Disconect between national customer service and local worker, causing a very stressful situation in our moving process, Asked for extension on days needed for truck, approved by 800 number with text verification, local person called half hour later saying it was not possible, at this point I could not undo plans based on text ok. After about three phone calls and one and half hours on phone, long wait time on phone loop, not so nice customer service reps, bad chat experience, I made it thru to schedule person that made it happen, if your in a fluid situation that could change out side of your control plan on a lot of phone time and hope for the best.BRIAN TIMOTHY Q.

Trailer leaked a more than acceptable amount of water under light rain conditions. I was supposed to return the trailer at end of day on Saturday and returned it an hour after opening on Sunday. Was charged for an additional entire rental period. I think that could have been waived or reduced.Timothy P.

We had a truck out for rent and tried to extend the rental. It wouldn't let us online and we spent 25 minutes waiting for someone to answer the phone (which never happened) when we thought we called the store directly. We way under estimated how much time we would need and literally got less than half way with our project so we quickly put everything away for the day and returned the truck. Exhausted and defeated we went in to the store and the guy informed us we could have had the other truck (a 10' bed truck) for longerâ€¦ but we gave up already having put everything away and because of the phone call with the hurry to return on timeâ€¦ so I don't know if the phone is to blame or the store or the company as a whole. I know that we are having to rent another truck tomorrow and we way over estimated the time we will need insteadâ€¦ but it will prevent anyone else from using it for an entire day now, which we were trying to avoid. So I would say the online rental thing isn't good either. Overall I'm glad I rarely need a uhaul. Wish the phone system was a better system.Angela E.

It turned out that not only was my door broken and that let the elements and mice in, but the roof leaked as well, soaking all my furniture and electronics. My storage unit went to crap and I had to clear it all out and pay $130 to dump it in the local dump. Uhaul needs to provide better weather resistant locks if they they insist customers must use their equipment. Locks will freeze in the harsh weather , making it impossible to access storage unit. Keys for the locks are even worse, not durable at all.Sheri B. | Overall Experience

Alesha Mowers was super nice and very informative. I felt like she went above and beyond to make me feel at ease and fully taken care of. I didn't have any questions because she answered any before I could ask. It's always a nice to interact with someone like her. I even arrived right before closing and usually people get annoyed with that because they're ready to go home and be done with their shift but she was happy and helpful and even made me laugh at times. I left there feeling better then I did when I arrived. Moving is stressful and having to store my things while im in-between places with my lease at one place ending 30 days before my new one starts... she someone how made all that stress just disappear.
