Originally rented from a different lication and was bounced to the location I rented from, but I am too stupid and too lazy to look at the actual address listed on the rental contract and went to the location I thougjt I had rented. Luckily Sean was nice and professional and called the location for me. So if a lication is different from the one a customer tried to rent at a pip up confirmation of the change might be helpful.Raymond L.

I want to take a moment to recognize 2 people instrumental in the success of my move from Long Beach to Phoenix. Keeley, don't know last name, in logistics, for her diligence & service recovery when trucks weren't available. The rockstar was James Greathouse, manager at store #822025. Had to drive to Phoenix to pickup my truck due to no availability in CA. Needed 26' truck, got confirmed for 15' truck & 6x12 trailer, no bueno. Made Uhaul my first stop upon arrival, spoke with James and he was able to get me a 26' truck and relieved alot of stress. I was quoted $69 online. But The total was $122 for 40 miles. Not sure how that happened. Also I had to input alot of information online to reserve. Then I had to do it all over again in person when picking up the vehicle. I spent about 20 minutes at the physical location just doing â€œpaperworkâ€. Which delayed my project a few minutes.NELSON T.

The 26 ft truck I had reserved for over 3 weeks became unavailable the day I needed it. Uhaul has a terrible business model, overbooking, and leaving people hanging. Your inadequacy cost me over $1000. I will never use your company again, and will tell everyone I know how you do business.DAVID K.

This was not the location I was told originally. I ended up there after going to the location I was supposed to pick up from who then had me drive across town to this one. At no point did anyone call me and let me know of the change.ZACHARY S.
The Cave Creek location was fine, but we selected a different location (I-17 and Deer Valley) for pickup when we made our reservation and thought all was settled. I only was informed of the switch due to lack of availability of our selected model the night before via a phone call during dinner so I had no idea the pickup location was further out of our way than was really convenient (opposite direction) and I didn't have the presence of mind to ask for a discount for my trouble. For the inconvenience and the extra mileage we should've received some sort of accommodation or discount. I did raise this at pickup but clearly the clerk either didn't know what happened or was just determined to ignore me- maybe this is a regular occurrence? I also don't appreciate getting 3 separate charges which ultimately came to more than I thought I was going to pay. I am unlikely to be a return customer.Abigail T.

You charged by credit card 84.24 and that was fine. Later you charged it 61.85. No explanation and I have been hold with your "customer service" line for about 20 minutes now. Horrible customer service. 1) Send out the details of ANY further charges 2) Answer the phone!James A.

Close to my house. Pretty easy to book online. Online or â€œtouchlessâ€ is kind of a joke so make sure you are able to drop off during business hours or hook it up with your CSA. I have rented twice in two weeks and both times were straight forward since they can get you settled once you drop off with a handheld and you'll be on your way. It's a good location off the freeway and it was quick to get the truck rented.KEVIN T.

Your mobile version of the website sucks! Too many pages to flip thru, too many fonts, and Very confusing. Screwed around with it for 10 minutes then went inside and the guy at the counter had me entered in the system manually and my vehicle pulled up within 5 minutes! I sent a friend to pick up a key card for me because I was arriving after store hours and she told me the person who helped her was super rude and condescending and not really helpful at all. This location also charged me a month earlier than both what they were supposed to and what was confirmed online, causing a $36 overdraft fee and draining my bank account while I was already having money deposit issues. I've also tried contacting the general manager for the Cave Creek location multiple times and no one has gotten back to me on anything even when they deign to answer the phone. They take a message and the call is never returned. I don't normally leave reviews, but I'm just really frustrated with my experience and that I'm basically being ignored.Justine H. | First Impressions

I'm from Tucson, but was picking up furniture from Phoenix. So I made reservations with the Phoenix location to pick up U-Haul at 11:00 and drive back to Tucson, I got a confirmation but when I arrived to the location they told me they had nothing available, they called a different location and said I could pick up from there once I got there they had nothing available either and sent me to a different location once I arrive there they did have a 20-ft truck but inform me that it was not a one-way vehicle and sent me on my way needless to say I had to take it upon myself to find something. 3 hours later I found a U-Haul place and rented one this was very stressful as I am not familiar with Phoenix. I will probably never rent a U-Haul again very unprofessionalDAVID F.

I had 2 storages one in Anthem and one in the 101 and Cave creek. As I was moving out and the direct line to the storage was busy the online service respond I did ask for the dates it was due and after this they mix them up and I did move from the one I had more time and only few days of the other one . They will not give me extra time to stay and I have paid 20 days extra . It wasn't my fault I have used your storage for 4 years, never late. Had to upgrade from 5x10 to 10x10 $200 because the 5x10 has a 36 inch door. Nobody seems to know or communicate the storage rules. Last storage I rented was $78 after tax and had a full 5 ft door so I didn't have extra space.Shane H. | First Impressions
