The price that you advertise in spite of a pandemic as well as the overall charges does not reflect the other charges that will be applied to the renter when a vehicle is rented you charge for renters insurance but if the vehicle is brought back with no damages you will not be the company that will give the $14 insurance back and you charge for the fuel no problem what's the environmental fee. These extra charges are the main reason I will not use this company again I will just have a friend use their car the next time.

We were not given the key to open the padlock on the rear door. This caused us a return to the dealer and 1 hour of time while our moving crew stood by and the meter was ticking, so to speak. The dealer made a significant adjustment in our bill accordingly but the inconvenience and possible ill will that this could cause surely needs to be considered in taking extra care at the time of renting a Uhaul truck. Making good on the rental agreement cost was a big help but we would have been a lot happier to simply have been given the padlock key in advance and to pay in full. At least Uhaul tried to make it right. Normally, you guys are the best.

Uhaul wouldn't start while moving from one location to the next after taking it from uhaul location. Was told we had to call roadside assistant and that they couldn't do anything for us at the location. Was on hold for over 30 minutes and was told they couldn't send a technician out until the next morning and couldn't give us a new uhaul until the technician arrived. Put us completely out of a uhaul, for we needed the items moved by end of day. Very disappointed. I paid $70 for a uhaul that was unusable. With no refund of any kind.

An employee was at the truck as I returned it. He had our info.& walked around the truck. It was all done in a minute. Checking in to rent the truck was different.

I would have rated 5-stars, but the key for the truck was a problem. It didn't fit the ignition exactly and we spent quite a bit of time the first time we stopped trying to get the key to turn. After that, we left the key in the ignition. When we returned the truck, we mentioned this to one of the representatives. He said that they were aware of the problem, but no one mentioned it to us when we took the truck from the lot.

We have had good service with U-Haul, but this time wasn't so good. The truck we got was somewhat dirty inside, & very dirty and badly scraped up outside. Of course there's always the concern that we could get blamed for that, especially since no one went over the truck with my husband, instead just telling him he was good to go. In their defense, they were very busy, but still.... The other issue was that there was a lock on the back, something we have never run into before. Maybe this is a new policy, but ideally it should be pointed out. We drove back down to discuss the lock and the condition of the truck, and were told they were aware of it. The employees are nice, but, as a customer, I would feel much more comfortable getting all that information upfront.

The trailer I rented and which was guaranteed was not available when I went to pick it up. They were able to give me a different smaller trailer which worked but was not what I originally reserved. Also I reserved 2 furniture dollies and when I arrived, only one was available which required me to have to drive across town to purchase 2 elsewhere, adding to the cost of my experience. 2 gentlemen in front of me had similar issues with their reserved equipment not being available to them. Never had this issue before with this location. Not impressed.

First off I was supposed to have a handcart in the truck, which when I got to my Destiination I discovered was not even in the truck. Secondly I still got charged for it and even after trying to explain five times that there had been no hand cart in the truck, I was still told that they would have to review this information to see if I would still get charged. I was also told when I picked up the truck that as long as I have it back by 1 PM the next day that I would be charged no other charges, and even though I had it back by 8 PM the same night, I was told that there was a overnight fee. How could there be an overnight fee if I dropped off the vehicle six hours later? Oh it's because you didn't check in online. I tried checking in online several times but it would not work and so I've been told that they have to see if they're going to charge me the extra $20 or not. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a Uhaul company. I was told my bill would be approximately $68 and it ballooned to $92 for completely unjustified reasons. I am completely disgusted and I will never use U-Haul again.

The truck was dirty and the window was dirty. The bill was not clear and when you take back the truck they never tell you if there is more charges or if they are giving you any money back.

I rented plastic storage boxes for a 2 week period. I began returning them, 6 at a time, before the 2 weeks was up. I expected to not be charged the full price for the two weeks for each box, but I was.

This was not the location I chose and I was not informed that the equipment I intended to rent was not available at the location desired at any time during the online reservation process. Further, I was not informed that I could not return the trailer to any uhaul location in town until I tried to return the trailer, unused due to a medical emergency, to the more convenient location, without being charged a "convenience" fee. I will not be back

The initial contact and quote was solid. Front desk guy was awful/ seemed like I was an imposition/ truck was fine- I got smoked on the rate for not putting gas in vehicle?!! No one mentioned this!! I got emails for feedback b4 I got to destination. Seems like this is a regular experience for people at this location. Asking for feedback b4 experience is complete is odd. Especially when the store smelled like weed. And no one ever mentioned the gas thing. I obviously would have put 15.00 worth of gas in the tank instead of paying the “fine”- it was just too much hassle at the end of a long day. Clown shoe experience. I overpayed and it is awful that feedback was solicited before basic tenets of the agreement were explained. Seems like a regular thing. Sure I'm not the first with this complaint.

Two of your CSR's shouldn't behave as if they are doing the customer a favor. One rep was quite nice though if he had gone above and beyond for his customer I might have been more impressed. For safety, please clean the front windows of the vehicle every now & then, so foggy/dirty, very poor visibility when driving into the sun. Csr's shouldn't assume a driver knows the ins/outs of the vehicle-how about a brief run down, i.e. this is how the seat is pushed forward or back, or would you like a brief run down and etc. Online service and website was excellent.

Communication would be nice. We were not able to access your website to pre check-in. Kept getting Page Not Available response. Would appreciate some discount/partial refund for all our efforts to rent, as it put us a day behind schedule and we had a 150 mile drive to finally rent. Cleaner locations. The fella that tried to help us at 465 S. Rock Blvd, in Reno was very nice and I would have preferred to deal with him, but his 3 car carriers all needed some sort of maintenance, but no one showed up as of Tuesday morning, so he sent us back to the 4th Avenue store.

When I entered store, no one inside and had to wait over 25 minutes. Received a truck that didn't have a full tank of gas. Have a picture and showed it to sales clerk altho I returned it with full a tank. Should have received a difference in charge. When returning the rental, another 30 minute wait cause of only one clerk. They couldn't find my contract on computer as I paid a $100 cash deposit and was questioned if I was sure? Terrible customer servic.

The employee that checked us in, in my opinion was not well trained. He could not find our appointment even after searching my name and number then claimed it was scheduled for next month which was completely incorrect. Then, we asked him a question about over mileage because we knew we would be going over because we are moving far away from a uhaul location, he told us it would $0.20 per mileage but once I checked the contract found out it was $0.40 per mile. And when we dropped off the truck the employee at that location mentioned we could of added extra mileage to the rental instead of paying overage but we were never informed about that at the pick up location which is disappointing. Honestly, it was bad experience overall.

We (family) have had an storage unit at this location going on six (6) years and have always been treated with the greatest respect and professionalism. I was hoping on renting an small or even medium sized storage unit but found that no units were available. Perhaps I will get a small unit later at an other facility. Thank You

VERY POOR "customer service". They NEVER answer the phone, One day I called 13 times always goes to the 800 number. Christian (manage)r puts cell phone number on card, but he NEVER answers his cell phone, I tried 3 times and left a message NO respond! If they tell you anything about your rental GET IT IN WRITING. They go back on their word. They say one thing and do another. They made this move more frustrating for me.

The self service UHaul Share was horrible. The app was glitching. It took 20 minutes just to get approval. It was ridiculous and the helpline was constantly busy we couldn't get any assistance outside the store hours.

The property was not available for us the day we rented it. The code we were given did not work and because it was after hours we needed to go in the following day and get inside. This completely messed up our timeline not being able to access the storage unit the evening we expected to. Overall impression of the employees and manager at this location is that they don’t really care about the customer.

When we picked up the truck the key had ducked tape on it. I didn't think anything of it. The next day when the truck was loaded and we were moving the truck the key broke so we had to use pliers to get it out of the ignition. I called Uhaul and explained the broken key. The representative said that we could not get a new key because it would have to come from the Ford dealer. The only option would be to get another truck. This would not work since we already had the truck packed tightly. I told her we would deal with the key and I would call later. The next day when we were finishing up with the house I received a call from a locksmith who was called by uhaul to remove the key from the ignition. This was never the issue so I'm not sure how this was miscommunicated. Also, when I first spoke with the rep she asked me uploaded a photo of the broken key which I did immediately. I called uhaul again once we arrived in Santa Fe but the rep said to talk to the uhaul rep at the drip off point. Another issue I should mention is that we never received the dolly ordered or the drop cloths. So, when I dropped the truck off the dolly and drop cloths were credited off the invoice. I didn't receive any concern for the inconvenience of dealing with a broked key. The service was the worst I have ever experienced and would never use uhaul again.

The windshield was so dirt you could not see through it once the sun hit the surface. Truck smelled and steering column would lock up when trying to start the truck each time. The associates said yeah, a lot or trucks are like that. but they never warned me when I picked up the running truck. The staff is slow and unhelpful. It seems like they do not enjoy their chosen occupation. Very poor impression of the company over all

This location was supposed to open up at 7 AM. When I went to pick up this equipment the manager Christian, and his employee are still in their cars in the parking lot. The manager himself barely gets the door open at 7 o'clock and then proceeds to ignore customers who are waiting in line because he needed to do things like count cash in the cash register and log into the system. When a business says they open at 7:00 am, I expect that to mean that they're ready to start helping customers at seven sharp. They clearly need to figure out how to show up early enough so that they have the store ready when they're supposed to be ready. The staff is unfriendly and unhelpful. This is not the only location like this. Because so many of the U-Haul locations that I have visited are unhelpful, and unfriendly, and disorganized Because so many of the U-Haul locations that I have visited are unhelpful, unfriendly, and disorganized, I would imagine the corporate culture is to blame. District managers clearly need to be more involved in keeping store managers inline, and you need to hire people who know how to show up on time, smile and use a friendly tone of voice with customers. I get faster and better service at the DMV.

The staff was great. The space was clean. I’m glad I chose to rent from this storage facility. My only issue is that it doesn’t have an elevator for 2nd floor access. Keep that in mind when your thinking about the items your storing. In this businesses defense, that isn’t listed on the website. I should’ve called and asked prior to renting the unit.

The only worker available to help me was on the phone for about five minutes and I was hoping someone else could come up to the register and help but no one did. Once I was helped it was an easy procedure and I was able to get my storage unit quickly.

With the exception of the uhaul on Rt 95 when he rented me a 10 ft truck knowing I had a motorcycle. No ramp. Also the uhaul person on speedway wouldn’t let me throw away a bed it didn’t fit storage.
