What rented 2 dozen packing blankets, and a furniture dolly's well as a 10' truck. We had arranged to rent the truck using the phone method of check-in to try to limit public exposure because of Covid (I am auto-immune) We still had to go in to get the key - perhaps a coded lock box could work? Once we found and accessed our truck, none of the extra items we had paid for were in the truck. After waiting a while and finally getting the items - they still gave us the wrong kind of dolly. They gave us just the standard 2 wheeler - which was useless for what we were doing, and told us it was all they had, even though we had reserved it two days before.John P.

Booked a 15ft Uhaul, and confirmed the same the day before pick up. When I went to pick up the truck, they said that it is not available and asked us to go to another location to pick up a bigger 26ft truck.gizelle C.

Great experience, all employees (especially outside) extremely friendly and helpful! Had oversized tires, too big for standard tow dolly strap.. came back thinking I was out of luck, let the guy outside know and he wasn't sure (which I appreciated him telling me, no bs. Just I'm not sure but I'll find out and he did). Turns out I could buy longer straps and still tow the vehicle, thanks to everyone for figuring it out!CHRISTOPHER F.

I had a great experience renting this UHaul. From the moment I walked in the door, the staff was able to direct me to the counter and pull up my reservation swiftly and efficiently. At check out, they were able to get my estimated miles quickly and send me on my way. My only suggestion would be that they wipe down the steering wheels as I had black smudge on my hands from it, but my overall experience was great!MAKIDA S.

The check in process was tedious and not as streamlined as I expected. The location for truck pickup was not well stated on the website. An explanation of charges up front would be good. Was the rental a charge per hour? Still not clear to me.Merv F.

Horrible customer service. They charged me for equipment online and then told me I needed to go to a different location to pick it up because it was charged there. Will never use Uhaul again. There are plenty of other providers for truck rentals that provider better customer service.ARMIN K.

Gas up the trucks before giving them to the next client or have the clients do it. There shouldn't be 1/4 tank of gas when the client picks it up. There should also be a place to swipe to get to the elevators inside the store.ALEXANDER I.

This location was excellent. The original reservation was for pickup at 7000 Manchester Ave. location also in St. Louis. The Manchester location is a defunct gas station with a "Closed by Health Department" placard on the door. Below this is a handwritten sign in marker giving a number to call. My reservation was a 20' truck with car dolly, and I paid up front for packing materials, an appliance dolly, and a furniture dolly. The same day I made the reservation, Uhaul called to ask if a 20' was not available, did I prefer 15' or 26'. I have a bad back, so smaller is better. They had a 26' truck for me to pick up. When I called the number from the handwritten sign, the gentleman who answered the phone told me I could take or leave the 26' truck. He said he was just a broker and had zero interest in providing the dollies or the packing materials, and if I didn't want the 26', "fuck you, you can get your truck somewhere else !". I did not need this additional stress on moving day. I rented from 1641 Kingshighway instead, and they were excellent. They had no car dollies available and only some of the materials I needed. I'm 49 years old and have rented a lot of trucks from a lot of locations and vendors. This was the single worst experience I've ever had. With no car dolly, my 86 mile move turned into 256 miles because I had to go back and get my car. My move was not easy without the equipment and materials I ordered. You have precisely one opportunity to make this right, or I will never use your company again, write a strongly worded Yelp review, and begin a campaign with my friends and family to boycott you as well.SCOTT S.

The wrong hitch was put on despite my asking if a 3 class was bring put on the day I had my appointment and was assured that it was the class 3 hitch that was being put on, but a 2 was put on, after my waiting about 2 1/2 hours for it being installed. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks or so for the new 3 hitch to come in and then wait another 21/2 hours or so to get it installed.linda R.

The lady who helped me was great. She gave me her full and undefined attention even though they had a lot going on. The first unit I reserved the door would not latch so I had to get the next size storage unit. The next unit had 2 locks on it so unfortunately I was not able to have that unit.
