The people at this location were nice. The experience as a whole ranks this a 1. We reserved a truck a week prior to getting the call when we were an hour from picking up and it got canceled. The guy was horribly rude at the slaughter location. Horribly rude. We finally after spending half a day trying to be helped got a reserve for the 26 foot truck we wanted. Got there and it wasn't available after we spoke and they said it was. We ended up finally getting a much smaller truck that two us two days and two trips versus the one day and one trip causing a lot of chaos. Then on top of it the charges were ridiculous because we had to put so many miles on it. We literally could have had a moving company do it. Won't ever use y'all again!! Use to be good. Now it's absolutely horrible customer service and the unavailability of trucks.

I was told when I called to confirm that we could have the truck earlier at 4 pm until 1 pm on the 31st. When we picked up we were told we had to have it back 10:00 pm on the same day. That gave us 5 hours to move and completely messed up our moving experience. I will never use Uhaul again or recommend them to others. The uhaul employee was very kind, but the system itself is ridiculous if you confirm reservations and then change them at the list minute.

John B. | Overall ExperienceWe made a reservation for the U-Haul Moving & Storage of Rundberg 10125 N Ih 35, Austin, TX 78753, and when we arrived we were told that the equipment was not there and we had to go to the Burnet location. When we arrived at the Burnet location there was only one customer service representative to assist a large line of customers. Once we received the equipment, there was a flat tire and significant damage to the wheel house which caused the trailer to swerve while driving. We lost 2.5 hours of our time because we were not able to pick up at the originally requested location. UHaul needs to do better to honor the reservations made online and ensure the equipment is transferred appropriately. Overall the customer experience was very poor and unfortunately there are no other rental companies in town.

thomas J.My overall experience with uhaul was very poor. It was not this pick-up locations fault - it was the schedulers' and corporate's fault. My reservation was moved twice because my truck was given away to different customers twice. The first time, my reservation said it was “24/7 - pick up your truck at any timeâ€. The location did not honor this however, as they gave away my truck ten minutes after my original reservation time. The scheduler told me my second location would hold my truck for me for one hour. This was also not honored, as I arrived 30 minutes after my appointment time and my truck had been given away. To add insult to injury, the store workers at the second location were very rude, blaming me for being late and not offering me any solution. On top of that, I spoke to the same scheduler again, and she was also rude, claiming that she told me to get there early. However, I asked her multiple times, and she told me my truck would be held for me for at least an hour. Overall, the service was very poor from uhaul and the workers were rude. I am extremely disappointed in my experience with uhaul.

Maybe, they were accually busy but they didn't even ask for patience or show any recognition to customers. When I went to return the truck, the workers at the returning station tossed me to the desk and the desk workers tossed me to the returning station. I had to wait outside under 103 degree for 7 minutes till the first toss (outside to desk).

That would've made the 4th time my reservation was modified without my approval because of truck unavailability. Thankfully, after I informed Julie I was on my way, she made an executive decision to give me a different rental and that was all we needed. I'm grateful for that decision and it saved us from so many additional headaches.
MARY M.Just one comment about the reservation process that was a little confusing. I rented this trailer on the web remotely so that my relative in Louisiana could deliver something to me in Texas. However, that person still had to pay for the rental with their credit card, even though I had completed a reservation with my credit card. This caused some confusion at the time of pickup. It would be nice if you would allow the card used at reservation to continue to be the method of payment. Happy to provide more detail if helpful. Thanks.

Also I had asked about if I need to give a notice before I intend to vacate and they said I didn't, but then a sign inside the unit said I did need to do that. The process just has left me not very trusting of Uhaul because I cannot seem to get a straight or reliable answer on anything.
