The online check-in is waaaaay too long and depends on good internet service on a phone which is not reliable in all locations like Phoenix. I almost did not complete it because I had a plane to catch. Either stay open longer, or allow a simple drop key drop off procedure. The scheduling process was a mess. It was also stated that I would only incur one delivery charge when I signed up. I was charged twice. They were delivered to the new address on the wrong day and placed in the middle of the drive blocking contractors. They were delayed getting picked up because of truck malfunction.Marc N.

This locations front drive is currently under major renovations. I needed a little more help knowing where to stop and park my rental truck to drop off and signage to the door. This is a busy facility right now and passage is difficult.Kevin S.
My Ubox containers arrived 13 days late, and i was only refunded for 4 days. I have emails stating the guaranteed arrival date being Nov 4, and they didnt arrive until Nov 16th. When trying to get my refund they said it was only 4 days late because of â€œtheir notesâ€ that were taken while speaking on the phone. Extremely disappointed and will not be using Uhaul's containers ever again. They also sent my delivery driver (Jess- who had excellent customer service and was a pleasure to work with) to the wrong facility to pick up my containers to deliver, causing her to be late on Nov 16th. I have no problem with her as she was more than helpful, but everything else in my experience would be rated 0/10.Alice H.

Made a reservation and received confirmation email. Staff could not locate the reservation initially and when they did find it in their system, they said it was no longer available. Came back the next day during access hours, but the staff had forgotten to open the doors. From start to finish, a negative experience here. Communication among employees aren't the greatest. I was there a day prior to needing a pod brought down & the " manager" said " ok I'll set it up" "what time do you think you'll be back?" When I initially went to get my storage unit after booking online the staffcat the location where very standoffish. I had a few questions regarding the information they were asking me for and the manager told the woman that was helping me that if I did not answer the questions I could just go somewhere else. The ladies that delivered my U-Boxes were excellent, courteous, on-time and pleasant to work with. My issue is I was charged an $86 delivery that was not communicated to me when the reservation was made for delivery. I do not like surprise fees when I expected delivery to be included in the original contract cost.Jason G.

Mother and 16ish year old son running this location? They couldn't help us unload our trailer and told us to do it ourselves- NOT purposeful or helpful. Very poor customer service.Jarrod U.
I rented an open bed truck from this location based on the inventory available at the time of a reservation only to be told upon arrival there was never a truck available and I would have to call customer service to find a location in the valley that had one. I drive from the east valley to this location based on the availability this facility had. This location was no where near my home and way out of my way. It's ridiculous that uhaul would make a customer chase a unit all over the valley. We are the customers and I should not have to worry that when I make a reservation for a truck that I would have to worry about how inconvenient it would become to rent from you. Absolutely shameful this is how you allow your service to be. I received no notice that after driving all the way to a faculty that the truck I rented was not even available.MICHAEL F.

My contract drop off show a location near my house. Got a phone call to change the drop off location a lot further! I filled up the truck to the exact amount for the contracted drop off location. I was told to tell the new location manager not to be charged for the difference. The lady at the office did not give me the time of the day. They charged me $25 anyway for fuel!?!?! Loved the employees so much. The truck smelled like cigarettes and had roll down windows. The dome light didn't work. But for the price I was fine with it. I would rent from uHaul and this location again. The staff went well beyond my expectations. I ordered online yet the check in was confusing me and the assistant manager took the time to help me check in and get the truck.Eilynn C.
The facility was good. The operation of getting a rental on the other hand is another story. The process took forever ! They need to figure a way to speed it up, for sure.Mark K.
The main issue we had was that the U-boxes were not loaded onto trailers for pick-up on the date we had them scheduled. We had scheduled pick-up of all U-boxes for Saturday the 9th. When I arrived for pick-up, none of them were on trailers. The forklift operator loaded 2 of them for me. He was he would come back later to load the others. When my wife arrived for the final two trailers, she had to wait 30 minutes for the forklift operator. He them only loaded one more box onto a trailer. I called the GM of the location Sunday morning and explained the situation. He then came in on Sunday to take care of the last box. Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful. But the mix-up and frustration with the U-boxes is something that should be remedied in the future.FREDERICK K.

The van I rented was horrible. The inside was extremely dirty and unsanitary. i had to wipe down major touch items prior to operation and followed-up with a sanitary clean before commuting on my trip. The back of the van was sticky and transferred disgusting residue onto my items I was hauling. The van reeked of cigarette smoke and I had to ventilate and spray the inside of the van to attempt to de-smoke it. The van was out of alignment and made for a horrible commute. It was clearly visible that the steering wheel was not straight when the van was parked with wheels positioned straight. Additionally, the auxiliary power outlet closest to the driver was not functional and made it a challenging trip to reach across the dash to use the other outlet on the dash. The van was returned to you cleaner and more sanitary than it was provided to me. Though the staff was very welcoming and accommodating, I do not plan to rent from this place again due to lack of care and concern for your vehicles and those that use them.MICHELL E.
My uhaul had alot of damages and their was barley any gas in the truck. I tried to extend and got charged for an extra day even though they sent me to the wrong address twice for a truck at 1:30am. Sent pictures to customer service to let them know and got no apology nothing just pay us. I called later and spoke to a rep who was able to extend my truck for a return time of 2:20pm with no charge and still got charged. Just stucks because all of this could have been avoided if the truck was at the location agreed on and the tank was full . I asked for a furniture dolly which wasn't in the truck and the truck smelled like old BO and old food. Just horrible. At 1:30am this not something you want to deal with. Due to this experience i canceled my storage unit and will find another company next time i move!!!!!Saundra P.

They over charged me. I did the dealer a favor by returning the truck back to Phoenix from flagstaff on their request. And they charged me for extra mileage. I called and was placed on hold for over 30 mins. Never got through. I should have not been charged the gas or mileage fee. Very disappointing and well not use again.JUSTIN K.

Computers were super slow it took forever to get our truck which we had reserved a day prior. Then, they totally botched my charges. They charged me for fuel despite the fact that we fueled up before returning the truck. They checked it in late (6pm) even though we turned it at 3pm (I have a receipt to prove it) and tried to charge me for 2 days. They charged me card twice and the refund has yet to be processed. This experience was absolutely ridiculous. I had to go to three different locations to find a truck. I reserved a vehicle for 6:30am 24/7 pickup, and I still had to run around to find what I needed. The truck was loaded with the incorrect add ons that I paid for. I reserved movers through U-Haul as well, and everyone was delayed because of the truck. This was a horrible experience, and no one knew what they were doing or had a sense of urgency. I wish I could give zero stars.Bianca C.

SO I DRIVE TO STORE SITE TO ADVISE OF ISSUES AND THAT I NEED TO KEEP THE TRUCK AN EXTRA DAY. GUY WAS NICE APOLOGETIC AND OFFERED NOT TO CHARGE FOR NEXT DAY. I TURN IT IN NEXT DAY WITH DIFFERENT GUY (NICE GUY NOT AROUND) BEING RUDE. I ADVISE OF NO CHARGE FROM OTHER GUY (WHICH RUDE GUY TRIED TO CHARGE EVEN MORE..TRUED TO CHARGE FOR 3 DAYS N I ONLY KEPT IT FOR 2) BASICALLY CALLED ME A LIAR THEN SAID OK YOUR CHARGE IS $9.95 FOR EXTRA MILES. One of the personnel which is the manager over all the managers there, he was white, he's definitely rude and don't know how to be a moral exemplar or customer service, due to him being rude to me a customer I will not recommend or be coming back to this uhaul place. I waited 15 minutes - interrupted a customer service rep to say I was just returning a truck - he was able to email me my receipt. I regret not waiting because perhaps the mileage issue could have been addressed. I had a ride waiting and felt I could not hold my friend up any longer. I usually choose U-Haul. I've used Enterprise once and I may go back to them...fred H.

The clerk took me to the truck and removed the keys from the back of the truck and did not tell me what to do with the keys when I returned. I was only gone less than two hrs because I got a call from hospice that my mother was close to death and to hurry home. I went to a gas station and filled up the truck and when I got back to the uhaul office no one was there and it was only 2:00pm. I knocked on the door and called the number but got no response. I was frantic to get to my mom so I locked the keys in the truck and left. this was august 18th. Yesterday Sept 8th my bank account was charged $1666.96 with no explaination, phone call or email of any kind. I went to the uhaul office where I rented the truck and no one was there and have made phone calls and left messages but no one is getting back to me.jack R.
