Not recommend the storage space. So so disappointed. First was expecting the one you pull up the door outside, easy in, easy out. But no ! It was inside and had to use trolly to bring stuff in. Took longer, more work and trouble. Beside that for renting trucks was fine !GEORGETTE D.

I was riped off yesterday and im very upset. I rented a truck for 4 days at a daily rate and brought it back in 3 and was not credited one day. he was very quick to charge me the extra charges for kms , but did everything he could not to credit me that day. I rented a 10â€ truck a month ago and was only charged $11. I rented one yesterday and was charged $52 for a van. Ripping people off now. It had a full tank and under the kms I first said. Extremely upset and tried using your email service and they kept saying the same non sense that meant the same thing I was talking about. Next I need to move stuff i have to go with someone else as this was unfair. Last time I booked it under my hubby's name this time it was under mine.MELISSA JOY W.

The truck was at a quarter tank when I picked it up, and had to gas quite early in the day. This is not a deal breaker by any means, but would be nice to have at least a half tank so a bit more â€œmovingâ€ can get done prior to refilling. Apart from that, great location and service. Everything with u-haul was great. However, I used the link to pay for help with movers, paid ahead for 2 helpers for 3 hours. Two days prior, they called to say they had an emergency (sick mom) and would not be able to come and to hire someone else. I could not find anyone on such short notice and we were actually ok moving wise. But now I am trying to get my money back as they did not provide the service. I called ricks moving and left a message, no answerâ€¦ it just sucks that I have to chase for my money back. Not uhauls fault but the refund should have been done automatically.CHRISTOPHER TERR B.

I was very disappointed with the processes surrounding reserving a truck. This had nothing to do with the location and everything to do with corporate process. I knew I was moving a month ago. I booked a 26' van on Sept 29 for 8am. I expected to have a van on that date, at that time. I had to check a box acknowledging so.eone would contact me closer to the date and the location may change for pickup. Fine, there are multiple locations in my area. However, I asked 2 weeks prior to the date if it was confirmed, I was told, don't worry they will call soon. I asked a week prior and was told so.eone would call a few days before, I asked at 1630 the day before and was told, someone will call by 6 pm. Well, when someone called at 1945 the night before my move and told me I couldn't have a truck until 1800 after I booked for 800. I was livid. And all anyone would tell me is "there is no guarantee" seriously? I did my part. I booked Well in advance, I am not impressed with this. I booked the day off work to move. The manager, Corey was able to get me a truck at 1100, but only because I would not except 1800. This is a ridiculous policy and need sto be addressed.KELLY PATRICIA R.

The worcet experience ever, first truck i rented, trailer lights were not working, even though they new that i have a trailer to be towed, it was night and the trailer was with no lights, in darkness drove to there location, took me all night for just few kilometres with my 3 kidds in the truck, and no one was there to help, next day truck delivered, forgot my personal things in the truck and i was all the time with the kidds in the parking lot hard not to see us, waiting for the other truck which was supposed to be available at 12:30 pm, we received it at 4:45 pm and of course lights werew not working when i got to MontrÃ©al, the uhaul worker was surprised of the condition of the gear rented. With difficulties i got home. Just horrible experience, i believe it's a shame on Uhaul to have such a dealerABDELRAHMAN H.

When I got in the system was down, I'm not sure if the manager didn't communicate to staff that they already charged but I was double charged, had to go in to fix it, I'm pretty positive I still got overcharged by atleast 10$ I tried to explain to the worker what happened and even showed him the two different charges and I wasn't even refunded for a full charge. The truck was clean but it had a bad vibration, also they had not given me the appliance dolly so had to go back the next day to get it and they had none so had to go to a different location to get one, although they did remove the charges for it, it was a huge inconvenience and it did not work properly, but all staff was friendly thank you for that.Carl F.

i was a bit confused by someone who claimed to be an employee when i returned my vehicle after hours. he wasn't wearing any indicating he worked for uhaul so i got suspicious and ended up locking the truck before completing my online checkin. i wasn't able to take pictures of the interior for example. if he is an employee then i recommend providing him with a hat of jacket that indicates he works for uhaul. if he's not then maybe warn customers that there is no uhaul employees on the premises after hours.BRADLEY L B.

The person who helped me provided best service I EVER had with u haul . The trailer I rented had a Radial tire on with Bias Ply which concerned me, air pressures not even between 4 tires , dispite this worked great.Glenn David G.
I had to rent a truck because my truck was broken on the highway, the truck they gave me had not working lights for the trailer, couldn't drive, it was night, with three children in the truck, no one was able to help, when i could drive to the location, after 5 hours of waiting on the phone and three hores of driving to get to the location with extreme danger and risk to have the lights fixed, no one was there, it was almost morning, i lost the time to get to the mechanic to get help with my stranded on the highway truck , next day they told me to come take the other truck at 2;30 pm, so we parked the broken lights truck and we forgot some personal stuff in the truck, after 15 minutes i remembered the things, i asked the cleaning guys, they said they didn't see anything and the truck was already dispatched, surprisingly i was with my children 10 feet from them all the time and my kidds were in the parking lot visible to anyone. Past 5 pm i could take the other truck, i got to Montreal, the U-Haul worker was checking out the trailer and the truck, and i noticed that the hooks of the safety chains were dangerously in a very bad shape. After all what happened, i was surprised that they changed me for the first truck which I was only trying to get it to their location almost all the time that was rented. It was the worst experience I ever had in my life, i talked to my lawyer about what happened, unfortunately this shouldn't have happened, it was undescribable experience.ABDELRAHMAN H.

Brakes on unit were soft. I kept getting past over by other customers that jumped ahead of me. I rented a 26' truck the previous week from Main st Moncton that cost me $64, however this location for a 15' cost me over $120. And I only added 16km at .89 cents a km, the math does not add up. Both trucks went to the same location. I was not very happy. I use Uhaul a lot but I may change to Penske or Ryder for future trucks.SHAWN DONALD L.

I always thought moving was made for men,but when i saw this place it was so easy and well organize that now i know a woman can do it too.The staff is super nice and very helpful they take the time to show you how the storage works.I really like the idea when you walk in, there is sample of the storage room so when you look at them or walk in with the size on the wall and have a good guest how big you need your room ,it went well for me perfect place,thank you , .MARIE GISELE C.

I payed for the month of September in advance and didn't get a refund when I closed up the unit earlier than planned. The no refund policy should have been mentioned when I payed online. It was very sneaky. There weren't enough carts so moving my stuff made it very challenging. -Booked online with my name and address and also asked for insurance. When I showed up in person they used the address on my ID that I told them wasn't current and told them not to use it. Every message I got after that had the incorrect address despite repeated attempts to change it. -Didn't apply the insurance fee for some time, then my bill suddenly increased, and changed by dollars for awhile. -Entered incorrect information for my second contact -Alarm went off a number of times despite the fact that I was signed in -Received a phone call about a commercial shipment that had arrived for me (I did not have a business account, was expecting no such shipment, and was completely baffled). The caller left a message (my voice mail has my name) and when I returned the call they insisted at least once it was my shipment. I have no idea how they even got my number for it. -Was not informed about the switch to entry cards instead of a password. -Rodent deterrent didn't seem effective - there were a lot of mouse droppings (no food in storage room). -Rented a van and an appliance dolly to move - photos of van for damage were old, key wasn't with the van like it was supposed to be, van was not moved to the area it was supposed to be in, and dolly was not with it. Employees corrected it quickly when I reported it, which was great. But maybe if this site isn't going to pay attention to details and promises from online reservations, perhaps they shouldn't offer them at this location? I never knew what was going on, and the employees never seemed to know either. I gave up trying to contact them as things wouldn't get changed, people would be surprised I didn't know the thing they didn't tell me, and everyone was often unapologetic about errors. My security card was not set up properly and I keep getting told my access was denied. I returned in the evening to try find out what was happening. The young guy working was quite rude. Did not want to give me a free month even though I had booked it that way online and the manager had approved it earlier in the day. Finally agreed after an employee that was there in the morning as well told him I was telling the truth. When he looked into why I didn't have access he discovered that the person in the morning didn't actually properly set up the card. They had done it as though I moved out instead of moved in. The company I work for booked a locker - with credit card payment. I went to access the locker and no one could find the booking - the reference number was not found - even though I had email confirmation. Luckily there was another 10x10 locker so I booked it myself. While I was there - waiting in line to be served - there were at least 4 other people who were trying to get trucks - they booked on line and had confirmation - but their trucks were no longer available. One lady was moving to BC / had to load up her house that day. She was in tears! Everything seemed soooooo disorganized - booking were lost - not available - it was chaos!!!! The staff were calm and good but it was crazy with people screaming and unhappy. You need to look at your system to tighten up inventory and demand.
