Open up local stores phone line, it's too hard to get customer service on line, and they will send you pass a uhaul stores that showing several trucks on the lot that you needed when you call for a truck and the place they sent you too is much farther out. The only problem I had was that I had to return to the store after picking up my furniture because the signal lights on the vehicle were not working. So maybe it's a good idea to check on those things before renting out the vehicle. Other than that I had a really pleasant experience. The young lady gave me a new vehicle right away and the young man help me move my furniture to the new vehicle.LAQUINTA L.

Very bad operating vehicle it ran fine when I pulled out uhaul station but when it was loaded with clients furniture truck started spurting and shutting off did not have time to return it due to truck being loaded with clients furniture this truck wasn't serviced very well thats one reason I had a late return and lost money on my contract with my client William r Eubanks interior design would love to lease again but dispute any charges that where added on to my reservation contractFreddie W.

I spoke with customer service and was quoted a flat rate of 109.00 and 200 miles and everything after that would be .29 cents a mile. But when I went to pick up the van I was quote a different price. When I said something about I was told inside the store is different. Dont understand Uhaul is Uhaul then I thought when you rent you rent for the day. I was told 4 hours but told her that was impossible so she said by 4.Really disappointed.Deloris M.

When I returned the truck the young lady was the definition of unprofessional. On her phone and cussing to her bff. That's how loud they were. Other than that it was a good experience. The guy who rented the truck to me was VERY Nice and professional. If uhaul is hiring I will apply to give uhual a professional person to work anytime.Raeayria I.
Root problems were (1) equipment reserved on website (pads and dolly) were not available at pickup (site said not communicated to them) and (2) truck was dirty, beat-up, and had a defective cargo latch, but ran well and got the job done. Staff onsite did their best to remedy.CHARLES K.

Qualify your inventory at each location prior to making a secured reservation. This is an inconvenience to the customer when the vehicle is not available. If you are an essential service provider, your standards and practices are subpar. Personnel should be trained. Personnel should never engage in conversations about customers in front of other customers. Very distasteful. This was an awful experience and I will not use Uhaul for anything in the future.ANGELA J.
I think this uhaul SUCKS!!!! I was scheduled to return the equipment after hours and was charged extra money for returning it late but noone was at the location. I was charged an extra fee for no good reason. I hated it....I hate uhaul of Memphis. I wouldn't refer my dog a dog house there for the treatment I received. The service was great! The clerk that waited on us was very patient, friendly and helpful. She gave me a better drop off point, that was in Georgia ,from the original reservation that saved me time and a few dollars. Reserved the truck online the previous day; came to pick up truck, none available at my reservation time. Offered me to go 21 miles to pick up a truck and do a one way; never offered to credit account for going way out of my area. Moved my reservation to the next day (today). No dollies available, representative not pleasant nor friendly. My alternate driver noticed the miles on the truck did not match the miles on the slip. It was 4 miles over. When tried to bring to representative attention, he waited 6 minutes and just left. So i was charged 4 miles i did not use. Upon return the rep tried to say we returned the truck dirty. The truck was dirty already and engine wouldn't start a couple of times. Just overall disappointing.LORI P.

The place has a lot of trash lying around and the lot is so full you can't navigate the trucks into storage area to unload without assistance (moving stuff around to make way).
