The customer service and meeting expectations. I opted for the 24/7 service to pick up at 7:30 and when I tried to pick up I was told it wasn't available until 9:00. I came back to pick up and they didn't have any of the equipment I bought. There still hasn't been a refund even though that has been promised. It was slow, it was stressful, and it was just horrible.WILLIAM C.
I was given a Uhaul that was on EMPTY. On top of that your location prioritizes phone calls over in person customers. I was literally given the option of a van that needed gas or one that needed air in the tires. Completely unacceptable I made this reservation well in advance and the equipment should have been ready for me.JAMIE H.
The team member at the location was great and helpful. My issue is the cost of the rental. The 19.95 rental is misleading to consumers. My rental for very few miles and 1 day (local use) was almost $60.00.JASON W.

I know pest control may be a great challenge but this is the first time where I have seen a number of insects including spiders, roaches and ants all on one visit. Grace was incredibly helpful!!! We reserved a unit online but never got any more information about how to move in online. Arrived at 7:30pm after driving from Savannah .. hot and tired and ready to finish our journey. We first called the emergency # posted but it was to a former employee. However she gave us Graces # to call. We did and she did everything necessary to get us into the unit that night. We were incredibly grateful. I thought an "in town" pickup meant I could drop it off anywhere in town. That is a confusing name, it should be called "same location" or something. I was not told that it had to come back to the same location even though I said I would be driving far away. At drop off, Android app didn't work. I could not upload a picture. Seems to be a well known issue, that is a serious problem. Luckily my wife was there with her iPhone, otherwise I guess I would have locked the keys in the van and hoped for the best. I was on hold with customer service for 30 minutes before giving up and realized I could use my wife's phone.Timothy B.
Fuel levels were misreported by U-Haul personnel on both ends. Due to this misrepresentation, I was overcharged by $75. The employee at the dropoff location did not allow me the opportunity to sign and verify that THEIR reported fuel level matched the ACTUAL fuel level in the truck. Overall I am very disappointed with the experience and cannot recommend that anyone rent from either of these U-Haul locations.JEFFREYDAVID N.

The customer service person failed to correct the gas tank level, after I told her, to almost half a tank from more than 5/8s as marked on the paper, resulting in being charged for more than 4 gallons of gas while having driven 12 miles total. I should have been provided instructions at check-in to check email for the link to review/report the condition of the vehicle before leaving the lot as well as where to leave the vehicle when I returned. I only discovered the link provided for vehicle review accidentally after I returned the vehicle. When I've rented other vehicles a staff member has walked around vehicle with me pointing out any existing defects to the vehicle. For my own protection, I surveyed the vehicle and took pictures showing a myriad of scrapes, dings and dents before leaving the lot. In addition the truck interior was dirty. I found lots of dirt on the floor of the driver side and food and trash behind the driver seat. Vehicle smelled like old fast food. The bed of the truck had not been swept. I expected the vehicle to be clean! I requested counter check-in instead of online check-on to experience customer service. I anticipated a courteous, friendly welcome and thank you for my business upon return . Disappointed to receive neither.Candise G.

No issue with the location. The experience for pickup was frustrating. Went to the location scheduled for the reservation only to find out the location had changed. The guy at the original location could not tell me where the changed location was. Only gave me a number to call. I called and waited on hold for over 30 minutes. Highly frustrated! I did not receive an email, text, or call about the changed location. It delayed my trip substantially while trying to figure out where the rental was. Once I finally spoke to an agent, she said "I see that you did not receive notification of the change with your rental. Let me send that to you now." WHY was it not sent to me prior??? When we got to the U-Haul location, i did Everything i was Supposed to do on the app to get the u haul. The person on the chat told me that he needed ANOTHER alternate contact after he already spoke with my fiancÃ©. The chat then ended abruptly and i had No way of knowing where the keys were or what to do next. Then, it took 2 more hours for the woman on the phone to tell me where the keys to the U-Haul were. She ended up telling me where the keys were, but they were for another truck. At this point it had been almost 3 hours since i was Supposed to be packing up the U-Haul. We finally got the truck. When i was To return it; again, i followed All the directions on the app and it stated that the mileage was incorrect when i was trying to input it. It was correct, but since we were forced to get another truck it was all messed up. U-Haul made my moving experience horrible. I was So stressed the whole time and won't be using U-Haul again.JP T.

I signed in ahead of time so I could get the free lock for the unit. The lock was not placed in the unit as I had been told. I went to the office to talk to them about it, and there was only one person working the desk with at least three or four customers waiting. I did not have time to wait, so I left, and had to leave the unit unlocked overnight until I could get my own lock. This is our first time using a storage facility so I don't have anything to compare it to. We needed the storage facility for just over a year. We did not have the need to go there during the year so our experience with staff and the other aspects asked in the survey above were very limited. Ms. Mims provided me EXCELLENT customer service and went above and beyond to make sure ALL of my moving needs were met and that my transition went smoothly. I will be recommending this storage & U-Haul facility to my friends and colleagues. I would like to also add that the staff assisted me without any complaints even though the golf cart was broken and they had to walk and service EVERYONE by foot. I am a manager for a Fortune 500 company and I think it is a shame this company has yet to fix the broken golf cart or provide a new one for their staff. I will be investigating who owns this particular location so that I can let them know my thoughts as well. It's IMPORTANT to value and treat your employees well, especially when they are providing excellence and representing the company to and with the highest of standards.
