This is the location I choose to drop off and when getting there they told us we couldn't return the vehicle there, that I had to call and 800 number, so I did and then it got added. Then they tell us that we are returning a day early and now they can't take the truck and I had to call 800 number again. Just not acceptable to be treated like this. Haul has a big issue with the employees they are hiring and it seems all of them have attitude issues and do not care about their jobs,Craig M.
This was my first time renting one of ur vehicles and it was a very bad experience for me I will never comeback or recommend it to anyone to get one. Because after I had one foe a day and a half the amount of money Y'll is charging me using the the van all my stuff I was getting was moving from one part of Atlanta to were I am now never went anywhere fare I put back gas in the van they charge me 129. And a week later there sending me and other bill saying own them 10142. I deal with the public also and I know a lot of people call to complain but seldom call to compliment. To whom it may concern My belongings were removed from u-haul storage on Cleveland Ave on Sept 10th not the 14th as stated in this email. Once my belongings were removed I CALLED and spoke with the assistant manager advising her of my move out. Of course she didn't update her records and I was billed for another month when my belongs were out 3 days before the due date..NEVER given my month free even though I asked for it at sign in! The staff and equipment was great. However, location is far from where we are. We did not rent from here but U-Haul changed it the morning of and this location is over 10 miles from my original rental location. Very inconvenient, especially when you charge extra per mile.Andres F.

My experience today was extremely unpleasant!!! I will not recommend or use Uhaul again. I was lied to, put in an unsafe vehicle, kept on hold for over 20 minutes and overcharged when returning the vehicle after I precisely explained the issue with gas gage and showed photos and receipts documenting my ordeal of a day driving one way from Atlanta to Birmingham. I am requesting a supervisor from your Corporate Office to contact me immediately. Also, inorder to improve your service for the next customer: - please do not give them a 15 foot gas guzzling truck when the requested a 10 foot for an out of state trip -please do not give them a truck with barely any gas in it and with a check engine light clearly showing on the dashboard - please do not provide a truck with the check tire icon displaying - please do not assign a truck where you cannot adjust the rear view mirrors or seats to match your height. (I am 5'5 and could barely see out of either mirror) - please do not say a 10 foot truck is unavailable and then assign the truck to another client that booked after me. - please do not keep a customer on hold for 20 plus minutes - please do not lie to the customer and say their concerns need to be addressed at their final destination Uhaul facility when they say otherwise - please do not overcharge customers for their trip after you have agreed to credit the overage the are being charged in the 1st place. Lastly, please note the female agent at this facility is amazing and none of my comments are about her. She went above and beyond to provide me a charger because the vehicle was so old it didnt have a standard usb charger. This is about the company and how you operate. Uhaul needs to be more transparent about their pricing, provide more effective customer service instore and over the phone and better maintain their vehicles.Cabriole B.

The experience I had generally was awful, the car's engine light came up 10 minutes into the trip. The truck had horrible acceleration and the RPM would go up to a very high number when I am not even accelerating which made it use more gas. This branch specially had beyond horrible service. First the entrance was very tiny that my towed car was in the street. I had to go around twice before I could get in. The agent that was there was less than helpful. I picked that location because I was told they will untow my car. However the lady made me unhook my car from the car transport although I had no idea how to do it, me and my wife had to go underneath the car to unhook it. She made me unhook the car transport from the car and she had me park it for her. When I returned the truck it had a bit less gas than when I got it, she charged me the less than 1/4 surcharge although the tank was definitely more than 1/4 of a tank. She refused to check the meter herself and had one of the employees take the truck before I could take a picture. She said I have to leave and refused to discuss it with me and said she will put the charge on hold until the manager will call me the next day which never happened.Hassan A.

The woman that worked there are soon was a manager offered no assistance in renting my truck I selected the counter pickup and she made me do the mobile pickup and which I was not able to facilitate until a younger staff member a female help me with her phone. The truck I received smell like marijuana and had a lot of dirt in the back with ants in it the truck should have been cleaned out, and it should have never been rented with that marijuana smell in it. The manager was rude and spent the whole time I was there speaking on her cell phone and doing a personal call she was very impersonal and I will never rent from that location again. These younger staff member was very helpful and had a very good people skills if it wasn't for her I would have left that location. And my honest opinion she should be running the whole operation. The older woman that is the manager that used to be post on some customer service skills also she needs to check her attitude at the door.AbiYah Y.

When the desk agent asked her boss to sort out a problem with the online check-in, she had to go outside to peak with her while she sat in one of the U-Haul vans with the engine and A/C going while texting on her phone in order to get an answer, which didn't work. Cedric Horton, the U-Haul representative at 2866 Forrest Hills Dr SW was very unhelpful, rude, and lied about putting an 1/8 of gas in the truck - when we received the truck it was empty. I never received a text from that location about pickup - originally my pickup location 3265 Glenwood Rd, Decatur GA 30032 and it took me several phone calls to try and talk with a live person about my pickup. Cedric also lied about sending me a text to confirm my drivers license. I would not recommend this location for pickup because of the awful customer service.Chole V.

The only thing that I think you need to change is when someone goes to rent a small truck for 6 days they should tell you the truck cannot be use for that long not wait until you get to the location and they inform you the days that you reserve cannot beheld that long that is unfair to the customer and the plans that they have already made assuming that they can have the truck as long as they need it that was the only bad experience I've had.STELLA H.

I paid my rental a week earlier than the 26 Feb due date. I moved out by 10:30 on the 26th of Feb. As a Retired Veteran rated 100% T&P Disabled + SMC-C For greater than 60+% more, & SSA Disability since 2015 and Medicare and TRICARE FOR LIFE 2 (Two) years later I can't afford to donate $127.90 to anyone, let alone a major Corporation like U/HUL. I arrived to bring my things and move them in. I was using a Uhaul truck and had limited time on it so I was hoping to finish in a timely manner. When I get there the associate was on the phone with what seemed like a friend. The manager was busy with another customer. The associate told me that the storage I reserved was not there. I showed him my reservation and he said they didn't have any. So I lef t frustrated. 10 minutes into my drive trying to find another storage, the manager calls and tells me that they do have a lot of open units. I turn all the way back around. I go back inside and the associate is there. I was told my info would be pulled up but it was very slow. He finally was to show me where my unit was, but instead of waiting for me to get the truck, he drove off. I waited at the gate until he finally appeared and waved for me to come towards him. I get to my unit and he asks me if I have a lock. I said "no I didn't know I needed one. Do you sell them?" He says "yes". Which was more frustrating because if I knew that I would've bought it earlier while everything was processing. He then drove off and did not show me how to open the storage. I had to call the front office and the manager explained it to me. When I was finally finished I had to go all the way back to the front just to buy a lock and then go back to my storage to lock it. This should've been a 30 minute process. But it took up 1 hour 45 minutes of my time. Costing me money and time. The manager was nice and apologized. But this was the worst experience I've ever had! Thank you! I stored my things here for 4 years and am grateful. Unfortunately, my gate didn't close properly and when I returned the unit was full of mice and cockroaches. I'm sure that's not unusual, though. It seems that over my rental period the gates all around mine were replaced with new ones. It would have been nice if they would have replaced mine as well. Otherwise, the facility is convenient. The staff was always very nice and communication was consistent and polite. Thank you! Ms. Erica Young was always accommodating, and I appreciate all of her help over the last year. When I was moving out of my storage unit on Friday, May 14th, Kendrick Moody was in the office. Kendrick insisted on ringing up the white guy that came in after us first. Even though the gentleman told Kendrick that my Fiancée and I were there first and Kendrick should help us. Kendrick still helps him before us. My Fiancée and I were still being patient after he rings up the gentleman, but next, Kendrick runs out of the store to help someone else. When Kendrick comes back, he asks us this time if he could help another person. We politely tell him no because we are moving items out of our storage unit today, and we were on a schedule. We want to rent the van so we can get started. Kendrick says "okay" and proceeds to help someone else still. When he comes back to help us finally, I asked him to remove a dolly from the service equipment contract because there were two dollys listed.
