I returned the trailer at around 8:30 PM. I followed the instructions on the website. All went well until I took a pic of the inside of the trailer. There was no "upload" method. I tried it three times. No luck. We called for phone help, waited 10 minutes or so, but the person could not help, got transferred to someone else who instructed me to send THREE pics to her via E mail. Online check in wasn't very user friendly and didn't work. My truck was returned early and then I received a call the following day asking when I would be returning it. So it was never checked in. Poor communicationApril D.
The pick ups and vans do not go out of state so they really need to have snow tires and not seasonials in states that have snow. This location in Lebanon is the best u-haul location I have ever had the pleasure of using. The personal go above and beyond at all times.Nanci S.

Everything was excellent overall, staff was friendly and helpful as always. Truck was clean on the inside but splattered with thick mud all over the outside. It would have been nicer to have a clean truck, or a partial refund off the full price for having to drive a (really) dirty truck.Steven S.

The manager was immature and very loud on a phone call while his two employees were trying to tell me info and respond to my questions. He would randomly interrupt with an answer, which came with two options for the answer, the correct one and incorrect one,(he didn't know which was which) then would say, (while on a phone call) one of them will figure it out and let you know. The two associates were not wearing masks at all but were very polite.wanda L.

The people working did not seem the friendliest. I mentioned that we had a bum wheel on the furniture dolly, but they made no effort to refund or sympathize with us about it. It wasn't useful or used at all, and I would have appreciated a refund for that rental. I didn't want to argue about it because they didn't seem approachable. Especially disappointing because we returned it with 1/4 tank of gas MORE than we were supposed to...Joshua C.

Apparently I was given a trailer with bald, illegal tires with one that blew out on the road and the other had to be replaced the next day! The roadside guys did a great job but I shouldn't have to pay for this rental!Robert K.

Be aware that, although the store manager will tell you, that he will check in you returned equipment.......do not listen to him/her and do it yourself. By doing so yourself, you will avoid that $20 convenience fee. I would not recommend the Lebanon NH location, nor will I return for any more services from U haul. Georgegeorge M.

Staff was helpful and friendly. However, I will be getting charged an extra $20 because I tried to drop off after hours. There was an employee there who told us to "put the key in the box and check in on the app." Unfortunately, putting the key in the box made it so that we could not access the information needed to check the vehicle back in (mileage, etc.). It was not explained to us by ANYONE or on any signage that we had to still have access to the vehicle when checking it back in to get the pertinent information for check-in. There was nothing I could do. VERY bad system. It would help if the $20 could be forgiven.Matthew S.

Though the 800 UHaul number told me I could recycle boxes at this location, when I arrived they told me they would not accept the boxes i had loaded in the truck â€œbecause of covidâ€. That was a lie because one of their workers had earlier told me to take the boxes into the office. Later, another employee told me they stopped recycling boxes because they couldn't make money doing it. In addition to not accepting the boxes they did not offer any ideas for how to resolve the situation. This was a horrible end to what had been a pleasant moving experience.Thomas C.

I arrived unaware that U-Haul will not rent a trailer to depart without lights. It would be nice if that were something I had to acknowledge when I made my on-line reservation without reading all the fine print. My friend had acquired a used vehicle with a receiver and had never checked whether there were lights - U-Haul rep was alone and not certified to do lights, anyway. My friend discovered that he DID have a socket to connect lights, and the U-Haul rep was sufficiently knowledgeable to find in inventory & sell us the appropriate connector to pass the lights inspection, even though such wasn't promised without an advance reservation.Kelly S.

I rented the truck from Blakeman's in Tunbridge VT. When I went there to pick it up I was told they didn't have one, even though I called them specifically to confirm it! I then had to drive all the way back to Lebanon. It put me way behind.SUSAN P.

When people are moving they need support. I bought 3 boxes and left them outside while the truck was being pulled out. The gentleman PICK UP: I bought the boxes from pulled the truck around, threw in some blankets I had ordered and then closed the door. I was looking at my phone to go over the damage info and assumed he had put the boxes in the truck as he closed the door. DROP OFF-The girl helping me at drop off was really helpful. The contract said add 1.7 gallons to get it back to where it was which seemed way too little, but I went and added 2 gallons and it did not bring it up to the 1 bar above empty point. The code we were given with the online check-in process didn't work, and the woman manning the desk had no idea how to fix it. She found another woman who tried to fix it and couldn't. Then they asked another man who worked there who tried to give me a key card and the key card wouldn't work. So I went back and waited with my stuff (and crew of people who were helping unload the truck) until they got me a keycard that could access the place where my unit was. On to the unit. The storage unit we were given was marketed as a 10 x 15, but when we arrived there was a massive square removed from it (for I'm assuming stairs to the upstairs). For 200 dollars a month I was expecting (and needed) a full 10 x 15 storage unit. Very disappointed about this.Stephanie R. | Online Move In
