After visiting other U-Haul locations and being put off by the individuals working there , the owner and staff of this dealer operated just the way one would expect. Renting the truck was a smooth , easy and pleasant experience. It was -2 degrees the morning I picked up the truck. The truck was started and warmed up when I arrived. The biggest issue I had was with the app. When trying to return the truck after hours I tried to use the app to take the photos of the mileage and gas gauge. The photos wouldn't upload, I spent 20 minutes messing with it. When I called customer service I was told I would receive a call back the next day. I ended up being able to upload the photos to the website. I just wonder, why have an app if it doesn't work?Jeffrey W.

Overall experience with online reservation, the truck itself, billing, etc. all good. However, the employee who helped us when picking up and dropping off the truck was impatient and a bit rude. Otherwise a good experience.JASON C.

Got there at 6:52 pm to turn in the rental trailer. Was told by the attendant he would take care of my return. They didn't get around to turning it in until 9:42 am the day causing me to be charged twice. Will not be using them again.Michael L.
The steering wheel and inside handle was covered in some sort of black and brown dirt/grease. It got all over my hoodie and hands. After wiping down the filth, I put the tissue in the cup holder and there was brown liquid in there that was soaked up by the tissue.RACHEL W.

It is really inconvenient that UHaul changes the pickup location from your selected pick up location. We weren't aware of the change until we arrived at the original location. Also, in the app it showed that I was returning the vehicle to the pick up location which wasn't what I selected. It is very confusing where to pick up and return a vehicle.Vickie M.

MISSY is the one who waited on me at pickup and drop off, very professional and knowledgeable. Everything went smooth and hassle-free. I only ever use this uhaul location, it's about 15-20 min from the house I pass two smaller locations to get to this one but this one always is stocked with what I need I never have issues and the workers are always helpful. 5 stars for sure. Thank you for always making my rental experience with uhaul a positive one. I rent from uhaul on average 3 or so times a year.Leonard J.

This location is always chaotic, no one is ever standing outside or comes outside to assist you. All of the staff act is if you are an inconvenience to them. This location has horrible customer service skills. I hate this location but it is the closest to my home. Please get better management at this location. The whipple Ave location is amazing!!! Better organizational skills and BETTER customer service. I have never been to such a poorly managed business. From the moment I stepped foot in the store it was a negative experience. They had no idea why I was there and I had to show them my email confirmation of my hitch appt. They didn't have my parts so I had to reschedule. The rude gentleman told me to come back on Thursday however I received notice that it was rescheduled for Saturday instead. When I took my vehicle back I waited over twenty five minutes because the rude man waiting on customers had no idea what to do with the computer. After leaving my car I get the call the next day saying it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrive only to find that my vehicle had been driven 60+ miles overnight and my drivers side floor mat was FILTHY!!! The staff was not even aware that I had prepaid $500+ and requested payment. I will not ever return nor recommend this location to anyone!Samantha D.

The truck had just been returned by prior customer as we were pulling into the lot. The attendant quickly wiped the steering wheel and a bit of the dash with a clorox wipe and sent us on our way with it. It had some sort of 'food stuff' on the passengers seat and a gross used napkin. I dropped off my husband and he drove it back to our residence to get his dolly, etc and that is when the nasty stuff on the passenger seat was discovered. The passenger side mirror was quite loose and jiggled the entire trip. I tried several times to call the number that was given to us for issues and there was never an answer, just automated and then put on hold! I would likely rent from there again but would make sure to be there to check out the rental more closely and for myself. The bright spot was the agent that checked us out was very nice.Michael N.

Nobody went over the vehicle with me before I left. How am I supposed to know there should be a seal on the dolly. So, when I returned it the woman that checked it in said that the seal was missing therefore she deemed it necessary to charge me the $7.00 . How bad is your business that you have to nickel and dime your customers? I was willing to ignore that it took almost a half hour waiting to get the truck. Apparently Saturdays only need one person working. But, when you steal from me, I have a problem. When you make the customer check out the rental by themselves and then basically call them a liar upon return, you are not good with customer service. I have used this location on multiple occasions and never felt so upset at the end. All for $7 !!MARK H.

There is nothing that you can do that I think to improve for the next customer. Everything was wonderfully clean and ready to go when I arrived to pick up the van. The pickup location for the truck that I paid for was changed without ever telling me to a location that was an hour away. I took off work to pick the truck off so having to go to multiple locations was unacceptable. The employees at both locations were rude and they even had a 15' truck like I needed at the first (and promised) location but I was told since I was taking it out of state that I could not use that one. Clearly they should have given me that truck at the first location and if they needed the other truck for local moves later that day (or week from the sound of it) a U-Haul employee should have driven the truck from the 2nd location to the first. This also means that I had to pay for extra miles and gas and I was offered no form of apology or discount for my troubles.Cassandra W.
