The van barely has enough gas in it to make it to a gas station. I had to fill it. I returned it with more gas than it had in it at pick up. When I said something to the lady at the counter, she said I had to bring it up with the manger but he â€œwouldn't do anything about itâ€. It was way overpricedDennis C.

this was great! Made it super easy to remove a sofa bed. My only drawback (and the lady behind the counter agreed with me!) is that when filling out the rental form, the website tried to sign me up for anything and everything, INCLUDING items like moving blankets, plastic furniture wrap, a lock, movers, moving insurance, etc. I had to scan the website with a fine toothed comb to find the â€œno I don't need any moving helpâ€ or to find the â€œremove items from cartâ€ buttons.Robert G.

The truck need an wheel alignment really bad. I had to drive at the 10 o'clock position to drive straight. Also the radio volume dial did not work. Luckily it was for a local short move and not a long one. People were greatâ€¦truck just needed to be serviced and inspected.Jason S.

Everything went great. Clean cab area, good heater, clean & empty truck area. Wish our 4 hr use of a $19.95/ day truck didn't cost us $150.00! You can't help the gas prices, but mileage was costly. (Drove from Ft Wayne to Angola & back to Ft Wayne). But overall it was what we needed, & it did the job, & that's what matters. It would help the next customer to reevaluate your charges, & make some reductions.Rex B.

Completely understaffed. Trailer had a pile of sawdust in it when I got to my house to move the furniture. Employee damaged the rear of my vehicle because they park their trailers on a downward incline and the employee lost control of the trailer when he took it off my car. The trailer tongue filled into the rear door of my Jeep Compass. The employee took responsibility but the fault is on the person who decided to park trailers on a slope. Bad management. I file a claim but haven't heard anything from U-Haul or the location manager.Donald W.

Nothing I can think of. In 6 months I made two moves and the prices and customer service are the best. Moving is stressful and the team at Uhaul on coldwater road care. I had a Penske truck quoted and canceled it because no easy way to speak to someone and price was very high. Please continue to take care of your employees and treat them really good because that gets passed down to us the customer. GraciasRhonda B.
I will never recommend U-Haul to anyone. Everything about this experience from start to finish was a complete disaster. The website timed out repeatedly and the picture and scanning functions do not work properly on the â€œ24/7 pickup and drop-offâ€ portion. I had to verify my identity nearly 5 separate times. This online process took nearly an hour to complete. The only reason I wouldn't recommend this specific location to a friend is because the employee there verbally insulted another client right in front of me. Yikes!William P.

Had reservation at Penske. Walked in to pickup truck, was told "system was down" and they couldn't give me the truck, "nothing they could do." No attempt to help. Called Uhaul and within 9 minutes had a truck located, 6 miles away, ready to go, on a Sunday. It was $10 less and less per mile also, with a pro team and checkout in 6 minutes. Will never rent anywhere else again.Brian A.

The particular 5x9 trailer I rented was dirty obviously auto engine scrap parts and rust all over the floor. It should have been swept out by the last customer that used it. But as always the service and employees were exemplary. It's always a positive visit at this location.Lynn B.

Jennifer and Lucas were absolutely amazing!!! They were very personable and even though I was very complicated and it seemed like nothing was going right as far as my U-Haul rental and storage rental they were very patient and helped me out tremendously. They both went above and beyond in order to help me and definitely deserve recognition and a raise :) Will definitely be Referring everyone to them over at the U-Haul Glenbrook store!!! Mostly I had a rough time because the mobile pickup and return process via the U-Haul site is spotty and randomly boots me out, terminating the application process and forcing me to go inside for help or struggle to get it to work by sheer chance. Wi-Fi access at location or at least a stable app would be appreciated in making sure nothing gets missed during the whole renting process.Madison S.
This time we had a unique experience, I hope. We had scheduled to pick up a trailer at 7:30am as we had a 9 hr drive after loading the trailer. Whoever was scheduled to work didn't show up and we had to wait until approximately 8:45am (I think) for someone to show up. Having said all that, the guy that did show up took care of us in a most excellent way.KEVIN A.

Well I am very upset about my rental I done a reservation online and it said to pay $67.00 to pick up my moving van and when I got there they said it was 90 something dollars so I didn't have enough money on my card to rent the one I needed then they wouldn't take cash so I had to change which truck I wanted to one I didn't want and had to pay more for mileage then I wanted too. Then I filled it up on gas and returned it to the same location after I was done and got charged for 2 gallons of gas as well the woman was very rude with me as well when I asked her why I got charged for gas when I just filled it back up before I got there all I drove was 3 1/2 miles to U-Haul after filling up . Just very disrespectful service at this locationMichael C.

Please let it be known that my one star rating is not for the Coldwater Road location but for your East Washington location who's monumental screwup lead me to the Coldwater store to begin with. I was running a little bit late, as can happen when you move with small children and animals. I arrived at the store before the hour window of losing my reservation, however the service was so poor at the store I stood in line and waited long enough that it crossed over my hour and they ditched my reservation all because your store employees weren't copping enough to handle one other person in front of me in a timely manner to get me checked in to make my deadline. As a result of this I got screwed out of the size of the truck that I wanted had to go to a different store even though they had my truck sitting right there and refused to give it to me. I understand that I was running a little bit late but I was there in plenty enough time had you had employees that could do their job correctly. As a result of this my entire day was completely screwed up, I had to make three trips instead of one because of getting screwed out on my truck size and I blame you. I will NEVER do business with you again and I will NEVER recommend anyone to do business with you. It's painfully obvious that you don't give a shit about your customers and at best you half ass clearing up your mistakes at the expense of the customer. The Coldwater Road store was incredibly efficient I was in an out with a truck from that store in HALF the time it took for someone to even greet me at the Washington location.Matthew R.

We are ere ask to online register dyer for CoVID protection. We did & still had to wait over 1 hour time pick up keys in a place where nobody wearing masks! I'm a cancer patient so this was not a healthy environment!Michael K.
