Have a clerk available in office all the time. I wasn't provided with furniture dolly, I assumed would be in vehicle. I went back in waiting 15 minutes. No one was behind desk. I had to walk around lot to find someone.RENE M.
This my review for one of your moving companies (Arizona Monster Movers) who advertised on your Uhaul website and I will be documenting this on the website. Please, if you want to continue having a pleasant/decent/average day, do not choose Arizona Monster Movers! I mean DO NOT! Use this moving service. They are not reputable, they do not have any leverage or claims process if they damage your valuables. I ended up with two holes in my wall of my new home and damage to my brand new appliance. It not about the money, it about principle. I called to file complaint with the owner/manager and he basically believed his movers over me after I sent him pictures as proof. He argued with me over the phone. He spoke to me in the most disrespectful and rude manner that I have ever experienced from a so called business/merchant. He was rude as hell. He spoke like he was 12 years old. I couldn't get him to understand that this is not how you do business with people, and he just didn't get it. He sent me a long nasty text message (again, this is an adult I am supposed to be communicating with. He refused to send me the name of his lawyer and refused to allow me to at least file a claim. Whenever I spoke, he spoke over me and would not allow me to finish my sentences. If he would have showed some compassion and put and â€œ im sorryâ€ in there, then maybeâ€¦, but he did not apologize, his mover did not apologize. Towards the end of the move the one of the movers didn't want to finish moving the rest of the items off the truck, he wanted to leave. My husband told him that he is being paid to do a job and he needs to finish it. We paid then 700 for seven hours of moving. On top of that my husband gave them both 50 bucks each for a tip. Like I said it not about the money, it the how we were treated as paying customers. Holes in a wall, damage to appliance done by the movers and not one single â€œI'm sorryâ€ nor â€œI apologizeâ€. People like this do not belong in business and have no business charging what they charge for absolute terrible services. There are other terrible things that happened during the move that I haven't even mentioned here. I think mentioning this is enough. He made me feel like he did me a favor by putting two holes in my wall and damaging and expensive appliance. At the time I was extremely upset and hurt by this experience, but later in the day I realized if they continue to do horrible business this way, it will all work itself out the way it is supposed to. I hope that Uhaul knows who advertising business on their website. Choosing this mover is very risky. I probably should have did more research when choosing movers, but I was naÃ¯ve being that this was my first experience with movers. The company name is well fitting.Tinika A.

We were rented a 15' trailer there was a hold on it. Jennifer the manager made a call to check on why a hold was out on it. She determined that it was a mistake and went ahead and rented the truck to us. In fact it had a missing right brake light and turn signal. When we noticed we called Jennifer and sat on hold for two hours and still did not get connected. We had scheduled movers and had to load the truck. Would not recommend this location.ROBERT R.

There are signs and ads everywhere saying 24 hour access and online promotes 24 hour access but it appears to only be true for equipment rental namely returns. The late hours did help but in Arizona, the sunless hours are the best to take advantage of and I was grateful for the 5am access to make up the time. Reserved a small utility trailer and when we got there, they couldn't find it. They think someone stole it they said. Said we have a guarantee available or 50 dollars. They said we have a larger trailer you can take and we will put your 50 towards the larger one?? Really, that's not customer service. Should have given the trailer for the price of the one we reserved and paid for and gave us the guarantee money. Very, very poor customer service. Ordered a U Box in June to move items from storage unit into. I arrived ,after calling for 2 hours and no answers, to find out that my UBox was there with no cover. I was told that I couldn't get it and had to go to a different Uhaul. They could have CALLED me and told me that BEFORE I arrived. Then, after I can back with ubox and emptied the storage unit, I told them to close the unit account. They had the nerve to ask me if I emptied it, that people say that they moved out but didn't. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS PLACE!!!! They also keep losing my information and I had to give it to them over and over again.kelly l. | Overall Experience

The location I actually rented from was excellent. The first place I rented from was awful and the second place had faulty equipment that wasn't legal to drive or tow nor did the have the necessary tools to change a brake light. I was very disappointed, that my corporate reservation, and my other reservation with a reservation number was not recognized at this location. I have had only problem renting from this location but it is the closest to my home and is important that I utilize it. Staff couldn't find my reservation even though I got them the number 3 times. After they found it I had to give them my information including card numbers again after doing it when I made the reservations. When I made the reservations (in the storage facility) I was told access hours were 5:30 am until 10:00 pm. Then, on the move in day I was told "office hours only 7am until 7pm." What is the correct hours? I was also told that there were 2 alarms for the unit, one at the door of the building and one on the unit it's self. I used my PERSONAL CAR to drive behind the uhaul i rented and theres NO WAY I drove 63 miles I even called my friends and family that were with me about this and they said THAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE they do some kind of fraud at this location and dont give you the correct milage on any cars. My car reached 35miles and i always drove behind the uhaul this is so stupid and upsetting but then again its my fault for trusting your stupid company and not double checking your lazy employees work. The entire team was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. They acknowledged every customer with hospitality and patience. I was being helped by a young lady upon returning my equipment when I noticed an elderly customer who seemed to be visually impaired unable to find the entrance. The employee went to this customer and guided her into the store politely. I wish I got her name to give the recognition she deserves. Genuine empathy and connection with customers like this is astonishing in this day and age. I hope this young lady's behaviour is recognized and paves way for a future in leadership for her because this is a shining example of customer service that should be implemented in all employee training. I used the app to do the pick up and return. The app kept crashing when I was trying to check in. When I returned the truck I used the app and it did not return the truck. Representative told us the unit was to the right out of the office, our unit was not in there. I went back into the office for help as we had not seen another busilding when we drove in. despite everything with the facility itself being just fine, i was very disappointed with the overall booking process. I initially "reserved" it when I reserved the truck, only to get a call the next day i confirmed my reservation and provided a credit card for payment, and received a confirmation email. i then recoeved multiple follow up calls to cinfirm my move in date over the next few days, so mich that i emailed back my email confirmation reaffirm i still had my reservation, which i got another response confirming, and after all that, still did not have any reservation booked on my arrival. the whole experience prior to the actual move in was quite frustrating.LUIS C. | First Impressions

The facility itself was fine. Fairly clean, just a lot of dead bugs on the ground. The staff seems to be a bunch of younger less customer service oriented people. Too many times when I had questions, I had to deal with shrugs, cell phone usage and a general "you're bothering me" attitude. I would not recommend this facility for that reason only. The doors getting into my storage unit.... alaways disabked. Never opened fully last 4 months I paid to keep my stuff there? Dehabilitating? No... unless I needed a lot of stuff that day. Staff...? I rented a truck to get in there. And one to get out. Absolutely atrocious. No smiles. No "welcome in!" Nothing. They all walk (miserably slow) and can easily tell they hate their jobs. I'd recommend this place because it is clean, close to my home, and easily accessible (kind of). I wouldn't recommend even attempting to talk to staff, carrying large things through doors that don't work, or paying for a full month when you plan to leave earlier.Brandon M. | Overall Experience

There are some homeless people living in there because they have a unit, they showed me their card. The guy and gal were in the bathroom for long periods of time. I observed this twice and when I asked them from outside the bathroom to please come out, that I needed to use the facilities, they stayed in for another half hour. I had to put all items that I was rearranging in the storage back in and lock it, then go to the front office to use theirs. Anyone can enter thru the doors and I also saw a man, twice come to check what there was in the area where you can pick up items that people don't want. I don't think he had a unit. You should really review your policy for entrance into the storage buildings. It is a security problem and it worried me that my storage would be broken into. I did get into a verbal confrontation with the male homeless guy. I brought up this problem with the front office and they said that they were going to monitor it and take care of the problem. I would definitely rent vehicles from them again as I really liked the people working there. Especially Jack, who came to my rescue when I confronted the homeless man.Tina C. | Overall Experience

Upon our arrival we informed the manager, Misty Ward that we would have a POD being delivered which we would unload but it wouldn't be able to be picked up until the next day. She said, "No problem, we do that all the time." By the time the POD arrived, Misty had gone home and another employee informed us that the POD had to be picked up that day. That employee then called Misty at home and was told that Misty never told us it would be ok to be picked up the next morning which was a bold faced lie. We had to cancel send the POD back and pay for another month of POD storage which is more than the unit at your facility would have cost us. It was the last day that I was available as I was going out of town for 6 weeks. We canceled the storage unit and are in the process of finding another storage facility. I would have preferred your location since it's close but I don't want to do business with people that lie to me. If I can get a free month on the unit I will consider renting a unit from your location. If not I will go elsewhere and since your facility is where I get my propane for my grill I will also take that business elsewhere.Gary P. | Overall Experience
