asked, they put on their masks. Also, the app is confusing and hard to use, though I was able to figure it out.

I've used Uhaul many times and this time was horable . When walking in and greeting the associate she was eating her mask under her chin not covering her mouth , that made me want to turn right back around and leave but I had mine and plenty of sanitizer . I didn't have time to find some were else as I had a moving crew waiting on me . The first truck that was given did not start , the secound one we found to have Legos dirty socks and other debris and smelled like liter fluid or gasoline . They had not been cleaned Pryor , we found this after we got home to load up . We had to sweep and use cleaner to get the smell out so our belongings didn't smell like this . We were not reimbursed for this extra cleaning . Make sure these things are corrected and reimburse your customers for extra inconvenience of cleaning up others mess along with wearing a mask .

I returned my truck and forgot to refuel. I asked the person on duty if I should have them move the trucks in the drop off line so I could go refuel and he told me there would just be a small fee for the gas. When I got my electronic bill they charged me more than $80 for the fuel and a refueling charge. I think this is outrageous - they should have told me that would be the case so I could have refused myself. Very disappointed. This location is not customer friendly at all.

A couple of the tires were severely worn. When we dropped off the truck we tried to tell the employee that the steering and alignment was really bad and the brakes were bad and to let them know about the tires.(tires wearing - probably because the alignment is bad) he asked, “were the tires like that when you got it,?” yes. “Then you don't need to worry about it.” He was short with us and not concerned for our safety or any future renters. Guess they just cared about the money!

The furniture dolly that I thought was part of my reservation was not available. Not only that but the men working didn't know what a furniture dolly was. I really needed that piece of equipment was very upset that they didn't have one for me. Why make a reservation if the equipment is not available? At least the size truck I wanted was there. I t was nearly out of gas, but I made everything work out. I hate being at that mercy of businesses like Uhaul.

1st vehicle had the engine service light on as soon as I started the vehicle. The replacement truck had a broken sun visor that was in my line of sight perpetually regardless of how many times I attempted to relocate it. The truck was filthy! Additionally, the truck I was given did not have a ramp, and it made it very difficult to load and unload furniture. Upon return of the truck, I told Mone'y Ingram-Smith my concerns. Her reply was simply that she was sorry, and that was it.

Our original pick up location was on Lafayette road. We pre-booked our truck and when we got there they said they overbooked and gave our truck to the guy in front of us. They asked if he had a reservation and he said no so they called the manager out and the manager said since he got there first he would get the truck. Pretty ridiculous when we arrived prior to our start time and reserved the truck. So they sent us to a different location who had a truck available. Put us an hour behind our moving time and did not offer any kind of incentive for their poor customer service.

There needs to be someone designated to hand out keys for the 24/7 pick ups. I had to wait in line for 25-30 mins to pick up my keys, which ran into my reservation time.

Whatever you do make sure you pay attention to your mileage, because they will try to take you for a ride. I moved from eight miles down the street from this location and they tried to charge me for 1100 miles! I would have had to travel 16 hours to place 1100 miles on a vehicle. I know because I'ma driver. But if you check the video tape you'll see me parking the van before 9.00 the same night I rented it. I may have out of town license but that doesn't mean that I reverted a vehicle at 2.00, placed 1100 miles on the van, and returned it at 8,45 or 9.00 that night!! You do the math 1100 Miles divided by 6 1/2 hours = 18 hours 33 minutes!! Making me return the van around 7.30 or 8 Monday morning!!

Fix your damn online checkin! It would have taken me half as long to go in to the counter than i spent mucking around on my phone in the parking lot. I filled the same damn information I had during my pre-registration. The manager was terrific, the hand'd free process sucked. I will never use it again.

They do not communicate well I was told if I returned it early , I would get a prorated refund , if I kept it longer I would be 40 a day I returned it a day early no refused, I think the people were new & did not know but that's not my fault , call me please @ 419 302 8288

That truck needs to be SERVICED. Seems like the transmission is slipping and the back ends swings even w/o load on it. HORRIBLE experience in that truck!!!

The gentleman that checked me out did not check me is fishy hit at once you make it out and I got in and when I drove 2.2 miles I called and told him that the paper was not correct with the mileage he told me there's nothing that he could do and then I would have to take it up with the manager I drove I estimate of 11.7 miles Apple leave the malice that he put on the paper was incorrect and he was very rude and I always come to this location I rented a U-Haul four times last month this is unacceptable I will be calling later on today to go over my bill to make sure everything is correct

I had reserved several dollys and blankets. When it was time for pickup, they didn't have any. The lady working called nearby stores. I ended up driving to W. Washington and Lynhurst to rent a dolly and blankets. When I picked up the dolly, it squeaked so terribly that we couldn't use it.

The sole staffer at this location, Stony, was thoroughly overwhelmed with returns and rentals and said that it had been this way from 9:00am that morning...7.5 hrs earlier. One staffer at a location this busy is ridiculous.

Wasnt given the right trailer and when it was dropped off at another location they were rude and would not accept. I had to inside and explain to them that I was given the wrong receipt with the wrong information on it. It was not my name or my address from where I was coming from and they were very adamant that I could not drop off the trailer at the Nashville location. Quite disappointed on how it was handled on the Nashville locations part.

The staff at the facility were so helpful. There was a problem with my access card and staff members Stony and Jesus were always available to open the storage room and Stony put in great effort to investigate the problem by reaching out to his boss and then the supervisor above his boss too! So a huge shout out to the staff for being helpful. Monet was the agent who helped us secure the storage room and she was friendly and quick to get the room assigned so we could start moving in. The hallways are very well lit and there was even a cart we could use to move things into our storage unit. However the light in the storage room we rented was burnt out.
