Denise was extremely helpful, very professional, and at the same time very friendly and nice to talk to. This is a very busy location, and they appear to be short handed, however Denise handled the stressful situation calmly and professionally.

Yhis facility was nice, clean, and organized. There computers worked and they got use through with no problems. When we were leaving I saw a girl cleaning the uhale. I wish I could have gotten a uhale from this place because I could tell they take care of the uhales and are organized.

A couple of the people there seemed stressed out. Seems that they need more employees to help with their workload on a saturday. I believe there were 2 employees and 1 manager working. That is not enough. I feel if you paid the employees more, then you could maintain an adequate work force. They are over worked and under paid. All of them were visibly tired and sweaty. Amy was super nice! She always is sweet when I go in there. She is super helpful and deserves better than you. Amy is the best employee you have! Give her a raise! And a bonus! Amy was not one of the stressed out people. She was and is the reason i go to uhaul. Thank you Amy!

The trailer had not been swept out. The worker pointed to the trailer but he did not hook it up for me or put the two wheel cart in it for me that I rented. He also said “make sure you put it back where up got it when you bring it back...”. He took a very lazy approach to the rental and gave no physical assistance.

Make sure Jennifer Stevens does NOT have contact with the customers! She was apparently overwhelmed and freaked out! We had a little dispute over the price per mile, I was told $.89/mile when I made the reservation, she was saying $.99/ mile. Before I could go to my phone and verify my reservation, she got bitchy and told me I was lucky to even get a truck. I reminded her that they were lucky to have my business. She then yelled your truck is canceled and stormed off slamming the door. The other two women then took care of getting me a truck.

the tow dolly we reserved was given to another party. We were delayed by one day while owner searched for another one. Owner said he would not charge us for dolly, denied he said that and gave us only $50 off. We made two 40 mile trips to pick up dolly. Your equipment was great though. Should not have had to pay for dolly.

They gave us the truck with less than 1/8 gas and “made up” for it by giving a fuel credit however the amount of the credit was less than the gas they expected to be back in the truck. My options? Drive 2 miles up the road and add more gas to the truck or they would charge me an additional $50. I ended up having to pay an additional $35 for gas (at the gas station) plus an additional $25 was charged to my card for fuel on top of their “fuel credit”... Then to top it off my rental was supposed to come with a free month of storage being it was a 1 way rental to another state. When we get there they advise they have no storage units available but advertised it as if they had plenty. Uhaul is a joke.

The drop off location was on the other side of town from where I live. Reps by checking the address of the renter and place it there. Also my contract did not list a drop off address. I had to call in to find it.

I was told the enclosed trailer would be fine for 1 room with a full size mattress. Once we forcibly bent the mattress to get it into the small door opening, we then had to forcibly smash the box spring into the trailer breaking the corner on it. Horrible and very frustrating. Trailer was too small because of the small door opening.

The signs at the Collins rd entrance is hard to see pulling out in traffic because your signs are to close to the road. I’ve seen multiple accidents there and almost was hit myself. Please pull them back from the road before someone gets hurt. Everything else was perfect.

The wait inside was extremely long. We realized there was an option to rent online. That went smoothly except we were given the wrong key. We were at the pick up location for 2 hours. I try to have patience but this did not feel professional. We were very disappointed in this process and will only use uhaul again if the check out process improves.

The self checkout was a disaster (website issue, not the pickup location). I uploaded a bunch of pics of damage and then they all got discarded before I could finish...wasted about a half hour!!! The attendant got me on the road fairly quickly afterwards.

I rented a 17 ft truck, got it completely loaded and it would not start. We were under a deadline. I called roadside assistance and they said they would try to be there within an hour. We were able to jump it after about half an hour. After unloading I took it back and they exchanged trucks.I asked for compensation for the mileage and inconvenience to exchange and they would not do anything.. .

When I went to drop off hitch at 6:30pm, I went in to tell them about the poor quality of trailer, and when I arrived, they said that although they are open until 7pm, they stop assisting drop offs at 6:30pm. None of this was mentioned to me when picking up rental.

It took a very long time to return the trailer. There was a problem with an outgoing truck/trailer combination. The lady working to correct the problem was working alone and did her best. She did apologize when she was able to help me and was very courteous. She needs more help.

There was only one woman running the entire store when I was there. People would be waiting to be helped for 30 or more minutes. This was not the woman’s fault as the store is obviously understaffed. She, however, is the reason this location did not get a poor rating. She was extremely helpful and patient with customers. Hopefully, she is getting paid double wages for doing the work of two people.

Call the customer before you charge more money, let them know why there was so much more money taken out of their account. I would have rather known why then to just see it. Call and explain before you do it. I said I understood there may be more charges, but I want to hear why from the team. It is better to talk about it than to have to figure out why yourself.

The person who took my reservation over the phone put in Madison, Indiana for return instead of Madison, Wi. I caught it while I was still on the phone and told her to fix it and it was never fixed so I had to call return places myself since they weren’t able to fix it during pickup. Please review those recorded phone calls and speak to that phone rep. Also records indicated it was inspected in March but we don’t believe the brakes were working properly.

It would be great if there were enough staff to answer the phone. When I called my call was rerouted to another facility who couldn't answer my questions and couldn't set up an appointment for me. If there were enough staff at the facility I could have set an appointment. That being said when I walked in they were able to help me right away. However I found out that my hitch did not have all the bolts put in. I might not have had to come at all if it had been installed properly. Definitely a mixed experience.

Person hooking up the tow dolly was nice. Front desk person was really nice. Tow dolly had two issues 1. The ball locking mechanism was defective. The person hooking up the tow dolly to the truck should have caught this problem. I taped the problem so the ball locking mechanism would not loosen. I checked every time I stopped. The strap on the left side would not release easily.

I would like to complain about the reservation experience. We called a different location & it must have forwarded us to another location. We made the reservation & went to the original location we called. The other was now across town. That group was slammed and didn't have our reservation. The system hadn't "caught up" it seems. They searched reservation #/email/name. (HOWEVER, the name was incorrect = Alderman and not overland). They did the best they could but our wait time was significant. Not to mention the original location we thought we were going to on Washington had one person working, 3 people in line and was dealing with a very long situation with the person at the counter. Made the rest of us wait while they were on hold with the 800 number. So what should have been a quick pick up of a tow dolly, it took almost 2 hours of just wait time. I do not want this to reflect on the Coldwater group. They were very accommodating but it is more than apparent that your phone and online systems are slow and dont seem to communicate to the stores very timely or efficiently. Very very disappointed with your main phone/online system

Trailer had a flat right rear tire that was not noticed by the people who hooked it up for me. I got not further than a couple hundred yards from u haul and couldn’t figure out what people where honking and pointing at. Luckily I only had to go about 3 miles down the street to pick up my truck. When I got to my location the shop noticed the flat tire and fixed it for me so I could continue on. This tire was obviously flat before I ever left the parking lot of uhaul. When I returned the trailer and told the gentleman, all he could say was it was being take. Out of service to replace the tire.

I first went to your main downtown location because online it showed you had the trailer I needed. I got there at 645AM because I had a deadline. The woman working there seemed disgruntled and annoyed at me being there before I even got out of my truck. She told me she didn't have one and Glendbrook did and to go there. I got there and the .gr confirmed that they did have one at the uhaul center location downtown where I just came from. I confirmed the location with him several times. She just didn't want to work I guess but showing up as early as possible, getting up at 5am to move all day. I did not appreciate her bs. Glenbrook local and dealers I have used have always been courtiuos and professional. If she answers the phones there I won't bother going there.

In calling to extend the time that the truck was rented due to moving complications, I was quoted a $20/day fee, the decisions I made based upon this false information (namely deciding to extend the rental) have left me in a horrible financial state. This company has forced me into a position where I am donating plasma to pay basic bills, and am going 3 days at a time without eating. When the owner of this location learned that the prices quoted to me were $20/day instead of the accurate value of $40/day, he responded with "it's $40 per day" Uhaul has lost a customer, and I will be advising others to use competitor services.

Customer service rep was very rude. I then had the owner and explained the way she talked to me in a rude manner telling me it wasn't her problem that the 24/7 pick up on the internet wasnt working. When returning the owner gave me a discount because that really put a bind on my schedule.

I was very pleased with the customer service I received at the Glenbrook location. The representative that worked with me treated me very professionally. The truck was clean and met my expectations. I wish the price was a little more lower, especially the additional mileage charge in addition to the truck rental, but I was very pleased with my experience.

I have received more emails on this rental then ever before. I renewed a truck and had it for around five hours. During the course of picking up and returning and still hours and hours after I still receiving emails. Currently I am at 11 emails for this rental transaction. That is way to many and annoying

My experience here was exceptional! I don't think anything could have been done by the personnel at this location to improve my experience. My issue was with the call center gentleman I spoke with. First, he ordered the wrong hitch and then, instead of shipping it expedited, which I paid for, it was shipped ground. The personnel at this location went above and beyond to correct the situation and get me on my way, although it did take an extra day, which, unfortunately, cost me an extra day at my hotel.

The store manager "Joshua " and his team are amazing. I rented a climate controlled unit for approximately 18 months and would highly recommend for anyone looking for safe , clean and secure storage.

Service was friendly. Storage unit was small and door was small and hard to navigate. Alarm system was malfunctioning, causing it to go off randomly for extended periods of time while we unloaded.
