Truck had a hole in the gas tank. I didn't know until after I put gas in the tank. Gas installed was lost. We took it back and the replacement had holes in the tank also. No other 20ft could be found and we had to get a different size truck. I had to wait over two hours to get this resolved. BTW another truck there didn't have a drive shaft. It wasn't the fault of the people there but they should have checked the vehicles for safety. Gas tank needed to be replaced or repaired and I was the one that suffered and should get some of my money refunded for the inconveniences I went through.Jack G.

When I made my reservation; the young lady didn't have much information/on truck reservations. She told me they opened at @8am; whereas my reservation said 7 am; therefore we drove from La.; later than we anticipated. When we arrived; we were told we needed to pick up the truck; from another location.; by that time there were a lot of angry people. Check the equipment! Both back tires on the trailer were flat but we didn't notice that until we loaded the trailer. We had to go and get roadside assistance information just to get on our way. Thankfully, the location on Milam St in Beaumont came to our rescue.JERRY N.

My truck had the WRONG gas level and mileage, this the second time at the particular place, the young ladies wouldn't pull the truck around, I am 61 years old and had to walk a long ways to the truck, then I had to back back to dispute the mileage and gas level, they still didn't get up. I'm not too computer literate, so I just drove off either truck. The truck was OLD, I had to get a boost to start the truck to bring it back. With the gas level being wrong and mileage being wrong, I had to pay for 15 extra miles and the gas said half of tank and only had a fourth!!! I deal with uhaul a LOT and only have this problem at that particular location. Very upsetting!!!JEANETTE L.

Horrible reservation system. Not to be trusted. Reserved van over a week early. On Sunday morning received text that the nearest van was over on hour away. Had manpower schedules to load and unload so couldn't cancel. Only options was minivans which advertise holding one bedroom apartment but too small to fit queen size mattresses. Had to rent two so it doubled mileage and gas cost.DAN R.

I am sooooo upset with UHaul! I paid over $100.00 a month, only for all of my wife brand new items and bedroom suit to mildew and mold! Basically the whole storage unit had molded and mildewed. Although I bought all kinds of DampRid moisture observer that was recommended buy A AHaul manager who assist assisted me. I tool out an insurance policy that also was also recommended by the same UHual manager! Bad part about it! USUALLY said they are not responsible for the damages on all the items in the storage! Wtf! When I arrived to the location I was told when that the tow dolly I reserved was designated for repairs, and she would have to try to find one close by for me to drive to to pick up a different tow dolly. I wasn't told any of this until I arrived. The associate looked up another trailer for me. Thankfully she found one at her location that she didn't know she had. I do wish she knew her inventory because she had to make a brand new reservation to search to find one for me to use. An improvement I would suggest is, if a rentable truck/trailer is going in for repairs it should be noted in the system for reservations made on it so they can be switched for the person reserving it.JARED R.

I originally made reservations on Mitchell Road in Lumberton. I received a text FIFTEEN minutes before my scheduled arrival to tell me the unit was not available. That's unacceptable. I was able to do what I needed to do, but fifteen minutes is an unacceptable notice.CHARLES S.

While this location did great, making the reservation early became a joke. I ended up paying a lot of extra money having to go to a distant location where I had to return the vehicle 50 miles away. I will likely never use your services again because of that. I drove by the original location and saw 3 vehicles there, 1 that was what I tried to reserve and 2 larger ones that could have been an upgrade and ultimately as cheaper option in the long run. Therefore, the $1.09 I paid for mileage that ended up costing an additional $109 was a rip off because my reservation was ignored.JANICE M.

Eastex freeway location sucks I was charged extra money because I was sent to a remote location and had no internet access no people on the site ,so had to go to new site I get charged for worker you had no knowledge of drop off instructions for remote drop off . When you make a reservation weeks ahead of time, make sure the trailer is there. Don't give the customer the run around on it. The trailer wasn't there then they sent us to another location which was closed. They didn't call ahead to confirm it. We came back and waited. Finally 2 hours after our reservation, the trailer returned. We believe they rented it out for the day even knowing we were coming later to pick it up.DAVID M.

the uhal at 8161 eastern freeway did an outstanding job. Your reservation system is far below good. I made a reservation at your Milam and eastern location 2 weeks before move and went to confirm, they had no units available in the 10x25. Did another reservation through corporate offices, went there this past Saturday and no reservation for me, even though both reservations were confirmed with a reservation number. Last minute I had to rent 2 units at the eastex location. The experienced was horrible. The Milam st location needs some serious help both in staff, attitude and organization.
