I have already contacted Customer Service regarding my issues with this truck. I had 2 people end our Chat without anything getting resolved. I now see that I was charged for fuel I didn't use and additional fees I know nothing about. I reserved a Pick up truck do to my car being down in case my mother had to be taken to the ER as she has congestive heart failure and is not doing well. This box truck was driven less than 15 miles and sat in my driveway because it wasn't safe enough to drive anywhere else and there was NO WAY we could have gotten my 83 yr old mother in the truck had there been an emergency. I want to know how you came up with these charges. The fuel had less than 3/4ths of a tank and when it was dropped off it had almost the same amount.MELANIE R.

Representative was more interested in talking to another random person about a truck than helping me. Waited over 30 minutes with representative who seemed generally incompetent. Box of truck was dirty. Check engine light was on. Truck smelled strange and looked dirty in general. Dolly that I didn't rent was in the box, which was useful for me, but showed a lack of attention to detail. Location was surrounded by people high/drunk/posessed by demons. Would never store anything at this location, and will never go to it ever again due a perceived lack of safety.FRANK M.

I like the guys behind the counter but unfortunately no one had a name tags on so i cant acknowledge any one particular person. I will say that i was really upset about being overcharged. They had a miscommunication about who received my truck key and then turned around and waited a day to ask me about it then turned around and charged me for an extra day. Im very disappointed in that maneuver. I feel it was very underhanded. Otherwise the guys there were buce abd helpful.BONNIE H.

Returned trailer on the 1st... same day we rented it. The location was supposedly still open but no one was around to help us. Left contract in the box indicated "return rental contracts" . Final receipt emailed to me states the unit was not returned until 5pm on the 3rd and there in an additionak unexplained charge of $30 to my card.HERBERT R.

I was lied to and not told everything about the service I was given and that the uhual didn't have a dolley. I didn't receive the email about me confirming my mileage etc. Good thing I take a picture before and after. The uhual was so dirty, used q tips, nails and paper in it. I took a pic of that too. I reserved the Uhaul for 4 hours (4:30-8:30) but was told if I did not have it back by 7 I would be charged extra because 7 was close of business day. If that is the case why have the option for after hour drop off or give me the option to reserve for 4 hours? Had to rush to get everything done. The employee that checked me in threaten me and was very rude and disrespectful upon my return. I have never had an experience like this since I have been dealing with Uhaul. When someone tell you that they are charging your bank account/ card whatever they want to that is theft. Even, after Mejae George verify that the said employee Michael Walker was wrong about the issue at hand and the way he handled the situation. Due to the fact that she was the one that rented the equipment out to me and knew that there was dirt on the floor from the truck not being sweep out from its last user. If this is the type of person that Uhaul employs I will take my business else where. And yes, my profession is an internet blogger so, the world will know about this horrible experience and you all employee Michael Walker. Thank you to the store manager, Ms. Mejae George for being honest. And also, appreciation to Mr. LeAndrez Holmes for doing what is right.DOROTHY J.

Dropped trailer off two days early, and was told everything was taken care of by the lady behind the counter. A week goes by and I've got over $60 in late charges. Called the location, was told a full refund and $25 convenience was to be paid back to my account, and this never happened. Had to call corporate, and am still waiting on the erroneous refund. Poor service, was lied to by the manager, was charged for something I didn't do, and instructions were unclear. Would not recommend anyone use this location, and am still waiting on the refund for the late charges I shouldn't have received in the first place.Sidney B.

You dishonest employee (it was a female) lied about what I was filing paper work out for. I just wanted a truck was I charged for a unit that I never asked for? Did she steal my money? Very poor customer service from office staff. No one was available at the site, had to drive to another site to confirm my reservation. Staff member didn't want to honor my previously signed contract regarding my free month of storage. He then lied to me telling me Uhaul changed the offer, not knowing that I had already had a contract number. Once I showed him my email from Uhaul, he said he would give me the free month, but acted as if he had a problem with it. The unit I reserved was for a 10x20, upon entering the storage site, the unit he gave me definitely did not look like a 10x20. I was told storage access was until 7pm, so I left to pack my belongings onto my Uhaul truck that I rented from another location. When I returned at the storage site at 4:30pm, the doors were locked and there were 5 other Uhaul customers waiting and looking for site manager. I patiently waited but when the site manager arrived on the site at 4:50pm, he said the site closed at 5pm because it was Thursday. No one told me this beforehand. He said he was only going to open the door for a customer who had about 3 items to put in her unit. He was rude so I just took my lock off my unit and rented storage from another company. I have always been a Uhaul customer and I plan to continue renting trucks, but I will NEVER rent from the Gordon Hwy location again.EDGIE M. | First Impressions
