I did not receive the truck I reserved and was given a size smaller. I made it work but pursued the $50 reservation guarantee. I was unable to get in touch with a manager until almost a week later. The manager tried to talk me out of it by saying that Uhaul reserves the right to make changes, etc. After a while, the manager relented and said that she'd honor the guarantee. It was not a pleasant conversation for either of us and I'm skeptical I'll see that money.Andrew M.
I ordered a truck from a different place. When I got there they didn't have a truck and said if they don't then the order would be re-routed to the closest place that does and that place should call to confirm the switch. He also said this location I picked up from is notorious for not calling. They didn't call me either. Was not happy as I never got an email from U-Haul either.COURTNEY ANN B.
I went into the Cedar/Jolly location a year and a half to two years ago and it seemed like an unorganized mess. I was hesitant to go back but it's the most convenient one. I was beyond pleased with the difference in cleanliness, customer service, and overall organization that I saw. Huge change from a year and a half ago! I was a little apprehensive about my things being safe at this store due to location but Jordan Martin took me to where my belongings would be held and showed me how secure the area was and that everything is under surveillance. Jordan was so friendly, personable, and reassuring which made me feel safe. I will be coming here for future services and also be recommending this location to everyone!!! Excellent job!!!! The truck we were given to use didn't run very well, we had it die on us and had to get a jump start when we mentioned it while returning it the manager said they were aware that truck wasn't in good condition and had done that to other customers. That truck should not be on the roadBrandon K.

Keep track of stuff better or get the return process down I returned the trailer same day as pick up(8:30ish am) and returned it around 2:30 pm went inside talked to someone who directed me where to park the trailer and then unhooked it from my truck and said I was good to go The next day around 8am I got a call asking to return the trailer, ive been keeping an eye on my credit card to make sure I'm not charged extraAIDAN COBURN S.

Water leaked into my furniture and bags inside the truck, I had to wash up all of them and then dry them up. One of mattresses too got wet on one side. Drive was fine but I will not rent the same truck again if water is getting into my furniture.JAYAKRISHNA T.

I have no disputes. The unit was clean and we'll kept. My issue with the employees was not the local employees. The issue was that I couldn't ever get through to management at Cedar and Jolly. I had togo to the hospital from the extreme amount of cat urine, spray, and cat hair in the van! I was having breathing problems so bad they kept me overnight! Not to mention i was over charged for the millage rate! Was told 29Â¢ and was charged 69Â¢. Customer service hung up on me after 55 minutes on hold! His name was Gill but also mumbled another name at first! Tanner or tate at the cedar and jolly location said he will take care of everything, he did alright! By over charging me and putting the van right back out for rental without cleaning it! I could not even move the things i wanted it was that bad! So refund my rental or pay my hospital bill! The reason I did not give 5 stars is, because of the Access hours. I forgot to ask about it and the staff member did not inform me the day I got the unit. I spent close to an hour, trying to get through to customer service, to ask about the hours, just to find out the access hours is the same as the store hours, unless I wanted to pay to have after hours access. Tried to use 24/7 pickup, but my truck was not prepped or put in an accessible location. Had to wait for store to open to get truck. On return of the truck, neither the uhaul app or website would upload pictures making return difficult also. 24/7 pickup/rideshare need MAJOR improvements!Justin V.

There were cigarette burns all over inside of the truck, the truck had been in an accident and we were basically "pushed" out of the store when we got the truck. The truck was not ready we had to sit and wait for someone to get it which made us late for where we needed to be and now I see that I am being charged $79.00 for another day?? There was only one person working when I arrived at 8:20 to pick up a small utility trailer I had reserved for 8:30. It took 50 minutes for me to get the trailer that I had reserved. When I returned it after lunch, there were four people working inside but none of them came out to help me return the trailer. After waiting outside for a few minutes like the signage suggested for someone to help I went inside and found the four workers just chatting at the counter with one of them with his feet up on the counter. Not the kind of customer service I would expect from any company. I think I will just go and buy my own trailer the next time I need one.JEFFREY LYNN L.
I used the smart phone check out and when I went inside they couldn't find the key for the truck I checked out. The woman at the counter cancelled that reservation and set me up in an older truck. When I returned the truck I went to the desk and turned in the key. I asked did they need the mileage and was told no they'll get it when the truck is checked in. I left and received a call the next day asking when I was returning the truck. I told the lady I returned the truck and she said she'd check and call me back. She called back and said I returned the truck. Not a good experience.Travon H.
No response from management at the store after multiple attempts. Spent over 5 hours on hold, only to have my call answered each time by the corporate call center, saying the store couldn't be reached and that they'd leave a note for management to call me. Still waiting on the call almost a month later. Was over charged as I only needed 3 uboxes not 4 as the store originally recommended. Highly unorganized and poor customer service. The employee who was up front was just sitting down while four + people were in line. We walked in and no one greeted us, we had to ask the people in line if they'd been helped. Then we went up to the employee and stood there and the guy said nothing to us. Had to ask him if he's helping someone already or what. Finally a girl came in, her name tag said owner. When picking up, this Location was understaffed. The one representative at the counter mentioned there were two others, but he did know know where they were at that time, about 5:30 PM. The rep decided to count the money in the register, after accepting my cash payment, for reasons unknown to me. He did not appear he was sure of the process to complete my rental - a reservation completed using the U-Haul mobile app. He seemed impatient during the light check after the trailer hook-up, not allowing me a couple of seconds to active the turn signals, brake, etc. During the drop off at 7:20 AM the next day, the location was understaffed, only one rep to handle incoming and outgoing rentals & sales. There was not ample currency in the cash register to make change for the return of my deposit less the rental fee. The "system" -he said - tried to charge me an "after ours" fee when my pickup and drop off were withing the location's operating hours. He did correct this error. Again this rep, although different from rep that handled my pickup, did not seem a full understanding of what should happen. He spent more time making negative comments about the previous shift than directly handling customers. I know of at least two customers that left during my 45 minute wait. Too much time was spent with the customer in front of me trying to match a trailer to his vehicle, when this location did not have a trailer his vehicle could safely tow. After about 45 minutes, the rep identified another location that had a trailer his vehicle could tow safely. Thank you U-Haul for the mobile app as I am sure I would have been at this location for several hours had I not completed the reservation and express check in using the U-Haul. U-Haul is my go to place for trailer and truck rental and I have never experienced such dis-function as this location provided.William B.
I thought the cost was going to be 19 95 to rent the truck and when I got there I found out that you charge $0.79 a mile on top of the cost of the truck rental. If I was aware of this I would not have rented the truck I would have just borrowed a buddies pickupJEFFREY SCOTT P.

Awful experience. Understaffed and no manager available to address a problem. UBox not ready at pick up and had to wait an hour to get it set up on a trailer. Then on date of retrieval from storage, the staff couldn't find the Box. Was sent twice to an off-site location and then back to main place. Finally called in a employee who know where it was -- 2 hours later the "found" the box. On top of all of this, I was charged for two Uboxes and have still not be given a refund of $98.00.JEAN M.

I had a reservation for 8/28/21 at 11am. No truck was available. Marvin said I could come back at 9am the next day to possibly get a truck since they had a lot of returns due back. I went 8/29/21 am. They asked if I had a reservation, I said no the guy told me to come in and try to rent. Lady that helped me was very friendly and did end up giving me a truck. The guy Marvin told me I'd have a $50 credit for guarantee, which the lady told me he should have given me a discount code, which he did not do. So I never got my full $50 credit.
