I definitely got to know the staff as I worked with them for several months during this last move I made. Each time they were very helpful and courteous! I really would recommend them for all your moving and storage needs! It's really nice having a free month of storage when I used the uhaul truck for my one way move. It's a costly thing to do and that expense free of charge really helped! And 1 last thing, the public restroom was a great plus too. Moving is a dirty job. After a hot summer day moving boxes and furniture it was handy and helpful having a restroom facility on premises. It's the small things that matter most. And having a place to go when ya gotta go is spot on. As well as a place to freshen up when your wore down by a hard days work. Thanks again! Jess B

Allow a driveway all the way around the storage units, instead of parking U-Hauls at the back end. It is a hassle to back up a trailer or turn around in that limited space by the water.

Well managed. The manager should be the CEO of U-Haul. All of her employees are friendly and helpful. BTW, the U-Haul website is ridiculous, it puts items in your cart that you don't want. I prefer calling directly--you get what you want. I've used them twice in the past and won't use anyone else. She made our move easy and efficient. Can't say enough about the great folks at this location.

4 months didn't realize that I have been logged into the wrong units went to go in my storage one day and it had been locked because they didn't know who's unit it was due to the front office error and my dresser dry rotted in the storage for some reason.

The UHaul at Crater Road is outstanding. I love the 24hr Dropbox procedure. It makes Return so much more efficient. In Virginia, this is my preferred rental location. The staff was great and very professional. I give this location a 5 Star Rating as well. Overall, UHaul made my move from Georgia to Virginia so easy. I refer UHAUL to all my friends, family, colleague, and associates. Thank you for all you do!

Not an employee issue, but if there's three locations that are closer to where I lived and moved to that were less than 5 miles I should have had to drive to another further city and be charged extra miles. I had to pay over 100.00 dollars most of it was extra miles.

The most efficient U-Haul I've ever used. The two ladies that checked me in an out and the gentleman that hooked up and unhooked the trailer were professional and friendly. Moving is never fun, but they took the stress out of the trailer rental. They wrote the book on customer service.

The people were great. The physical layout of the location is difficult to maneuver. I don't know if there is a fix but leadership should take a look. Parking, vehicle turn in and pickup, and storage locations are all competing for the same blacktop beside the building.

I rented a uhaul truck on 7/6/2020 and got one month free storage with in the one month free I had to rent another uhaul truck on 7/18/2020 and ended up getting another month free storage. The first to ladies that helped me stated I could keep the same unit but when I went to use my 2nd free month storage on 8/4/2020 the young lady Maria told me I couldn't use my free month on the same unit I had to take all my stuff that was in the storage unit and move to another unit and I could not put it in my name.. I really thought that was stupid to move from one unit to another when I rented the truck 2 times in my name. I had heavy furniture in the unit and I had to move from that unit in order to get the promotion that uhaul supplied to its customers...Maria wasn't helpful at all but everyone one else was....
