The location was WAY understaffed and wait times were incredibly long, despite having a reservation. The online confirmation / process did not function properly, and the customer service staff member was clearly overwhelmed with customers.Anne F.

Very bad experience. The last time I laughed with you, they transited me with the miles. I recommend that new customers should take a picture of miles before and after. I didn't do 20 miles and I got 100 miles. Or there is how to claim because everyone says they feel it but they can do nothing to help. The attention in this office leaves much to be desired from the manager to the employees. I will never use that office again. Bad, bad, bad.Marcelo R.
No blankets in the truck. Barely any staff available to help customers. I had to return to the store to get blankets and had to flag someone down outside as the store was empty. Uhaul should also do better to notify customers of exactly the documents and process involved in the online check-in process. You can only check-in when your phone's GPS shows you are at the store and I only then found out that you need at least two contacts available to receive a phone call at that exact time, or you need to somehow know to carry your passport around with you.Evan D.

Dolly was left in truck by previous user. Additionally, key drop location was in a confusing location (different building than pick up), and the picture showing where it was completely inaccurate. The app is broken. I was unable to upload a picture of the odometer to return the van, and was forced to return it late while I troubleshooted the issue. I ended up logging into the website and returning the vehicle there, which worked fine. The site appeared understaffed. When I came to pick up the van at 3:30-4pm, there were only two employees struggling to keep up with the needs of peak move-in season.Brandon W.
I want to note, the staff that helped me with my on Friday were friendly, helpful and professional. The guy on Saturday was rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful to myself and every other customer. Everything about my experience with this particular U-Haul location was great; the service, the ease of getting the equipment, etc. Though, it was a little bit confusing when figuring out where the drop off location keybox was at since it wasn't near the customer entrance-- though, it didn't take long to figure out!OSCAR P.

I reserved this van MONTHS in advance knowing it would be hell on the big moving weekend, and it was. But the furniture dolly and moving pads I paid for, not with the truck at all, and your mobile check-in/out is a garbage experience. The online check in/return doesn't work. Even with all location sharing on it can't find you when you are in their parking lot. Incredibly under staffed, I give mad props to the owner of this location for being able to keep up with in person customer service. Phones go straight to a call center and no one ever answers to help you reschedule a reservation, so you have to do everything in person (which puts more work on the owner). The vehicles are fine, the in person staff is nice, but U-Haul as a company sucks. I will be thoroughly vetting all other options to avoid having to use U-Haul ever again.REGINA H.

I dropped off after hours, and the signage was not at all useful for directing where to put the trucks, or if someone was there working or not. Then the 'EZ-drop off' internet software did not work at all, very frustrating. Terrible overall experience, but at least the location was convenient.Neil C.

The online reservation was confusing. I requested pickup in Madison WI and this was confirmed by email. I received a confirmation phone call the next day which did not mention the reservation was moved to a different location. Only in a follow up email did I find my pickup site was moved an hour outside of Madison. Fortunately, the guys at the Madison location helped me out with a rental for half a day. The facility was understaffed, I deducted 2 points off not because of the quality of the location, but there was only one person managing a downtown location during college moving week. In my opinion, you should offer more than 14 dollars and hour and benefits if you want people to sign up for a job these days.YUSUFHAN E.

My reservation (which was guaranteed) was not available. I ended up getting a truck 5 foot shorter than what I needed, for a time period 4 hours shorter than I reserved. In the end, I wasn't able to fully complete my move in the time I had planned, making things much more difficult for myself and my family. I'll be looking elsewhere if I need to rent a truck in the future.John K.

Check-in was unnecessarily complicated because pre-checking assumed a text capable phone when our landline phone number was used. A requirement to specify our local end destination by address and photo copy a driver's license was unprecedented from our previous rental experiences with Uhaul.MARTIN S.
I had a horrible Uhaul experience. I had reserved a 20ft truck - this truck was not available despite the reservation until late afternoon - my pick up was scheduled right away in the am, I had loaders scheduled and was moving 2 hours away. I had to borrow a truck and drive back to my original city to pick up my remaining items. This cost additional money and 4 + hours of travel time. Due to YOUR error. I was issued a 15ft truck. The back of the truck had not been cleaned, there were broke down boxes and garbage in the back of the truck. The truck was not gassed up. For these reasons, I have zero confidence the truck was inspected inspected. I had to stop twice on my 2 hour trip due to worry there was something wrong with this truck - as it shook while driving down the highway going UNDER the speed limit. Due to the truck having less than 1/4 tank of gas and having a more than 2 hour drive - I ended up overfilling the tank, wasting upwards of $50 in gas that was not used. Neither the dolly or blankets I had reserved were available. I had to drive to a different Uhaul location to pick up blankets - I was not provided a dolly as reserved. Not only was it a pain to drive to multiple locations to pick up blankets I had reserved - I was charged for additional miles, as they were not taken into consideration during my reservation. Again, these items had been reserved. Overall your business model is terrible. You allow individuals to reserve moving trucks and then don't have the reserved trucks available. Not only did I drive dirty truck that likely was not inspected and certainly wasn't gassed - you didn't have the truck I reserved available which cost me more money and moving expenses. An already stressful time should be made easier by a company that takes reservations. After all that is the point. I was prepared. Your business was not. Terrible experience.NICOLE K.

I booked a Uhaul truck and dolly. The day I went to collect, there was no dolly available and at that, I time the service desk person told me it's first come first serve. Either you reserve for the one who already books it or you don't show an option of booking a dolly. This incident disturbed and created unnecessary stress throughout the day and the service was pathetic. You guys really need to know how to treat your customers.ASHVINI F.
