The facilities are fine but that truck rode so ruff it beat up all of our stuff and was extremely exhausting to drive. Picked up my rental and during my pre drive inspection I noticed the trailer tires were damaged and the engine oil was 2 quarts low. We missed our reservation due to the 5 hour delay to wait on trailer tires. I will not recommend uhaul for travel due to how bad the equipment ride and is inspected.Aaron C.

Robert was rude and confrontational. I asked him if it would be cheaper to drop off the truck at the location across town that I was moving too. He said he didn't know. I told him to go ahead and change my reservation to that effect if the cost is similar. Then I saw the price went up $60 to do this. I told Robert the whole point of changing it was to save money, and could he change it back. Robert got frustrated and told me to chill, then stared me down for a few seconds. I was worried I wouldn't even get my truck at that point. In all honesty, I think Robert would have saved me money if I'd listened to him in the first place. But the hostility was not welcome at 7am on moving day.CANAAN H.

I made my reservation at Coopers U-Haul in Donelson. They Basically lied to me. I went in there one month before my moving date to reserve my uhaul. The man got my c. card info to hold u-haul. I went back 2 weeks later to reserve my Dolly. Then I went in there a week before moving to be sure I get my U-haul and man said all is fine. They day I went in there...June 26 to get my uhaul... the man said. We don't have a reservation for you. You never reserved. I said.. I been here 3 times and last week. He said.. can't help you. He said.. check the other u-hauls on Lebanon road. I had to drive 30 minutes away from Donelson just to see if my u-haul was there and it was there in Mt. Juliet. The truck did not have any windshield wiper fluid/did not work when I tried to use it, the driver-side cigarette lighter charge port was faulty when I tried to use it, the shocks on the truck are terrible. I could feel every tiny bump in the road and it made the drive very dangerous to go cross country when I could have lost control of the truck on several big potholes that I encountered in the road, and the warning and ABS lights on the truck would not stop flickering on and off when I was driving the truck. This truck needs some serious work before someone else takes it on the road.Austin F.

The pickup had a funky smell in the cab if the air was not on. The final charge was less than was estimated at the time of rental. But the charge to my card has not been reconciled. I actually reserved a truck in Lebanon Tn. I got there and spent almost an hour trying to figure out what to do. The problem was that when I made the reservation online, the place was closed so no one left keys. I just would they let me even reserve it if it's past closing time? Called 1800 number and they helped me. They also said I was going to get a credit for $50 for the issue I had. I've never received it. I have all my receipts if needs to be verified. While I understand the hesitancy to allow the customer to help with the trailer hookup, telling them they can't touch the trailer is worse than showing the customer the proper way to hook up a trailer. I have rented several uhauls in the past, in addition, I dropped the trailer for a few days on our one way move. Had I not already known how to properly connect a trailer, it is possible that it could be reconnected improperly and be a bigger issue than not educating your customer on the proper way in the first place.Benjamin B.

While the gentleman who helped me reserve my unit was very helpful and friendly, the one who moved me out was unfortunately not. His answers were short and he didn't seem to want to be bothered. He was very unenthusiastic about his job. I've used this facility before and could have sworn there was a proration of rent if you moved out early; yesterday while I was mid-question, he cut me off saying "they don't prorate." It's frustrating because we were just billed roughly 3-5 days ago and basically had the whole month left. Our rental unit was not swept,out, had dead cockroaches, and mouse droppings in the well of an interior wall. I was was expecting a lot more, as far as cleanliness from "indoor climate controlled" storage facility. I told an employee there and he stated that he never goes into the storage units and gave me the managers card. Matter of fact the pile we swept out, was still there today.
