The guy who installed or hooked up the trailer on to our truck was very rude didnt say a word to us, and he knew the trailer was defective and didnt mention it to us.. when we got home and tried to unhook it we couldnt get the trailer to go down or unscrewâ€¦ we had a very hard time with this trailerLiliana A.
My experience picking up my truck was the single worst interaction I have ever had with a service provider. I reserved the truck with the 24/7 pick up and confirmed in advance it was set up with the agent that called me before my pick up. When I arrived at the store at 730 am, the 24/7 pick-up would not work. I waited on hold for a total of 30 minutes only to be told there was nothing that could be done to help me. I waited until 9 am when the store opened. I alerted the counter clerk (Javon) that I had waited since 730 am. He told me it didn't matter because they didn't open until 9 am. When I informed him about the 24/7 pick-up, he said it wasn't his problem, and he didn't care. This rude behavior was on top of the customer service agent telling the manager I was waiting earlier in the morning for him to decline coming to the location to help me before 9 am. Javon was extremely aggressive with me and threatened not to rent the truck to me because I complained about his poor service. Poor service is one thing, but being threatened and dealt with aggressively is unacceptable. When Kevin called me a few days later, based on my complaint, he left a message informing me that they didn't open until 9 am, which is why I couldn't get my truck. This shows a complete lack of competence on his part as he should know the 24/7 pick-up is offered, and he should have researched my account before calling me. When I called him back, I alerted him to the significant issues, and he put me on hold. When he returned, he offered me $50 for the trouble. There was no apology or assurance that the issues I experienced would be addressed. I cannot express my disappointment and disgust with these men, if this is the example of what Uhaul has to offer, I will never rent with them again.Edna T.

The day before the move we received information that our pick up location had been changed. It was now 30 mins away from our home instead of the 2 mins that was planned. When we finally got there to pick up the truck the lady inside was super helpful and nice however another male employee walked out with a dead rat and was showing it to the lady right in front of us. I used the U-Box service 7 years ago which was seamless and a friendly experience. Unfortunately that was not the case this time. Service was absolutely horrible, decision regarding my containers were made without my consent or even following up with me. My first container arrived late. My account was charge numerous times due to the lack of experienced customer service. I am still waiting on someone to contact me regarding the first container being shipped later than contracted agreement terms. I am baffled at how much time I spent on the phone with the Traffic scheduling agents and with agents at the actual storage locations. I am sad to say I will NEVER use the U-box service again.Leslie P.
Drop off is a busy intersection. Pulled in like the side said for return and was informed by employee that I had to go through the gate to the right. No help to stop traffic from anyone so spent 20 minutes back and forth in a small parking lot to turn get turned around. Looked at my watch and it did take 20 minutes. Finally get over to the correct place but no one or signage to say where to drop off. Finally employee shows up and directs me to back the trailer up to unhook. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.DAVID A.

I scheduled this online and found there were some discrepancies between what I thought I ordered from the website but then later was told that was not the case. On the website it would be great to add a suggestion/reminder about buying a lock for the u-box. That one suggestion alone would have saved me a lot of time and frustration. The people that I dealt with at the store were very nice, friendly and helpful. The person I spoke to on the phone the day before I went was NOT helpful or friendly. She also gave me incorrect information over the phone - which added more frustration to the process as well.Laurie F.

The staff was rude and angry. I had two different men give me extreme attitude. They did eventually do their job, but only after complaining and yelling at me. This overall uhaul experience was very bad. I still don't know why I was charged an extra 71 dollars today. I did everything as told by the lady at falfurrias and the men at MacArthur. Originally, I had a pickup location at 2630 W Irving Blvd, Irving, TX 75061. I received a call the day after I booked telling me my pickup location would change due to availability. When I showed up on the day to the new pick-up location at 3343 Country Club Dr W, Irving, TX 75038, no one was at the location and I had to be directed last minute to another location. I understand these things can happen, but I had to pay for additional mileage and gas because of it. Overall, worst experience I have ever had with uhaul. The final location (920 McArthur) did a great job, but the situation was ridiculous and I feel like at the very least mileage and gas should have been compensated somehow.Jose M.

My biggest complaint about U-Haul is the my APP doesn't work & the 800 number has a LONG wait time to get a Live person to assist you... This is something I feel needs to be addressed immediately.. ! !Dicky F.
Terrible experience at this location. They gave the truck I reserved to someone else, so I had to take a smaller truck. Wrote down my credit card information because their system was down. Told to go get the truck without showing it to me or checking the mileage/gas gauge. I should've had them check because when I returned the truck they charged me a gas fee even though I filled the truck up over the 1/4 tank, when I got it with a 1/4. They said it was 7/8 full when rent which was a lie. I even had pictures of the mileage and gas gauge, but they wouldn't take that into consideration. Said they couldn't do anything about it. They couldn't do anything about them not doing their job correctly, not having the truck I reserved 3 days prior and having terrible management. This location is just bad.Ernes S.

We had a reservation and a confirmation for a trailer, but when we got there to pick it up - It was not available at facility... Clerk did get us a van, but we had to pay mileage and more for it... This made moving more difficult because Van DID NOT fit in parking garage as the trailer would have. Totally made it more difficult! VERY INCONVENIENT!!! The keys weren't available for the truck - we couldn't even use it. So do I get the $50 guarantee back? Because we drove there then couldn't pick up the new fridge we paid for and now 2 days later we are able to do it and have to pay again.Rory W.
I was charged nearly twice the regular rate for a tow dolly. I have given this location a lot of business in the last 6 months and then got screwed on a tow dolly. The next day I rented another tow dolly, from another location not far from this one, and received a fair price, nearly half of the price from the day prior. Getting in and out of this location is terrible. Two entranced not marked well for where trailers go for return. Truck return and customer parking in same place and got blocked in when picking up trailer until other customer left.JAMES B.

Customer service is not great. There was no explanation details of process for 1st time renting U-Haul & representatives didn't all seem that interested in dealing with the customer. This was a "Cold" service: Transaction without any warm customer interaction. It was like give me your license, how are you going to pay, and the trucks outside with the key. Rented a 6x12 Trailer. After loading and ready to go, I found out I had a flat tire. I tried roadside assistance and 2 U-haul stores and know one would help me. These trailers do not have spare tires and know way to change them. on top of that I had to buy a tire for the trailer.Andrew S.

1. General Manager was not wearing a mask. 2. I told him we had a corporate account and he wrote the rental up under my personal name then had to provide a credit card. 3. I was told to set up a personal account and app to keep from being charged a $20 after hours drop off after explaining we had a corporate acct. 4. I rented the van because i was picking up 30 pieces of art only to find it dirty and not clean.David W.
