I have already called and spoken to the GM. Your staff needs a refresher on corporate policies and customer service. He (GM) was kind enough to let me know he is refunding me the 15.00 late fee that was incurred in November on my account because the notice of late payment was mailed to my old address. He also listened to my concerns and reassured me he would work to communicate his expectations to his employees. I rented a pick up truck from Enterprise to collect my items. I do not plan on using Uhaul in any capacity moving forward. Which is unfortunate considering Uhaul was my preferred brand and I recommended them to everyone I knew. That all ended thanks to the poor customer service at this location. I sold my house in April and had to move 4 separate times for work. Moving forward I'll keep using 2 men in a truck / black belt movers / penske /enterprise. I'll also be renting from Dino's or Armor Storage as I have done in the past. They have provided me much better customer service, rental rates, security etc. Thank you for seeking my feedback. Have a blessed day.

The trailer I rented was full of ice and snow. It took more than 1/2 an hour to clean it out, which we never completely accomplished, which made the deck super slippery. I reserved this unit DAYS in advance, so there was no excuse not to put that trailer inside to thaw out for safe use to a repeat customer. Very bad business practices.

I am extremely upset that my rental broke down after we took hours loading it. It took 3-4 hours for roadside to show up. The first roadside Company showed up and didn't even let us know that they were there and determined that the battery in the truck was the wrong size for the truck, (which is really U-Haul's fault) and they could not maintenance the vehicle so they left. Then U-Haul called us back and said someone else is coming out and that it would be another 60 minutes. At this time we've been waiting almost 2 hours and it is cold outside and we missed our move-in window at the new place. We then had to wait until 1205 midnight before the other service came and then who is able to jump the truck. We had to move all of our items in the next day and it was much colder and snowing. I asked for a manager call back and do not receive one because I would like to be refunded for my order for my inconvenience. Still waiting on the call. I paid people 2hr minimums to help me move and they had to go home because the truck broke down and didn't get fixed until almost 4 hours later. Me, my sons, and my 65 year old mother moved a huge truck by ourselves in 28 degree weather with snow thanks to U-Haul breaking down when we had 40 degree and sunny weather the day before. I'm still very upset about this!

We received a free one month rental because we recently rented a car trailer. Saturday afternoon when I stopped at the L street location, there were 2 females behind the counter talking with each other. When they finally finished their non work related concersation, the smaller one asked how she could help me. I told her I had a free rental and would like a 10 x 15 rental inside if there was one available. She got up, walked to the wall behind her, pulled a sheet of paper out of a container on the wall and proceeded to study it. After about 5 minutes she said sorry we don't have any 10 x 15 units inside. We only have outside units. I told her I didn't want an outside unit and asked what was available inside. She studied the paper again for a long while then said there was one 10 x 15 unit on the second floor and an 8 x 10. I explained we had heavy furniture so the unit on the second floor wouldn't work and that we had too much for an 8 x 10. I then asked her if we took the 10 x 15outside unit could we check back and switch to an inside unit if one came available inn the next week. She said no, not when it is the free rental. I told her I would wait and talk to my boyfriend who was meeting me at the locatioon. When he arrived about 5 minutes later" we wnt inside. The two girls were on their way out the door and said we have to check a truck so you can wait if you want bub it will ve awhile. We needed a unit so we gad no chiice but to wait. Thankfully, a third male employee came into the office at that time. He immediately greeted us, asked how he could help and within 2 minutes had a 10 x 15 indoor unit pulled up on the computer to rent to us. Not sure if th e first female employee was just too lazy to help us or just not trained??? Any 45 minutes after arriving, we finally had a first floor unit. A manager might want to also speak to the 2 female employees and remind them to limit their personal conversations while customers are waiting and to avoid making comments like Ugh not another truck to check in. Oh God, now there are two . Crap.

The sales associate who checked me in was unfriendly and seemed annoyed to be there and acted annoyed by my few questions. Got the truck with little guidance at this point I assumed I would figure it out as he was very little help. Got to my storage unit and opened the truck and there were small pieces of glass in there. I was disappointed with finding that. The sales associate who checked me back in was at least friendly and seemed to care about the customer.

In the questions that the customer service asked me. They ended up giving me a U-Haul that was too small and didn't have a ramp. Just because it's a two-bedroom home doesn't mean we don't have a lot of stuff. In a washer dryer things like that we needed a ramp

The app to rate damage stopped working halfway through the time I spent rating damage. So I spent ten minutes trying to take pictures of all the different angles to make sure I documented all the dents and smudges/scratches that hadn't been documented previously. The app experience was stressful and did not improve my opinion of uhaul. The staff experience was amazing and unmatched, it more than made up for the terrible damage review process.

I wanted to rent a vehicle that would move a hutch and gave the man the measurements. He recommended a cargo van. Unfortunately that was not the right vehicle so they were kind enough to Let me trade Up to a 15 ft truck. I had movers lined up and the to my dismay, the truck battery died after only 20 minutes. Argh. Frustrating as I was paying For movers and It was going to be a 90 minute wait. The mover offered to jump start as time is money. The clerk was kind enough to give me a discount when I return the vehicle but it was a long ordeal.

This rental was bad from the beginning. Truck I rented was different from the one I actually got so mileage was messed up. The cab was sticky and the seat looked as if it had a cigarette burn hole in it. My card had two holds placed on it AND two charges. Eventually I was issued a refund but it won't be returned to my account for 3-5 days. Called several times (was on hold for over 15 min each of the 3 times I called today before I got a person to talk to) for some sort of explanation received one call back but they didn't even realize I had already turned the truck back in and that was the last I heard from them. VERY disappointed! If you like to be on hold and never get communication call them.

First, starting with the positive, the location staff were courteous, professional and processed the rental and return amazingly fast. While the rented pick up was in good mechanical and physical condition, the cab interior was in desperate need of cleaning. Every interior surface was dusty, dirty and in need of cleaning. There was no evidence that the vehicle interior had been cleaned between recent rentals.

Accidentally left my lock on the trailer and rather than cut it off, because it was returned a day early, the called and asked if I would like to come retrieve it. This was done. The return otherwise went smoothly. I did not need to use my free month unit rental this time so that is a moot point. Gracias.

The storage room was very dirty. I brought a broom and filled a dust pan with previous tenants debris. Everything else could not have been better. Easy access, I like the free use of the carts, the security is reassuring and I like the loading dock.

When I went to remove my contents that were stored they were covered with a layer of grit. I had to clean it myself before I could have it moved.
