The driver door does not close easily so it would be good to address this as it requires one to close the hard really hard for it to close well. Also, I reserved the truck at a different location but when we showed up at the original location, there was not truck. Yet, nobody contacted me in advance to alert me of this. When I called the UHaul number, the lady was rude and unhelpful, even hanging up on me. It was the UHaul representative with scheduling who solved my problem finding a location with a 10 feet \ truck available and reserving it for me. Kudos to him!VERONICA R.

I needed help after hours and messaged the number given, which is supposed to be available after hours, the person responded that they can't answer any calls bow so u said we can text. As I'm new and have never come after hours, I didn't know where the check in box was and just needed some directions to locate the check in box. But no reply to text or calls. Was stranded because the chair I want to put in storage was too big for my car and someone had helped dropped it off. That night was not good and very frustrating. Martin loaded an appliance dolly in the back of my 15' truck but did not secure the door. I came 3 inches from losing that dolly on the freeway and it going through someone's windshield. Facility is top-notch. Location of my units were not entirely convenient to parking but could have been much worse. No elevators must be very difficult for some people. Some staff were very helpful and friendly, such as Steven Leyva and Ruben (can't remember his last name but worked on Sunday 11/14/21 with Steven). Had an issue in my first unit; "making it right" seemed like an inconvenience to the GM and weekend manager rather than a customer service concern; it didn't make me feel good when I was trying my best to be understanding, but they didn't actually do anything wrong. I have no complaint about anyone or about the service or facility. I simply didn't need the service any longer. If someone wanted a clean and very secure place for storing their things and had the budget for UHaul, I would recommend this location.brittney w. | Overall Experience

Took out truck and drove it for 3 miles and check engine turned on , so I returned box truck back to location . But over all service was great â€¦JOSE R.
There was no orange drop box as shown on the video to leave the keys. We checked in the truck but couldn't leave the keys. Found out the next morning that we could've left the keys through the mailbox slot next to the door. However, we didn't see the slot and there was no sign indicating to drop the keys through the mailbox slot. Needless to say, we had to go back and drop off the keys the next day.CARLOS C.

1. Should ask if vehicle is wired to tow at time of reservation. 2. On day of reservation, went to San Antonio Tx, Grissom location, no Hitch Pro electrician available. 3. Went to Ingram Park location. Directed me to Vance Jackson. 4. No Hitch Pro available, but bought wiring kit. 5. Made reservation at Vance Jackson to have wiring installed at Ingraham Park next AM. 6. Went to Ingram Park for install. Good and fast install. Decided I needed 6x12 not 5x8. Not available at Ingram Park, 7. Went back to Grissom Road. Manager said Walmart 2" ball with half inch shaft "might shear off". Installed UHaul ball with 1" shaft. Everyone was courteous and seemed willing to help, but due to lack of personnel and equipment, a 3 hour task turned into a 2 day bout of frustration. The equipment was good and I completed the move. Gave me a truck with the check engine light, which ended up being an 02 sensor so not sure if that had an effect on my gas mileage but I'm sure it did. I also ordered a dolly but was told they did not have one on the day I picked up uhaul which was a huge inconvenience. ended up costing me an additional 50$ to purchase at wal mart since my order was not correct. Also, the windshield wipers on truck was due for a change as well.Christopher S.

If I could give a negative 0 I would. My overall experience was awful. They did not have all my order after I had a reservation for 3 weeks ahead. Then staff was slow, manager wasn't helpful to try get me the rest of the items I needed. Didn't offer anything for my inconvenience. Alex and the other staff at the office were patient and helpful, especially when I had to call the UHaul Office on Hwy 90 to extend our time to turn in the truck.
