â€¢ Have a vehicle that matches a reservation. â€¢ Accurate billing. â€¢ Coordination and communication between online reservations and field offices. Namely, this lamentable and unfortunate experience started on 3 JAN 2022. Chiefly, I arrived at the designated location on Mercer Boulevard in Macon, GA as outlined by Reservation# 26890193 only to find that there was no vehicle. This was confirmed by Dealer Ms. Rochelle Williams. Now, I had to take the time, effort, and mileage out of my schedule and locate an alternate U-Haul dealer. As a result, I arrived at Gray Highway in Macon, GA and rented from Deale Ms. Lakeza Singleton In transit, I received a call from a Columbus, GA U-Haul Dealer at 1516 hrs. informing me that they would have to cancel my reservation at that location. A reservation and location I never requested and was not part of my itinerary. As an illustration, my original location on Mercer Boulevard and the Columbus location are approximately 120 miles apart. Lastly, upon completing my use of the vehicle which comprised four hours, I returned the vehicle to the Grey Highway location and took part in after hours check-in at 1908hrs. However, the mileage used was ten (10) miles fewer than estimated when the reservation commenced. Still, there was no price adjustment resulting in a reduction for the fewer miles used. In closing, not a single aspect of the experience went correctly, and it was an experience that created a great deal of inconvenience and angst. Sincerely, John R. Lavell (901)283-1991JOHN L.

I was charged extra for Miles and gas. I had it filled above one third like I was told. They charged me for gas that was over 4 fucking dollars a gallon too. In macon, gas is under 3 dollars. What kind of greedy shit is that? Probably never using u haul again. Honestly I'm pissed money was taken from me without even asking. Y'all don't know situation.Lance B.

The lady that helped us was kind of rude. On top of that, after I paid cash, she then tells me,,,oh by the way, when you bring it back, there maybe a problem getting your cash back,because most U-haul places don't carry cash,,,BUT your company take cash on a daily basis. ( no, I didn't have a problem getting the deposit, but just by her information, we COULD have had a problem, due to the place may not have had cash ). The cash back part should have been told to me,before I paid cash, then I would have paid with card. Pass that, I asked her could I down size the U-haul, she got an attitude for me asking.....JAZZI'MAINE K.

when people make reservations the soul purpose of it is to have what was put on reservation when coming to get it. this is the 2nd time, and same location, that did not have what I reserved 2 weeks in advance. spent 1 hour trying to come up with a solution, because the equipment I paid and reserved was not there..VICTOR V.
The van needed an oil change. The tires were not inflated properly. The glass on the passenger side was damaged and not noted on the contract. Then to too it all off i was charged a cleaning fee when the van was broom clean! Not this location anymore!NORBERT W.

Mobile sign in was an issue. I finally went inside for check in. That was a blessing though, the agent was very pleasant and dealt with the problem straight away. I used the location before and everyone is very pleasant.JUDY C.
I really hate to say anything negative because young lady who handled my rental gave me excellent customer service,very helpful and courteous but equipment (the ramp at rear where you load from) was faulty because could not get ramp to go back in once finished loafing, but roadside was called and assisted.BRENDA W.
This is the second time in a month I used Uhaul and both times the equipment I scheduled for pick up was not available at the chosen location. I had to add an hour to my already packed schedule and burn a quarter tank of gas just to pick up a tow dolly. Uhaul needs to coordinate and get equipment together for a singular pickup at the desired location.ZACHARY J.

The main customer service department has moved to the building next door. It is very confusing as to where to go when arriving. There is no way to drive from the old building to the new building without turning left onto a busy four lane roadway. Connecting the parking lots and better signage would help. The staff was friendly and helpful.RICKY W.

For one the trailer was broke the jack to take off the truck was broke so we had to lift it with a floor jack to get it off the truck and the tires was bad had three blow outs over the weekend and had to come out our pocket to have them replaced cause road side assistance never cameCassie P.

The is one one of the best UHaul places ever. Excellent GM. Good service, well maintained, very clean equipment, great hours, convenient location. Gray HWY is a busy road, but the nearby traffic lights make it easy to pull out, even while driving an unfamiliar vehicle. The online option made checking in and out a breeze.PAMELA T.
Staff here in Macon was great. My rental was a new 2021 10 foot truck. After a few hours of renting the truck I noticed it was making a loud noise whenever I hit the brakes but I know it wasn't the brakes. It was something more technical. I called to report the sound but I could never get through. Thank God I made it to Tampa without any breakdowns.JOHNATHAN S.
Not climate controlled as every time we went in it was very hot and humid, we did see cockroaches upon three occasions. I could see the sidewalk outside from inside our storage unit. Two of three doors to storage unit building were inoperable, we needed to go to the office building to ask for the automatic doors to be opened more than once. I made my reservations and it stated that I didn’t have to pay for the storage. When I get there to put my things in storage, I was told that I needed $74 more money. I had to find somewhere to put my furniture. Then I had to borrow the money to get the storage. I have been charged for the gas to put back in the truck. It was a big mess going back and forth.
