I 1st went to Uhaul 36200 Euclid Ave in Willoughby Ohio, after finding out I needed a new plug for the lights to work on the trailer I needed to rent, the lady at Willo plaza did NOT give me any alternatives!! All she said was go to a RV dealer.I went to Uhaul in Cleveland Heights and the young gentleman that work there are TOP NOTCH!! The Cleveland Heights Uhaul will be the ONLY place I ever rent from.They even sold the wiring harness I needed.DAWN F.

The staff was friendly, but they gave me a dirty truck, & I had to sit & wait for about 30 minutes to leave because it was trucks parked back to back to exit & I was placed behind all of the empty trucks. This location charges for fuel, even though I put the truck right back where the needle was, they also charged me for the truck being dirty, when I returned it exactly how it was given to me. They told me they didn't have time to clean it. The mileage was also off by .1 when I got in the truck it was 93530.5 not 93530.4. How are y'all charging to refuel gas in a truck, that I didn't even use?Virginia P.
The vehicle I was given was absolute nonsense. I am convinced that the truck never had an alignment check, changed tires, or a steering wheel that worked with the tires. It was horrible and the whole truck vibrated as soon as you touched the brake, which you had to do a half mile early. Absolute terrible experience. Never again.Latonja G.

I love this location because I live near by and it is very convenient but my latest experience was dreadful. Not all of this is the fault of the location as I find many of the new online ways that U-Haul is handling the rental experience to be very detrimental to the customer. Also, almost always the fuel level is listed as being higher (more full) than the vehicle actually is. Not by much but probably by a gallon and this is unfair to the customer. This time the back of the van had never been cleaned out and we had to sweep it so that the items we were transporting wouldn't get filthy. The mirror on the driver's side was broken in several places. Beyond that I never received my link to report any discrepancies in fuel level or vehicle condition until it was too late to use because it had "timed out". I called twice and talked to two very nice individuals but still the links never worked and when I tried to use the after hours online sign in for the return of my truck it never worked correctly. I could go on and on but I am too tired.Robin V.

The inside of the truck could of really used a good cleaning. No garbage, but the interior needed to be disinfected. The truck had over 125,000 miles on it and ran adequately, although the engine light remained on.Nadette R.

Make sure that your trucks are maintained. Left with truck, but had to return within 30 minutes. Trucks oil light and service tire light came on. But, you have and excellent crew, when I returned it was taken care of immediately.KEMMBERLY R.

1. Discontinue the practice of 1st come, 1st serve on reserved equipment (dolly) 2. Streamline check-in process for customers who reserved trucks/equipment to reduce/eliminate wait times for service 3. Provide prompt resolution service for customer who hire movers through MovingHelp.com on U-Haul's website (vet & ensure companies are bonded & trustworthy) 4. Make reservations clear to staff to avoid redundancy (asking questions multiple times that was already on the reservation & verbally expressed by the customer) and to avoid mistakes (removal of pre-selected insurance & coverage protection).Lisa B.

I was told that I wouldn't have to pay for the dolly because I had to come all the way back to the store to get the because they wasn't put on the truck. Overall good experience. I was a bit concerned about the large number of blemishes on the exterior that did not have the decals on them. Ended up taking many photos to document them. I hae rented from this location many time. The employees are very friendly and helpful. This time I used the uhaul app, mistake. It took me 2 hours to obtain the vehicle do to waiting to talk to someone to get the lock box code. No blankets were in the truck. Driving home from uhaul I kept hearing a beeping noise and noticed the oil light coming on. Checked the dip stick and no oil Called 24/7 service showed up in 60 mins at Midnight and put 5 quarts of oil in the truck. The service person was excellent and thanked me for calling so that the engine didn't blow up. On return at 7 pm when the store closed tried to use the app. Again didn't work. Thank goodness for the staff. They stayed late and checked me in. Improve the App so it is more intuitive. Have a maintenance program where a second person checks the work.Douglas M.

I hired a move help abd paid the crew (via Uhaul recommended site) to offload my stuff into the storage that I paid for (at Uhaul site). I was informed (by the move help) that Uhaul staff told him not to offload (unload) the Uhaul truck. The truck was just sitting at Uhaul yard. Uhaul keeps on charging me everyday for the truck I did not use even though it was returned (parked) at the Uhaul approved return location. Not only that, without communicating with me, Uhaul went ahead to close the storage I fully registered and paid for. I see this as a sabotage. I contacted Uhaul supervisor few times for help, she did not offer to help. All I was hearing from her was I cannot help. Add storage facility when you were in the dark damp and deep recesses of the building The light can go out and there are no motion detectors inside of the storage units inside of the hallways leading all the way back to the entrance, I tripped on my stuff in the pitch black and then try to tell one of the people that work there who stared at me through a glass window and laughed at me after that as I was trying to move my stuff a very rude employee want to head and locked a door as I was trying to go through it and walked away saying she had a closet as I said it would've been nice to know before hand and she just mumbled something I probably didn't want to hear. I have to remove all my belongs from Uhaul and put them into another company's storage because whomever took my reservations made my life difficult at this point by putting me into a too small of a storage space and all my belongings did not fit they claim they couldn't find my reservation so I stood around while she searched had to call around to other Uhaul's for storage no luck. Now Im being put into spot that's very uncomfortable and very tiring because I have to leave work in time so I can get all my things out and into another storage company and you guys are still charging me for your truck rental because I have to have it an extra day to get my situation handled. After I told her that she still insisted I call customer service and kept stating they can't change it in store. I called customer service again and they told her the same thing. I was not knowledgable about the sizes of the unit so the unit I was assigned was to small. I shared what I had so the could recommend a size. I needed to exchange the unit which was on the second floor. I wasn't informed of the facility set prior to purchase or else I would have went else where. The larger unit was on the other side of the facility. We had unloaded the truck and turned it in and it was raining. I ended up having to pack y car with what I could and throw the rest away. The gentleman told me to close the door because it was closing time and we would not have any access. I said the young lady at the counter said I could. He went to verify and said you only can stay until 10p after which the alarm would sound and the police would arrive. I was frustrated and disappointed to say the least after driving 1025 miles to Cleveland. This was the location the Uhual company in Florida recommended. It should be said prior to purchase what the storage space set up is. Everyone is not familiar. I have never had to do this before. The rates at this location are almost double those in other areas.
