Trucks are parking out of control, on 10/1/21 employee showed up 30 minutes late and because I have a moving business I had 5 people waiting for me like 45 minutes so it costed me money that waiting time over $100.00. Plus the customer service was very bad. He was with very bad actitud and when finally got my truck ready it was blocked with other trucks, I went inside to ask him to let me go and he was like you have to wait. Mobile pick-up and drop-off was not user friendly. I couldn't find any information about the step-by-step process for what to expect when doing mobile pick-up/drop-off. It would be nice if it was clear what info was needed beforehand. The website is also very glitchy, after it said my payment was accepted, I tried to press continue multiple times so I could figure out how to get the keys, but pressing the continue button just didn't respond. I went in to ask for help and the guy at the counter immediately got up and left saying to hold-on because he needed to fill the propane tanks. Waited for at least five minutes, and then I tried reloading the page, which then the continue button actually responded. The way that they tell you what vehicle is yours is confusing, we ended up finding the wrong one. The spots were labeled A, B, and C so it would be easier if that was the way to identify your vehicle, not by exact location (because that isn't reliable and dances along the line to be kind of creepy). Then during drop off we ran into even more issues with the website. It asked to take a picture of the fuel level and mileage in one pic and gave an example. Except the model we had was not the same, and it would've been hard to get them in one pic because they were far from each other on the dashboard. I eventually gave up and went in to ask for someone to help me check out. Julio was very nice and helpful. In the end, everything that went wrong was an issue that the people at the facility didn't really have control over. Corporate should be ashamed of themselves for releasing technology that horrible and calling it â€œeasy mobile pick-up/drop-offâ€. It just baffles me that in this day and age of technology, the mobile abilities are absolutely atrocious. If I rent again, I definitely will not be doing mobile pick-up/drop-off unless they fix it because currently it's just pathetic that I needed help for both pick-up AND drop-off when trying to use U-haul's sorry excuse of a mobile version.Jesper K.

I reserved a truck 2 months prior to the Sept 1st move in day. After a forced reschedule for pick up ( 24 hours before pick up, my truck was â€œput down for repairsâ€), I scrambled to get a uhaul truck before the later time-slot they automatically assigned me. Finally, after speaking to Scott, I believe his name was, I was both downgraded to a smaller truck and sent to pick it up earlier than my original appointment (the day before at 6:30pm). At first I thought this was a good thingâ€" being able to pick up my 24/7 reservation uhaul truck the day before. However, due to the reschedule and business hours ended at 7pm, I was unable to pick up my truck before 7:20pm. I thought 24/7 reservation pick up meant just that, that I could pick it up at the time I was able to. However, after trying to pick up my truck at 7:20pm through the website, it crashed, multiple times, preventing me from successfully picking up my reserved truck. After, literally, 40+ mins on the phone (on hold) I spoke with a pleasant representative who was able to help me get the truck keys out of the key locker. Once I got the keys, I checked to see if both the utility dolly and appliance dollies were in the truck bed (I had reserved these two items 2 months prior as well). Only the utility dolly was in my reserved truck, so I noted I had to get the appliance dolly removed from my order upon returning my truck. FINALLY, I got in my truck around, now, 8:40pm and cannot start the truck because THE BATTERY WAS DEAD. It was unable to start at all. LUCKILY, Boris (an amazingly pleasant and helpful rep at uhaul) caught me just as he was leaving for the night and drove back to his house to provide me his personal jumper cable. 30ish mins later, I was able to jump the truck and be on my way. Scott, Boris, and Alexander (the GM) are wonderful people. Uhaul is a terrible company. I will never use them again. Would love to be refunded entirely, however, I did receive a discount for my many troubles.Nicholas S.

They charged me alot more did not tell there was a fee for overnight drop off and I brought truck back at 10pm so did not keep overnight they charged me a hundred dollars more than I was told and had contract for they are rude there and one employee came after 4 times when I told him to back away from me he was saying rude things my friend acutely video taped him screaming at me because we were so shocked at how your employee was treating a customerKerri R.

I arrived at 9am to pick up my rental at the Lynnway location. Richard at the front desk assisted me with the check in process and his customer service is very poor. I had to change the duration I had booked the van for and online I read that I would need to speak with the representative at the counter to make adjustments. Richard was very unprofessional and provided no help. I had booked the rental for 4 hours and needed to change for 6 hours. When I mentioned that to Richard he immediately said â€œcan't do itâ€ with an attitude. I asked him what the fee would be if I were to bring the rental past my duration and he said â€œI don't know, it could $40, it could be $50 or it could be more depending on the amount of people you would bounce.â€ I said okay no problem and let him know I would bring it back late and that I would be okay with a fee if applicable. Once I said that he refused to release the rental to me. I then agreed to disagree with his terms that I would bring it back in time just so he would release the rental to me. Prior to assisting me, Richard had an aggressive tone with the customer that was ahead of me. Sunday mornings must not be Richard's favorite shift. This is my second time renting from this location and the individual that helped me last year (I can't remember his name but he is the one with the piercing on his nose) was very courteous and professional. I have had no issues with the equipment/rental, they were all clean and neat. The only issue I had was with Richard and for that I would not recommend this location because of the employee's attitude and lack of professionalism.DANIEL C.

The truth is, I do not recommend it, I had a bad experience, I placed my order online and they sent me an Exact place to pick it up and when I went to that place they did not have it, I had to go to another place. They were waiting for me for an hour and 15 minutes and then they told me that I have to go to another place to pick up the truck in the email they send me they say I have to call that place they I called they answer and they leave me waiting in line Until I was in the place making a line to be attended until then the person answered the phone and told me What I need and I tell him that I have come to pick up a truck and he tells me that the truck I ordered does not have a smaller one instead of being able to carry all my things in a single trip I had to make two trips Why the truck they gave me was very small When they gave me the truck they gave it to me almost empty without gas I had to fill it completely and then when I brought it it was almost full only a quarter had run out and I told the person who was there and they told me that they were not responsible for paying because of the extra gas that I put in ... he says that I had to leave it the same as it was, that makes no senseâ€¦. Staff this location appropriately. There was only one representative to deal with customers. Also, there was a bait-and-switch. I was able to reserve a 20' truck at this location weeks ago, but the day before my reservation date I got a call telling me the nearest 20' truck on the day I needed it would be a nearly 2-hour round trip to go pick it up and bring it to my house.Charlie W.

The customer service was good, the truck drove poorly. The upkeep of the vehicle smelt like there was homeless people sleeping in it and had a smell of urine very strongly. The smell was so bad that I had to keep the window down the entire time I drove it on a day that over 100 degrees! I tried to roll the window down and the handle came completely off (It did go back on). The driver's side visor was broken and I thought the truck was going to brake down because of the idling. Customer's pay a great amount of money to rent these trucks and for that alone should be kept clean and work properly, not to mention the urine smell, it's just not sanitary! Given that the entire world recently just went through a pandemic crisis. I think it's fair to say that I wasn't completely a satisfied customer!Michelle O.

Have the rental truck available when and where promised. I booked 6 weeks ahead. I got a call the day before my rental saying that no truck was available at the promised time. I offered to pick up at another location and was assured that this location would have the truck available at the time promised. Got there. No truck. After pushing hard, they called and asked the person who had the overdue truck to return it. Finally got it an 3/4 hour late. No apology from the staff. Basically, I was met with a shrug.... What's the point of making a reservation if you can't honor it?ANDREW G.

I am very upset that I was double-charged for my recent service with Uhaul. I called customer service and got bounced back and forth to 2 different departments.
