This location of course gets the "job done" when it comes to renting or getting materials. However, the professionalism is not there but they are nice guys. The truck I rented...was horrid. The smell of the truck was a strong odor of Marijuana. I couldn't stand it. I intended to rent for 24 hours so that I could take care of a few things. But with even driving with the windows down in winter...I had to cut my trip very short. I just took it back after mind you that I spent about half an hour CLEANING the truck! The windshield was extremely dirty that it made it hard to see out of. I had to stop at the gas station less than 50 feet from the pickup location to clean it cause I could not see out of it well especially with the sun being low in the sky. The dust inside was very thick and everything was just dirty. Including the bed of the truck which I was not expecting. It had a bunch of red mud in places which meant I would either have to wash it down to put in the stuff I needed to transport or buy an additional covering for the bed of the truck. Neither was I prepared to do or wanted to do. It was a rough driving truck but it runs so, no bigger there. With all of this I just was over the whole thing and just took it back. I lost out on additional money since I had to fork out money to pay a service to do the stuff I needed done. I am not even close to happy. Oh I did mention the smell of the truck and why I bought it back upon return to Tashaun who checked me in but he made no effort and just said people return these things any kind of way. I thought there was a fee if returned not in the condition it was rented for cleaning. I guess that is not being enforced and if it is the cleaning after is not being done. Anyway, I was completely over the situation with a huge migraine so I did not want to stay another moment to voice any concern to management, if there was anyone there in that capacity.LaToria B.

Terrible experience, didn't have any dollys the day we moved into our house even though I had requested them and they didn't notify me until at front counter. leaving me to do all appliances and dressers by myself with no help. Causing furniture to chip and scuff floors damage to my houses!! Truck was never looked over keys just handed. Obviously not swept out by previous person with paint and debris on inside. I did my part as a responsible renter but this was just awful. I'll stick to Pensky as they never gave me trouble ever. Wish I could be refunded fully for this experience. But if it's not thannever again and no recommendations to anyone than so it is.Alex F.

No one checked out tge vehicle when I arrived to drop it off. They just took the keys and said bye. Now I have a bill that no one will straighten out for ne and NY card was charged more than the amount of the bill. When I called the support line the operator just cut their line off. I asked questions stayed on tge line for a 20 minute hold. And tge person that came back never tried to help me. They just stopped answering. I'm extremely upset because I use this service a lot and I recommend other people. Now I'm getting no help. And no one to actually tell me what I'm being billed for or to even resolve the issue about whatever payment. I have a storage unit in the same location and I'm just all tge say upset about tge way I'm being treated especially after continued use of this service for several years.courtney M.
When I opened the truck, there was a homeless person asleep in the cabin. I wasn't offered another truck. There were crumbs everywhere from the homeless guy's Doritos, and it smelled so bad. I had to drive the whole day with it smelling like a homeless person. I haven't gotten my money back, but in the process of trying to.CASEY M.

Called me repeatedly when I informed them I needed to rent the uhual for another day. No other location has done this. Then when I returned the unit after physically handing the lady behind the counter the key they called me repeatedly an hour later saying I didn't return the key and continued to do so for over an hour after I return to the location to explain what happened. They continued to insist I didn't return the key. I finally told them after an hour they need to check their security cameras so they can see I gave them the key and figure out where the lady behind the desk put it. It was a horrible and embarrassing experience. They also made a comment about this happening to other people several time. People at the location where unprofessional be very disorganized. I will never use this location again. Never had this experience at other locations. No manager was either on duty or didn't care enough to help out the situation. My reservation was changed 6 minutes before the scheduled time, and the pick up location for the van was also moved nearly 10 miles in the wrong direction. We were already at the first Uhaul facility when informed of this. I was also told no vans were available within 20 miles and so was changed to a 10' truck. I asked if I could return this truck to the original facility I had made my reservation at since it was much more convenient to my route. I was told it would probably cost over $400 to do that and so it was probably not a good idea. This meant extra miles and extra driving time, which means more cost for the total rental. The truck I got was in good condition and it was clean. However, while checking in the gas gauge did not match what was on the contract (it was listed at 1/4 but was actually 1/8). The online check in tool told me if I returned the truck with less than a 1/4 tank I would be charged $30. Hmmm. So I went back inside where I asked about this and was assured this would not be the case. After all this we were behind schedule by a good 45 minutes. At the end of the rental we needed to extend the rental time by 1 hour to get all our tasks completed and were charged $40 for that extra hour (almost the whole cost of the 6 hour original rental again). This was despite being set back nearly a full hour by the reservation change and gas gauge issue. I accidentally over filled the tank back up to 1/4 when returning the vehicle, so I am unsure if I would have otherwise been assessed the $30 fee. It is interesting to me that Uhaul charges an incredibly steep $4.75 per gallon if you do not fill the tank to the appropriate level but offers no such credit when you overfill the tank. I will say, despite not being flexible or offering compensation in any way for the issues I had (possibly not their fault, maybe Uhaul policy prohibits these things) the employees at the second Uhaul facility were courteous and professional. After this experience I will probably try a different company for my next rental.WILLIAM G.
I made a reservation for 10' truck for Saturday. The reservation was made about two weeks before pick up. They ran out of any size except 26'. I went to another near location. I got 17' truck with low gas. It wasted my time to wait and find a truck, spending a hour.ERIC C.

The truck that was rented to me had a broken turn signal swith, meaning I could not signal when turning or changing lanes. I did not notice until I was underway, and by that point I was too afraid to try to turn around since the U-Haul location was off of a highway and I was not able to use my blinker. It took almost an hour to check in and getting the dolly and furniture pads I'd reserved was stressful. At one point, an employee told me that I shouldn't be upset because I could just drive 30 minutes to another U-Haul location to pick up the items. Another employee fortunately found an appliance dolly that was over to the side and unaccounted for.DAIL M.
After having my car wired for lights so I could pull a motorcycle trailer that I had reserved the location didn't have the trailer I needed. I spent well over an hour waiting for service before this mistake was even realized.ROBERT H.

My car trailer, I know that is not what you call it, was not in very good condition. The straps were frayed, difficult to pull through the front tire brackets. The ramps in the rear did not have both pull straps, so it was difficult to deploy and store the ramps. I was concerned about making the trip safely. I accidently went to wrong store to pick up. Customer service here sucks!!! Never had a problem before this rental. Felt harassment and just didn't understand. Problems come above in business so we must improvise to accommodate the ones who are loyal customers and not every blue moon customers. Had to wait when I went to pick the truck up. There was no one inside the store when I arrived. Waited for about 10 mins and then someone came in from outside. Had a hard time finding the truck I was renting. Asked for help in find it and they treated me like I was not important. Like I was a bother to them. Lean how to communicate better first of all. If there is a problem with scheduling honor it to make it right. Dont just change it to 24/7. That system is poorly sit up. 1.The right side mirror was completely busted and unable to be adjusted for safe driving. This needs to be resolved. 2. Online checkin was impossible. It would not allow me to check certain boxes to complete the process and I had to go inside. 3. Lastly if someone is reserving ahead of time allow them to add in potential mileage beforehand so they know the actual cost of rental. It was almost $90 when the original quote was $50.Nicholas F.

Management at this facility has been very helpful and accommodating. On Sunday I found the young man that helped me was not overly friendly and didn't communicate enough. As my there was confusion around my storage reservation, he had to contact his manager (who was not working). Of course this was not a problem, but it would have been less frustrating for me if the associate would have just communicated more information about his dialogue with his Manager.
