I was charged for a extra day when I was told that I wouldn't. The transmission was messed up and out of oil. Didnt like bein charge for a day she said that I didn't have to pay.teresa M.

When the truck that was 1st scheduled for me wasn't available they quickly found another one for me at this location. The person that I 1st made an reservation with at the 800 number was really rude when I called back to let them know that my pick up time was wrong. I called the Lamar Ave location in Memphis and the person was really helpful in canceling my 1st reservation and getting me the one on Mendenhall in Memphis.QUINTINA R.

The lady that I worked with am/pm was great very knowledgeable and kind. She was eager to answer questions that I needed answers for. You couldn't have asked for a better customer service representative... Thank you ladies.... Now as for UHAUL.... Your company make dollars on top of dollars why haven't you purchased more appliance dollies (washer/dryer) I know people still them which is very sad. But I was in need of one and did not know that you all do not provide them anymore... Before I could return my truck it was gone. A person in my same complex had the one I just returned. So I know you can replace dollies.... Do better PLEASE...Thank youGWENDOLYN B.
So I've had a unique experience at this location, I rented a truck and a unit. I left the keys in the truck and went home after I returned the truck, Alex i believe his name is, was very helpful and amazing customer service. Unfortunately, when I returned to locate the keys, the GM and another associate told me they looked into the truck and no keys were located, I was told that there was nothing they could do to help me. I proceeded to look into the truck and saw the keys where I left them. I don't understand why it was so hard to just go and look for me when I'm the customer and dealing with this issue.lucas P. | First Impressions

Signed up for a location near my home but it was not openGeorge K.
I was the 4th person in the store at that time that had booked uhaul a and there were no trucks available. Weather you make the reservation in the store or by 1800 uhaul which I did both ways. You should get the same service. This was a huge unconvinced for me. We should have picked up the uhaul at 10 am at the summer location under reservation name Cortney Montgomery but they didn't change my set around and did not have the truck we asked for so we cancelled not know inch we shouldn't do that and made another reservation at another location through 800 uhaul. Awful experience. Girl at the front t counter called traffic and they fixed it but this should ever happen and to 4 customers at the same time. Ridiculous!!JAMES K.

When returning the equipment I went inside of the store because it was my first time renting a u haul. One of the employees seen me standing waiting on assistance and he just completely ignored meDeshuna C.
I hope I'm rating the mendenhall rd. Memphis, Tn location. The lady who cleans and gets the trucks ready does a great job. The truck was clean and fresh. The agents inside, however, are slow, don't seem to know anything about efficiency or providing good customer service. Customers should be in and out, especially those who complete most of the process online. The line was ridiculously long and the staff didn't seem to care about moving just a bit faster to get us out. I hope to never have to visit the mendenhall location again. Customers don't have 45 min to wait in line.Kamika W.

I reserved one dozen moving blankets for my move but the location did not have any moving blankets when I picked up my reservation. I didn't get charged for it obviously, but I was annoyed because I would have liked to have had them for the move. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and helpful.John P.

was mislead by U-haul employee 2 years ago "Carol' located at 3561 S Mendenhall Road, Memphis, TN customer appliances was (supposedly) be in a climate weather storage by, customer was relocating to another state. Family member went last month to move appliances out )double wide refrigerator ) was totally destroyed dued to heat. A 3 year old fridge practically still new was stained and molded bad!! The 26' truck stopped on us twice (once in traffic), the power steering fluid was leaking out which caused the truck to be difficult to turn. I told the 2 gentleman the issues, their concern were " where is the truck". I'll use Budget next time!!!Regina D.

Let me clarify his rating. 1. I had a Installation appt for 7am. Arrived and was told it was for a drop off. No. That is not what I was told. Manager not onsite and would not return anyone's messages. 2. I called Customer Service and finally got to someone and the Market Presidents assistant â€œLynnâ€ took possession of the situation. 3. Lynn got in touch with the Market President and he arrived at about 11am and put my trailer brake switch on. I recommend Lynn and her boss. But under no circumstance would I recommend this location with this manager. I have filed a BBB claim because of this manager and the inability for the staff of the Uhaul location to own up to the situation. I loved about an hour away and I confirmed that it would be done when I arrive. For me to drop it off would have been unacceptable because of the time and cost factor. I was out over 5 hours to get a 45 minute task completed. This cost me a bunch of money missing work.Barry H.

The motorcycle trailer I rented had been use previously to transport some type of paint. There was paint which had harden on the trailer deck and signs of paint that had spilled on the outside of the trailer.Eddie M.
