Uhaul made me switch my reservation location AND truck size the day before my move. They made me drive 22 miles to the new location, which means 66 miles round trip and they doesn’t include the mileage from old home to new home. They gave me $30 for mileage is is 1/3 the amount driven. I will never use uhaul again. I would rather pay a moving company 4 times the amount I spent here. You guys suck to the max.

Picking up the van was quick and easy! Loved that there is now a camera located in the cargo van for easier backups, felt a lot more confident driving a larger vehicle then I am used to! I dropped my keys after hours before going through all the phone checkout procedures, which is my fault for not looking beforehand, but a reminder to check might help in the future!

My opinions are on the process, not this pickup location. Was extremely disappointed that 1 booked a week ahead of time, then wasn’t notified til 10pm the night before that my requested location would not be used. And instead one farther away. I called and tried to change my pickup time due to the farther drive. They changed the time over the phone, but in the morning when I was supposed to get my truck the time was changed again. So I didn’t get my requested location or my original time as they pushed it back. Then whoever had the truck prior was late returning it. Just a terrible uhaul experience this time around.

We don't intend to ever use U-Haul services again! Friday 5/31/19, my husband got a call stating our truck would not be ready for us at the location we had requested (Brownsburg, IN), and the nearest truck was on the opposite side of town. After 3 phone calls and angry words, we got that situation resolved, we thought. Arriving at the location of our choice, our truck was wrecked and unsafe to drive. We had to drive to the opposite side of town anyway, to a different location (Keystone Ave. Indpls. IN) in Saturday traffic and tons of road construction. This put us over 2 hours behind schedule, making Mother's Hospice nurse wait for us for over 2 hours. Mother has Alzheimer's and the whole mess was just completely unacceptable!!! We were promised a $50.00 credit and extra miles. I will be examining that credit card statement very closely. When and if we ever relocate, Budget and Thrifty will get phone calls before we ever try U-Haul again!! Don/Lorraine Coffey

1) I believe the manage was John. He was good and helped out and lifted a few items to help out. 2) another guy seemed like he was in training and couldn't handle all functions. The line to check out/in was long and he needed some help on the computer. Not a big deal, but I waited 15 extra minutes that i didn't need to if he'd known his job and the equipment better.

We traveled around indy maybe 25 miles We drove to Greenfield 25 - 30 there and 25 -30 miles back which would be a total of 85 to 95 miles making it .99 per mile under $100.00 plus taxes plus two day rental 40.00 grand total shpuld have been around 150 no more than 160 but we were charged 274.00 for what i was told was for driving over 191 miles. We did not drive to Chicago or anywhere driving 191 miles. When i asked about how a half tank of gas could drive 200 miles he had to get off and figure it out cause it made no sense at all! But when gm called baxk he came up with some kind of so many miles per tank........which made no sense so to get credited 50 is a disgrace for miles WE DID NOT DRIVE! I we have always used uhaul but after this rip off i would never recommend them. Also this overdrew my bank acct as i figured it wouldnt be but 150 or so!! Very very angry frustrated and disappointed!!

I am very dissatisfied with uhaul. They sent me to another location and then didn’t even have the size of uhaul I needed. Didn’t call me til time of my reservation time. Very unmanageable

We ended up at this location after having an impossible time completing our online rental that required access through the app. I spent half an hour on the phone to get the issue resolved and by then had driven to this location and completed an on the spot rental. They were great. The online process needs work. I had to call twice and each time was on hold for at least 10 minutes before I even talked to someone. Then the person I talked to put me on hold while she figures things out and the hold music was so quiet I wasn’t even sure if I was still on hold or had been disconnected. I definitely won’t use the the process that involves the app again.

I signed up for mobile 24/7 pickup, signed up for 9am pickup, but a truck was not assigned to me until a few minutes after 9. The website recommended going before the appointment time to make sure the full rental time could be used for moving but I was unable to do this.

I made a reservation for 12noon and it was confirmed. But at the point of pickup I was told that my reservation was moved to 2:15pm. That was absolutely disappointing. The manager checked and discovered that the change was done by someone in the Arizona call Centre. He did however offer me a cargo van instead of the truck I reserved. I’ll give this location 5stars but U-Haul customer service is give 0 stars.

William was so great! friendly and he made the entire process very easy and quick. The truck transmission was kind of jittery...I took surface streets because the truck did not seem like it would do 55 easily. Next time I will request a smaller truck, perhaps that will help me.

Great customer service! When I arrived to pick up my reservation I was greeted and taken to my truck rental. Drop off was breeze as well! Thank you for being awesome!

One improvement opportunity I would recommend is an upgrade to the radios in the trucks. In the equipment I rented, the radio was a standard AM/FM radio. Fortunately, I only needed the truck for a local move. But, for people moving across the country, an Aux input and/or satellite radio could greatly enhance the experience.

We could not access the vehicle. Justin did call us back as did Will. But Justin said he would give us a discounted price because of our trouble (standing in rain for 30 minutes trying to get a lock off a truck that Will admitted was very finicky and difficult). Upon returning the vehicle they denied saying that and did not honor the discount.

The person who checked the truck after drop off stole the hat I left inside. I dropped off after hours, realized I had left my hat on the dash and called immediately. I went back 36 hours later and they couldn't find the hat. I took a picture of it sitting on the dash, no question it was there and now it's just gone.

So many overnight returns that I had to move the trailer I was returning around manually. I realize you can't stop people from not thinking about those coming after them, but maybe create a little more room for after-hours returns. Luckily, the driveways were plenty big to maneuver my truck and trailer around, and then move the trailer. Please looked good... I'll come back when I need a truck or trailer again.
