Excellent crew at this location. The crew at this location said they would back my claims after seeing the damage to the truck I was given to drive. They couldn't believe a location would have allowed this truck on the road.Brian S.
The car trailer was good. The truck was terrible. It ran rough, the A/C didn't work and the suspension wandered horribly loaded or empty. Everyone at the rental facility were nice and friendly. If I need anything beyond a trailer, I'll go back to Penske. I'll take the hit in customer service for a safer, better maintained truck.Brian C.

The layout of the parking area is designed in such a way that it prevents people from having the sufficient space to maneuver their vehicles for loading/unloading. What happened to customer service? First they didn't let me use my family employee discount. Then made me go find the truck and check it for damage gas and mileage. Shouldn't you be waking out with me? I don't work for uhaul and I'm paying over a $100 to do everything myself. I drove the truck 70 miles and put $25 gas back in it and they still charged me an additional $26. The truck was not clean and it ended up raining and the brakes on the truck did not make me feel safe.GENEVA W.

The Major Movers Customer Service Agent in charge of following up and make sure the movers are scheduled! Never contacted me! I had to call her to confirm the week prior to our move. Then I called the evening before our scheduled move. She seem like I was disturbing her. She said that I had already called once and yes the movers are still scheduled. On the next morning they were scheduled to be at our storage location at 9am. It was a few minutes before 9am and no one had called or had arrived. I then called the Agent to inquire that they were still coming? Her reply to me was I don't know where they are and that she doesn't live with them! I was taken back with her attitude I told her the she was rude! She made the excuse that she is in bed with covid and that I keep bothering her! If this is the service that U Haul recommends, I will never book through this service ever again!! The customer service was Horrible to say the least!! The movers ended up being late one arrived @ 10am the the other one arrived @ 10:20. Then when the guys were through loading the truck she was talking to them and had them ask me for another payment code. I told her that I only had one code for this mover. She told me that she has another ticket for my move. I tried to explain that I had requested another moving company The Gentle movers at the other end of our move which was 1 hr. And 45 min. away. She told me that I didn't know what I was talking about and insisted that I give her another payment code. Not thinking that she understood what I was telling her I repeated myself several times. She got really nasty to me and I told her off! The experience with this representative from Major Movers was NOT professional at all! Then she continued to text me indicating that I didn't know what was scheduled for the next movers and that I need to give her another payment codeâ€¦ I finally told her I a text that I didn't want her help and not to contact me again!! She continued texting and I finally told her that I will be filing a complaint on her to U Haul! I never heard another word from her! This experience was unbelievable! The Gentle Movers Helena was the exact opposite! She contacted me several times through the week prior to our scheduled move. She was extremely helpful and accommodating! I enjoyed working with her and I will contact them again if I ever need her service! She was exceptionally Wonderful!!RHONDA G.

Gas marking on contract did not match with what was in truck. Took picture in case of a dispute which did happen. Gas charge was removed but employee was non descript in his effort and did not apologize. Truck has trash in the cab from previous user. Truck also had several warning lights on indicating the need for service.MICHAEL M.
No sense of urgency from any of the associates! At the time I rented my truck the location was not crowded or busy. I had questions with four different people. I could not get the Moblie App to work to rent my truck. Also, I was too weak to open the truck back door. The energy in the building was very laid-back with no sense of urgency. One associate was vaping and hopefully he was on his break. When I returned the truck I still could not get the Mobile App to work to; some issue with turning on the location. I called Customer Service spoke with Barbie (she was very helpful) and spoke to a store associate and they both told me I would not be charged the $20 overnight return fee. I was charged, then had to be issued a credit. It was an inconvenience to me that the mobile app didn't work in the first place. Then I had to calli again and email about the credit that I had already spoken about.Johnny H.

The first vehicle that they tried to give me was heavily damaged to where one headlight assembly was just swinging. The second started vibrating violently on the highway and I had to get another. The second vehicle was given to me right after another customer returned it. It was cleaned but not inspected before being sent back out. My advice would be to have the damaged vehicles repaired or replaced and inspect all before sending them back out.Duane J.

The 1st truck assigned to me needed maintenance. It sounded loud and horrible. The 2nd truck had ant infestation. It was not a pleasant experienceYinka I.
One guy was slouched over counter on his cell phone. The truck was parked in a corner between others and when I asked help to find from one guy in the maintenance bay, it was obvious I was disturbing his texting. The interior of the truck was terrible. Seats were destroyed. Check engine light was on in truck. I wouldn't recommend this location.MYRON E.

I know this will probably not be acknowledged but some serious training needs to be administered ASAP. I always use u haul, but this made me want to go elsewhere. The young man who reserved my unit was friendly, professional, and helpful. However, the young lady who checked me in was indifferent, unfriendly and unengaging. She neither smiled nor thanked me for my service. Additionally the office area is much too cluttered and hazardous and the loading dock platform had jagged something or other hanging around the edge in some areas and there were loose rocks in the parking lot near the front, which one of my helpers almost tripped over. These issues lower the rating considerably for my experience and made me reconsider using the more professional, safer, and convenient higher priced Extra Storage Space.Doris W. | First Impressions

The second unit - which I had booked online - had no lock inside as promised according to the rep. When I went to the office, I realized I needed an additional (3rd) unit. The rep decided it was more important for her to sell me my third unit and THEN charge me for a lock, rather than to inform me that I would get a free lock if I stood there and booked the unit online.
